SO NO ONE WAS GONNA TELL ME A FAN THAT SHIPS DARKVOLT WENT TO TAD STONES HIMSELF AND ASKED FOR ART OF THEM BEING HEROIC TOGETHER AND HE DID IT??.??

gosh if i could wish for a specific dwd spinoff series or shorts, i would’ve loved to see darkwing and megavolt’s early days of being a hero / villain after the prom incident. there’s SO much potential to see what they would’ve been like in their early days, i could see them having some sort of friendship even as ‘enemies’ bc they help each other have a purpose again (darkwing moving past being ‘drake the dweeb’ and megavolt gaining some form of identity for himself) and looking forward to their spats together and having genuine fun, plus all the wacky hijinks and teenage fashion from that time period, the awkwardness of being new to the whole gig. peak potential

TO add onto this for pure darkvolt indulgence the flirting back and forth. the “oh hey i like the new outfit” “oh you like it? i wanted to try something new”. the “you remind me of someone”, the fact it’s been them all along without even knowing, the fact they were never separated from each other at all just lost who they were and found who they were again together. aughhhh
