ABANDONMENT, CHEATING  TW      /      only  knowing  the  embrace  of  his  sister  as  a  de  -  facto  mother,  jack  has  no  recollection  of  his  mother.  she  left  him  at  a  fire  station  only  a  few  months  into  life,  note  and  contact  because  she  couldn't  do  it  herself.  father  was  running  around  with  the  woman  —  his  new  wife  at  some  golf  field  in  pensacola,  –  found  after  the  family  life  seemingly  wasn't  for  him,  leaving  delilah  the  first  moments  their  last  -  but  -  jack  child  was  born.  jack  is  the  result  of  a  ill  -  fated  one  night  stand  during  a  fight  with  the  new  wife  -  he's  sure  it  went  something  along  the  lines  of  i  still  love  you,  blah  blah  blah  blah  and  he  ditches  her  again  for  the  younger  secretary.  not  positive,  but  he  knows  how  these  games  go.  it's  the  only  thing  that  explains  the  age  gap  between  siblings. never  mind  the  high  school  sweetheart  -  isms,  never  mind  the  fact  that  they  had  multiple  children  together.  what's  come  to  fruition  was  to  never  rule  again  ..  or  something  like  that. 

this  sister,  and  bless  renee's  heart,  made  that  red  -  eye  flight  and  arrived  by  sun  -  up  florida  time  from  ennora's  nearest  airport.  starting  her  life  anew  in  washington  state  meant  leaving  family  behind,  and  jj  isn't  sure  what  life  was  before  he  existed  –  he  never  bothered  to  ask,  too  focused  on  causing  problems  on  the  upbringing  to  think  too  hard  about  it.   it's  not  a  secret  —  but  he  doesn't  really  care.*  but  she  took  him  home  and  raised  him.  what  else  was  she  going  to  do?

jack  has  been  an  ennora menace  since  he  could  walk,  figuratively.  he's  done  every  activity,  been  in  every  friend  group  you  could  think  of.  the  kid  that  was  constantly  sat  in  the  time  out  corner  since  the  first  day  of  kindergarten,  to  being  removed  from  school  assemblies  because  he  couldn't  keep  his  mouth  shut.  that's  the  common  denominator  with  jj:  he  couldn't  sit  still,  couldn't  keep  his  mouth  shut,  did  anything  to  make  the  people  around  him  laugh.  his  peers  were  ..  the  authority  figures  were  not.  his  poor  sister  becoming  a  constant  in  the  principals  office,  it's  easy  to  spot  jj  in  the  crowd. 

it  was  picturesque,  for  what  it's  worth.  jj  doesn't  remember  much  of  a  time  they  struggled.  any  time  that  happened,  it  was  shoved  away  deep  into  the  pockets  of  his  mind,  never  to  be  shown  again.  his  sister  did  everything  she  could  for  him,  and  in  turn,  he  was  ..  a  little  reckless.  typical  teenager  things.  snuck  out  way  too  much  and  had  little  ambition  to  really  grow  up.  passed  his  classes  by  the  skin  of  his  teeth  and  had  very  little  idea  as  to  what  he  wants  to  do  with  his  life.  chases  adrenaline  rather  than  listens  to  logic.

got  a  job  at  town  hall  as  an  admin  assistant.  he's  kind  of  like  someone's  right  hand  man  –  it's  a  cushy  job  that  jj  doesn't  seem  himself  in  super  -  long  term,  maybe  until  he  graduates  and  maybe  hopefully  has  his  passion  land  in  his  lap.  currently  attends  the  local  community  college  as  a  journalism  student.  wanna  -  be  tiktok  creator,  but  has  no  traction.  three  steps  away  from  starting  a  horrid  podcast  just  to  feel  something. 

TIDBITS.

went  no  -  contact  with  his  father  in  2010,  when  he  was  8.  jj  had  been  flown  down  to  florida  to  spend  time  with  him  for  the  first  and  last  time  –  when  he  was  left  alone  in  some  fancy  marriott  hotel  room  for  2  days  to  fend  for  himself  while  his  father  spend  the  days  at  a  golf  course  with  his  buddies  “working”.  conveniently  did  not  tell  his  sister  about  this,  only  was  found  out  when  housekeeping  noticed  the  kid  was  still  there  again  during  the  day  after  something  happened.  jj  thinks  he  was  living  his  suite  life  dream  and  ordered  more  room  service  than  he  knew  what  to  do  with.  payback,  bitch.

wears  the  hottest  finds  he  can  catch  at  goodwill  –  anything  from  condom  promotional  t-shirts  to  fishing  hats  to  spray  painted  air  jordans.  has  little  to  no  fashion  sense  and  at  this  point  doesn't  care.  collects  old  band  t-  shirts  and  tv  /  production  crew  shirts.  the  more  obscure,  the  better.  a  very  big  collector  of  things  no  one  else  likes.  also  always  in  shorts  and  a  t  -  shirt.  only  in  actual  pants  if  he  doesn't  want  to  freeze  to  death.  considers  himself  a  florida  boy  despite  only  living  there  for  less  than  6  months  and  half  of  that  he  wasn't  even  sentient. 

was  captain  of  the  local  high  school's  soccer  team  but  then  was  kicked  off  because  he  kept  starting  fights  with  the  other  captains.  something  about  bragging  rights  and  territory  and  stuff.  it  was  weird. 

obsessed  with  reptiles?  volunteered  at  a  reptile  shelter  a  few  hours  away  for  some  reason  as  a  middle  schooler  -  the  first  thing  he  bought  with  his  own  adult  money  is  a  bearded  dragon  named  chompy,  who  he  loves  more  than  anything  in  his  life.  when  you  meet  chompy  you  know  it's  real.

has  done  every  activity  underneath  the  sun.  soccer,  peewee  football,  dance  classes,  art  classes,  music  lessons,  school  musicals,  journaling,  animal  shelter  volunteer,  neighborhood  mail  -  kid,  dirt  biking,  computer  programming  and  development  /  coding,  woodworking,  literally  you  name  the  damn  thing.  always  moving,  always  talking,  always  thinking.  diagnosed  with  adhd  at  age  10  and  that  didn't  change  a  thing.  has  a  habit  of  forgetting  his  medication  and  not  telling  anyone,  but  you  can  just  tell. 

should  wear  glasses,  hates  contacts  because  the  whole  eye  thing  freaks  him  out.  needs  to  get  his  oil  changed  by  at  least  200  miles.  car  is  a  mess,  hasn't  cleaned  it  out  in  months.  always  behind  on  his  phone  bill  and  uses  klarna  like  it's  fucking  candy.  always  turning  in  late  assignments  at  the  last  minute,  doesn't  care  about  the  grade  as  long  as  he  passes.  afraid  of  heights,  but  is  fine  on  airplanes.  always  late  to  class  and  kind  of  likes  the  attention  it  brings.  would  be  an  amazing  evil  sidekick.

annoys  everyone  on  campus  because  he's  always  running  up  to  people  with  his  friends  and  doing  little  interviews  with  a  tiny  microphone.  he  was  banned  from  the  school  paper  because  he  tried  to  do  a  gossip  column  like  thing.  then  was  confused  why  people  were  mad  at  him. 

insomniac.  will  walk  around  at  night  to  try  and  tire  himself  out  but  it  doesn't  work.  do  not  be  surprised  if  he's  up  at  all  hours,  sleeps  for  a  small  bit  of  hours,  then  is  at  work  like  a  live  -  wire.  melatonin  doesn't  work.  should  probably  see  a  doctor,  but  whatever. 

will  try  anything  once,  will  listen  to  anything  as  long  as  he  likes  it,  will  talk  to  people  even  who  dislike  him  because  he's  gonna  chop  it  up  with  you.  simple. 

currently  lost  as  fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  in  life.  has  no  desire  to  work  a  ‘real’  job,  kind  of  wants  to  try  backpacking  in  europe  or  something  as  if  that'll  magically  fix  his  problem.  there's  nothing  he  wants  to  settle  down  with,  which  is  the  problem,  and  it's  starting  to  eat  him  alive  and  piss  his  family  off. 

a  ennora  baby  through  and  through  (  although  he'd  beg  to  differ  )  ,  jj  is  known  around  town  for  being  nosy  and  annoying.  he  probably  was  your  least  favorite  classmate,  your  exes  little  brother,  your  annoying  neighbor.  literally  the  world  is  your  oyster. 

i'd  love  some  more  older  sibling  figures.  to  steer  him  good  or  steer  him  wrong  is  up  to  you,  but  he'll  chop  it  up  with  anyone.  friendly  as  fuck  and  can't  take  a  hint  if  it  slapped  him  in  the  face.

co  -  workers  or  people  who  come  to  the  town  hall  and  hate  their  lives  because  every  time  they  go  he  does  some  fucking  shit. 

family  friends  who  are  kind  of  like  cousins  if  they  don't  think  about  it. 

people  on  college  campus.  teachers,  classmates,  innocent  bystanders.

frenemies.  enemies.  maybe  he  stole  your  parking  space  in  his  beat  up  sorrento.

i'd  loooove  a  best  friend.  maybe  someone  he  can  kiss.  i  don't  know  i  just  don't!  anything  to  get  him  to  be  quiet  damn!
