Sometimes I go back and scroll through my account and I reallyyyy go from being in heat wanting to get freaky with Michael like a slut to crying about him being pure and wholesome and being depressed about him being dead and there is no in between at all but the spectrum is complex
cannot stop thinking about michael jackson… the fics help!
i am white! i still support and love everyone who writes, as long as it is respectful.
personally, i love bsf!reader and mj :) so cute!!
i could get down with any era… and by get down y’all know i’m not talking about dancin’
anyhow, personally i will NOT write for michael. i love to read everyone’s works :) they call me somewhat of a silent supporter. the mj fanfic community has been going thru it lately and I didn’t know if it was okay to talk about seeing as I am white and the discourse was about racism. I LOVE OUR BLACK AUTHORS AND READERS! TO THE BONE!
Michael Jackson was a BLACK MAN, through and through, you cannot doubt that for a second. Having Vitiligo, despite his skin losing the melanin due to this condition, does NOT make you white! Yes the pigment of the skin changes, but nothing else!
Again, I support all writers and creators as long as you are doing so with respect. Racism has no place in a fandom where the artist loved EVERYONE. He loved everyone and gave us so much of himself. I couldn’t imagine the disappointment he’d feel.

Welcome to Lexi's ex! He does have a face :) Super excited to introduce him to you. I will not go super deep into his lore considering he is a side character. I did have a few ideas I wanted to write out with him and Lexi, just to highlight some key points in their relationship. A big part of why Lexi is the way she is, is because of Theo. Enjoy!
⋆。˚ ☁︎ ˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆
Full Name: Theodore James Caldwell
Age: 26 (when he and Lexi breakup)
Height: 5’11 1/2
Birthday: March 14th, 1981
Family: Dad (Joseph Alexander Caldwell), Mom (Lorraine Marie Caldwell), and brothers (Joseph Alexander Caldwell Jr and Thomas Jonathan Caldwell, twins, born in 1976)
Eye Color: Brown
Hair color: Black
Relationship: Alexandra “Lexi” Flynn < ex >
𓂃 ོ☼𓂃
Theo was a rough kid, he grew up in the suburbs with his family but always got into the wrong crowd of kids. By high school his older brothers were such legends and yet he wasn’t. He was the outcast kid. One of the only kids with a motorcycle. He’d gotten expelled from high school and this was his parents final straw. They kicked him out at 18.
He shacked up with his friends, his band. They got pretty popular on the local circuit in Seattle, so much so that they’d decided to take the band to Vegas. Soon things crumbled and fell apart. No one had taken into account the amount of drugs and alcohol readily available in Las Vegas. One of his bandmates overdosed and that was it for them. They disbanded pretty quickly, the other members having been in talks about solo careers with producers. He was the only one who wasn’t.
He continued going to clubs on his own. One of these particular clubs brought him to Lexi. The first thought that crossed his mind when he looked at her was how out of place she seemed. He chatted her up at the bar in between her orders. They’d gotten together fast. He’d had a lot of time on his hands seeing as his band fell apart. Lexi’s coworkers had come to expect him whenever she was there. Everyone had mentioned to her how it seemed weird he would come in day in and day out, no matter what time she was on, just to sit there and watch her. He got to talk to her when she had the chance, seeing as she worked in a bar and was one of the younger women there, she didn’t have much free time. They spent her breaks together but more often than not he was just watching.
She thought it was sweet— especially the first few times he’d defended her. There were quite a few men who’d pushed her boundaries. Being the youngest bartender had its perks! More tips because you’re pretty, with more tips came more customers. There was never a shortage on middle aged men or seniors who liked to get handsy when drunk. She’d gotten multiple offers to sell herself. She liked money as much as the next girl but she would never defile herself for it.
Theo got rough with one of the men who touched her ass. It was a busy shift and she honestly hadn’t even noticed. One minute she was rushing around and the next, all hell broke loose! Theo had the guy on the ground in five seconds flat. He was banned from the bar that night. The customer who’d touched her was as well. She thought that would be the end of it but Theo got increasingly upset every time she’d had to leave him for work. He’d found a job with his new time and convinced her that she didn’t have to work.
He didn't like what she did with her newfound freedom. She chose to go to the library and read, learn more about history and the things she loved. It took her away from him. He decided she wasn't allowed to leave. She needed to stay in the apartment unless he said it was alright.
Lexi felt trapped. He'd taken her away from all her friends, anyone who had cared about her. She wanted her freedom and she was damn well gonna have it. She chose not to tell him she was leaving one day. With her latin book in hand, she trekked to a local park to read and have a picnic. Deciding to leave her phone at the apartment was a bad idea. When she arrived home, Theo was seething. He'd been home for an hour going crazy looking for her. She tried to calm him down but nothing worked. By the end of the night her skin was black and blue and she never felt more alone.
MORE OF THE STORY TO COME!!

Okey dokey! This is Theo. I'm super excited to introduce him and I can't wait until I post the writings with him, Lexi, and surprise special characters.
For the longest time I’ve obsessed over finding face claims for my characters. I’ve really lucked out in the past but with Lena and Lexi I’ve struggled quite a bit. since i can NEVER find the right ones, let’s just go with anyone who has blonde hair is Lena and anyone who has black hair is Lexi. There are certain characteristics for each character that will remain the same.
Lena Singer has heterochromia. One eye is blue and the other is green! Her hair is blonde. She’s 5’6, I think that’s what I said in my initial write up of her character lol.
Lexi Flynn has amber eyes! Her hair is black, it’s dyed. Her original hair color is a medium brown. She’s 5’8, again I’m not super sure what I wrote in my original write up. She has tattoos and a nose piercing.
I have posted multiple in-depth writings concerning their backgrounds. I might write out character profiles for a few of the men I have mentioned in these. If you’ve been paying attention you might know who! If not, it’s Greyson and Theo. I’ve been putting a lot of thought into writing out other characters because that’s the thing I love most about fanfiction. You can take characters you’ve made and turn them into something completely new. When you dive too deep into your characters, you can take away the fanfiction aspect until it becomes just a story you’ve written.
“They felt sick.” — Vague.
“They threw up.” — Sometimes, but not always.
Illness isn’t a switch you flip. Fever and nausea creep, spike, ebb, lie to you, then come back worse. They live in the body first, and that’s where your writing should live too.
Below, I've written a lil' cheat sheet for you. Reblog so you can come back later.
THE BODY LANGUAGE OF FEVER & NAUSEA
Skin & Temperature
Skin alternates between clammy and burning
Deep internal warmth
Sudden chills while sweating
Clothes feel wrong, either too heavy, too tight, too warm, not warm enough, etc.
Goosebumps even in a warm room
Face flushed, ears hot, neck damp
Head & Senses
Head feels pressurized or stuffed with cotton
Eyes ache when moving
Nose stuffed (on either one side, or both)
Ears ringing or deaf on one side
Lights are too bright/sharp
Sounds blur together
Food smells gross
Room feels tilted or surreal
Focus slips mid-thought
Food/water has an aftertaste
Stomach & Core
Nausea that comes in waves
Swallowing feels deliberate, effortful
Dry swallowing, dry throat—dry everything
Saliva thickens or pools suddenly
Abdomen tightens
Hunger exists but is nauseating at the same time
Body curls inward without thinking
Mouth & Throat
Tongue feels coated
Taste turns metallic, bitter, or flat
Lips dry; licking them doesn’t help
Gag reflex hair-trigger sensitive
Breathing through the mouth makes it worse
Movement & Posture
Barely any movement
Sitting becomes slouching, then curling
Standing too fast triggers instant nausea/dizziness
Hands brace on thighs, counters, walls
Feet shuffle; balance checked constantly
Body seeks cold surfaces or firm pressure
Voice & Speech
Voice dulls or drops in volume (due to plugged nose and raspy throat)
Words come slower
Sentences trail off unfinished
Irritation spikes easily (even if people are being nice)
Delayed responses
Apologies come out automatically (“Sorry. Sorry.”)
NOT ALL “SICK” FEELS THE SAME
Fever (infection-based):
Comes with chills + heat
Mental fog, slowed reaction time
Body aches feel deep, joint-based
Thirst increases, appetite drops
Sleep is restless, sweaty, unrefreshing
Colds / Flu:
More head pressure, sinus heaviness
Heavy cough, sore throat
Heavy fatigue
Fever may be mild or absent (especially colds)
Chronic Illness Flares:
Pain is familiar but still intense
Less panic, more resigned
Symptoms stack (fatigue + nausea + pain)
Character may ration movement and speech
Recovery expectations are lower
Menstrual Cramps:
Pain pulses rhythmically
Heat helps
Nausea tied to motion and smell
Sensitive emotions (more prone to snapping, saying things they regret)
Body feels heavy
Stress-Induced Nausea:
No fever, no chills
Jaw tension, shallow breathing
Nausea spikes during stillness
Relief when distracted or moving
These differences matter. They change how a character reacts, not just how they feel.
So yeah, hope that helps. You don't need vomiting on the page every time. Sometimes being sick is feeling off-key, or sometimes it's quiet recovery. It varies. The symptoms are one part of your story, the rest is up to characterization and plot. Why is illness relevant to your story? Why is this character sick, and how is it different from another character? You can have a lot of fun with this.
Written by a human with a headache and too much experience lying very still, hoping it passes. If you liked this post, buy me a coffee... or cough medicine. 😔
