I absolutely HATE the "slave x master" trope. There is no way for you to justify that. The one way the plot tries to, is that the master gave the slave a choice to be free and then the slave goes, "No, master, I want to be with you! I love you!"

What makes it worse is that the plot sometimes has this guy raise this slave child and then they become lovers at a "appropriate" age. Yuck!

People try to argue that its the same plot as when a worker falls in love with their boss. No. It's not. They're owning another human being.

|| One thing people need to understand in the rp community is that not everyone is going to like you or your character. Unfortunately, no one is going to get an exact answer to why. Maybe they don't like your writing, they don't like your character, or just because they don't vibe with the mun. And then if you try to force an answer or an interaction then that person is very less likely to be fond of you.

You're not going to get the closure you want. You just have to move on.
