I feel so fucking weak. It’s only the second day of my new job and I’m basically having a physical and mental breakdown. Everything hurts and there’s so much to do every day. And it’s gonna get even harder over the next week as more students roll in. I wish life could just be easy. I didn’t ask for this. I just wanna live and be happy but I can’t stop crying and I feel like I don’t have the time or energy to do anything before or after work. I’m so tired

I started a new job today and I feel like it’s a good fit for me, but my body and head are killing me, I hope I can reset myself with a good night’s sleep, I really don’t wanna feel worse tomorrow 😭

Also maybe tomorrow I’ll feel comfortable taking a minute to eat the food. My first two kitchen jobs were kind of strict about eating the food we made, but here I’m allowed to stop and eat whenever I’m hungry (assuming I have a few minutes), and we’re allowed to take home leftovers. It’s a high school cafeteria, but like, borderline gourmet, so it smelled heavenly and I can’t wait to try some of this week’s menu. We’re having some of my favorites and I’m pumped 😊
