sons of anarchy is such a brilliant show but it’s also completely unhinged, because like how on earth do you go about explaining any of it. like yeah, it’s about this outlaw motorcycle gang but there’s also scenes of them on fairground rides and towards the end they work out of an icecream shop. they bash nazis and kill child predators but they themselves are also some of the worst people alive. a man with terminal cancer lived for the whole seven seasons, and ended up dying from a gunshot and not, yk. the cancer. the guy called happy is basically a disney villain but he respects his mom and aunt, so. arguably the most level-headed and grounded person is this ex-felon who runs a thriving escort business. one of the sweetest, most tender relationships in the show is between a transfemme sex worker who dabbles in blackmail, and this WILDLY unstable biker who worships the ground she walks on. herbal colonics were a featured plotline for a while. the clinic is called clear passages, you should check out their green tea and mint package if you have the chance
