He blew everyone away when he dropped into the triple j Like A Version studios recently for an original and a cover, and today Allday reveals the sweetly dark video for his track ‘Restless’ ft. The Veronica’s.  The track is from Allday's upcoming third full length release Starry Night Over The Phone which will be released on Friday 12 July.

The 'Restless' video was directed and produced by Rory Pippan who was also behind Allday’s recent 'Lungs' video and has worked on multiple videos with Mallrat, as well as Fergus James and Carmouflage Rose.

Says Allday of the video: "I went back to Adelaide (my hometown) to shoot all the videos for this album and I wanted to capture the desolation and boredom of the place. Growing up in a boring place was fantastic for me because it sparked my imagination; where I'm from is really important to me. We used that as inspiration, and exaggerated a lot of the light and dark aspects of the place for this video."

Along with the video comes the announcement of a trio of in-store Starry Night Over The Phone album events down the East Coast starting on album release day, Friday 12 July. Details are:

Allday brought some surprise guests to the triple j Like A Version studios this morning in The Veronicas, Japanese Wallpaper and Simon Lam (Kllo). Australia’s most famous twins jumped up for their feature on new track ‘Restless’ (out today) and all guests stayed on for the goosebumps-inducing cover of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi’.

The Like A Version performances come along with the announcement of the release date for Allday’s upcoming third album Starry Night Over The Phone. Set to be released on 12 July, the 11-track album was recorded in Los Angeles and features a rollcall of Australian talent with the aforementioned The Veronicas on board for ‘Restless’, and fellow Adelaidean Lonelyspeck on ‘See You When I See You’. In unpredictable Allday fashion, Tom Gaynor aka Allday has announced his album title by answering a question asked by one of his loyal followers via Twitter who wanted to get a new tattoo dedicated to the the music she loves so much.

Hours later, true to her word Tash (@lil_baby_alien) ran out to get her new piece of ink (see below) inspired by the new album titled 'Starry Night Over The Phone' which will be out in 2019.

Allday also announced in the same tweet that his new single will drop on November 9th.

Emotive electronic artist/producer Kuren has announced his debut album, Melting Conceptually, set for release on June 29 via ONETWO. To celebrate the release of his longawaited debut, Kuren will be hitting stages around the nation in July on his Australian headline tour run.

Melting Conceptually has been a long time coming for Kuren, and he's ecstatic for the world to finally hear what he's been working on: "This has been the last 3 years of my life and I’ve never been more excited to share something.
