He seems very tense~

That being side her claws and the lick of her tongue did send a shiver through the horseman's body despite his words. Indeed how long had it been since he had last lain with someone? Surely not so long... right?

I was there four-hundred years ago during the fall of the Old World. I rode along side your army of wizards fifteen years ago. I have been there for every loss and victory you have seen." The horseman rather enjoyed being vague with the Archwizard. Conquest wanted to see how much of his true essence Dark would be able to grasp with all the power the wizard had at his disposal.
"Surely you don't need me to hand the answer to you, right?"
"Me controlling you is like telling someone to dig a hole you plan to bury them in. While you might not be able to truly kill me, considering my domain, you very much will make this existence rather cumbersome. No, I'd much rather ride along and see what your new version of conquest turns out to be this time around." Conquest takes another puff from his pipe, enjoying the way the plagues attempted to ravage his immortal vessel to no avail.
"Besides, I meant what I said when I consider you my kin, maybe not direct family like my siblings, but if you ever wish I would happily host you and the people you care about at my palace if you wish for a vacation of sorts. No need to even worry time passing as it is outside of any reality that has pesky Father Time in it." He laughs loudly, the sound seeming to almost resemble that of a battalion of soldiers charging a battlefield.
"I do hope you get the ending you wish for this time. Truly I do."

Dark may be a loudmouth, a fool in some peoples eyes or even a walking disaster, but under that charade lied wisdom gathered from his long life and knowledge he has gathered over the time. So, he was more than aware that this guy was anything but human, or anything made of something simple as flesh.
"Tch dont you start mocking me now, I aint that blind " he would scoff with a small smirk tugging at his lips. "Hope you enjoyed your ride before, lemme guess now you want to hitch the same one again by coming over to my side hm?"
"I'm not mocking you, Dark, not at all. In fact you are one of the very few beings that has earned my respect over my eons of life" Conquest takes a puff from his pipe filled with plagues that had wiped out civilizations.
"I was on your side then, as I am now, unfortunately for you, Conquest does not simply ride on the side of the winners. There must always be a victor in any war, and you didn't get that role. Now though... I can see you have changed in many ways, but your drive for victory is still the same. You shine so bright with my essence that I could call you kin and none would dare question me." The horseman looked upon Dark almost as a proud parent might look upon their child as his noble white steed, Glory, came over to nuzzle the Archwizard affectionately.
Normally he would dislike overly flattering talk out of nowhere, especially if it was related to his conquest and grand plans. However, there was no lies from this person hell the moment he did notice the scent of smoke, for a moment something ancient, far older than him, reminded him of his origins...
A small eye roll was not held back, he was aware of his change compared to man he was 15 years ago. He was relatively the same just less...ruthless some might say. "Of course I aint giving up on my ambitions that easily! Being sealed only fueled my desire thats it!" it was a denial he used in public, but only wild horses pulling out his teeth would drag the truth from him. "Tch, but a kin? Since you know so much you must be aware of my story to some extent arent you? "
At the sight of white horse Dark rose a single brow but didnt move away, allowing the it nuzzle at him as silent sigh escaped him. He did have a small soft spot for beasts that were naturally affectionate.
"Oh yes, I am aware of your story. I need to focus to get the details but the broad strokes I can remember very clearly. All great conquerors are in my memory, from the moment they are born to the day they die, in your case multiple times." Conquest walks closer, standing beside his trusty steed to stroke his flank before holding out some gold nuggets to dark.
"He likes gold. Feel free to feed him if you wish." Conquest was calm and completely unbothered, seeming to actually be enjoy being in the Archwizard's presence. The aura of conquest emanating from the white haired wizard was like a warm sunbath for a cat to bask in.
"I take it you're putting together my identity as we speak?"
The Archwizard's blue eyes narrowed, like an eyes of a wolf assessing whether or not was it too risky to take a bite out of something potentially more dangerous than himself. Without much words he does take few gold nuggets, briefly inspecting them between his fingers before eventually offering it to the majestic steed.
"I am, and it makes me wonder, why are you making yourself so open with approach ? " he asks somewhat bluntly, head tilted to side with lazy interest.
"Usually entities like you prefer to beat down mortals and ask to be worshiped or make us grovel. So why you playing down here hm?"
Glory happily munched away at the gold in the wizard's hand while Conquest continued stroking the stallion's side. A small smile spread on the horseman's lips, not malicious, but understanding.
"Mortals are my livelihood, I gain my power from you all but also do my work through you all. If I wanted could I lord over everyone and take all for myself? Of course." He finally turned to the Archwizard, as he spoke just as bluntly.
"But that would be kind of like burning my house to stay warm. It's not feasible in the long run. Besides, in the end, much like how all things will eventually go to my older sibling, everything and everyone caught in war and strife eventually comes to me anyway. The conquerors and the conquered, the rich and poor, the protected treasures and the spoils of war. They are all mine at the end of the day, so why would I bother trying to take what is already mine?" Of course Conquest didn't mention that one aspect of himself, deep down, WANTED to take it all for himself and reign like a king for eternity, thankfully he wasn't about to let that part of himself out any time soon.

"All hail the conquering hero. But what is a hero but a warmonger to the lives they have trampled? Death follows those who call themselves "heroes" whether they want it or not.
All hail the conquering hero. To conquer someone or something, to invoke my domain, is that not to be a killer? A destroyer of hopes and dreams? But then again, history will tell a different story won't it? I will know the truth though. Every bloody boot print made in the homes of the innocent. Every child robbed of a future for one reason or another.
