it starts off them not knowing each other that well and hanbon really wanting to know will better but for some reason there’s just this wall and its not even like an ice out intentionally, will just takes a lot to warm up to a person and eventually their friendship starts to grow and they get more comfortable and small exchanges turn into deep convos late at night and they don’t even realize that they’re slowly falling in love.
its like such so highschool slowburn ass romance bc they never want to make the first move and will is scared out of his MIND hes misreading everything meanwhile hanbon Knows will likes her but she doesn’t want to rush him so she never says anything either. but even then, its not hurting them, they continue on as they always are to the point where they just start acting like a couple regardless. in the beginning of their crushes they’re giddy around each other, they blush when the brush hands, hanbon laughs too hard at will’s jokes but eventually it smooths out and they start holding hands just to hold hands and its not scary, they cuddle or share blankets, hanbon kisses will on the cheek to say goodbye and still laughs too hard at his jokes but they love each other they just never say it.
and they never do end up having a serious talk about what they are, will simply just works up the courage to kiss her goodbye one evening and the rest was history. no deep talk, no what are we, they simply just are. when people ask when they got together they say that night but they both know it was way before that, but it doesn’t matter because they’re happy.

i actually was in the discord talking about a bof fantasy au and i know fantasy au’s can be done so wrong so easily and most people dont fw fantasy and they prefer realism. me too bro. but idk in a world where the fantasy au is done RIGHT, the whole plot was gonna be that bof are all teen heirs to the throne before a villian kills all of their parents and theyre all thrust into the throne. basically. & they gotta work together to find out who tf killed their parents. BUT TO GET HANPO SPECIFIC,
now queen hanbon and now king anthony who have been friends forever and on the trek to find the perpetrator slowly realize they have feelings for each other as like a subplot….hanbon fights some goblin or something and anthony has to bandage her up and they’re at some lake or something @ night and hanbon is just staring at anthony like wow. he’s beautiful. is something in the air he’s fucking beautiful . also them wingmanning teen king willcoy just cause that would happen in EVERY universe
