- You met Ryan in the private section of a summer festival that he was headlining alongside his band. He kept stealing calculated glances at you from across the crowded room, filled with artists and people who were invited by major brands (people who couldn’t care less about the music). He couldn’t help but walk right up to you and spark up a conversation. There was something dangerously magnetic about you that made him eager to learn every single thing about you. He listened to you talk about yourself like he was listening to an incredibly immersive audiobook.

- in the beginning of your relationship, he’d constantly ask for photos of you if you were out and about without him.

“Can I have a selfie pls? Wanna see your pretty face ;(.”

- He went on tour without you once when your relationship was still fresh and immediately realized he never wanted to be without you ever again. He was way more irritable and found himself face timing you without warning because of just how much the distance was messing with him. When he was in a location with a drastically different time zone than yours, he’d set an alarm to wake up and have the opportunity to call you.

- he could care less if he’s in London and has an alarm set for 3 am just so he can call you!! It’s 8 am for you and he’ll never miss an opportunity to tell you good morning.

- his behavior early on in the relationship could definitely be seen as love bombing, even if he’s completely oblivious to the fact that he’s doing it. Your friends began to suspect his lovesick actions but hardly ever brought up their suspicions. He made you happy and that was the end of the story. I mean, what were they going to complain about? The fact that he skipped out on a family gathering to help you set up furniture for your new apartment? Or the fact that he gifted you a puppy and was insistent on calling it your “baby”?

- or the fact that he practically ambushed you with a family dinner at his parent’s house nearly a month into your relationship…

- Ryan isn’t really the type of boyfriend that restricts you from wearing certain things, but he’ll only allow you to dress revealing if he’s with you. If he’s unable to accompany you to an outing with your friends, you better believe he’s dictating what you’re able to wear.

“I don’t know about those jeans, babe, why don’t you try on the ones I bought you? They’re not as tight”. He doesn’t miss the opportunity to pat your butt as you walk off to go change, huffing in slight annoyance.

- if he notices your ass looks a little too visible in your skirt/ dress, he doesn’t waste a second before shoving his hand down your bottoms to make sure you’re not wearing a thong. Yes, it’s that serious to him.

- Ryan usually accompanies you to hangout with your friends, but not too often as he doesn’t want to annoy you. When he is with you he’ll hook a strong arm around your waist, keeping to himself as you chat with your friends. He wants you to enjoy yourself while he’s there ofc. When he’s not there, he simply keeps an eye on your location. It’s not that he doesn’t trust you, he does. He simply wants to keep tabs on where you are just in case something goes wrong.

- Sometimes his overprotective nature gets a bit overwhelming and you can’t help but act out of frustration. However, whenever Ryan and you have a disagreement, his family is always the first to know about it and immediately contact you.

- His brother will apologize for his brother’s behavior but “he’s just been through a lot and he cares. I don’t know where he’d be without you.” His sister will reach out to offer words of comfort, “ Listen, the two of you are good for one another. You’re good for him. He was a mess before- well y’know, you. He can be a bit much but it’s just because he cares. You know that.”

- There's a reason as to why they talk about his behavior with incredible indifference, they don't behave all that differently from their brother in their own relationships. To them, this is normal. This is what you do when you're in love.

-Even if the two of you were to break up and you managed to successfully avoid him, his fans would never let you forget the relationship. They'd comment under photos posted after the breakup and ask for Ryan, as if it was expected for him to be with you at all times.

-His band's subreddit would be BOOMING after the breakup

-He'd never let you leave him so easily, though, and you know this. He'd leave hundreds of voicemails begging to see you again and to talk everything out "like adults". He's not above showing up at your place unannounced. Funnily enough, his sister's fiance would contact you to offer his own version of comfort.

"I know you guys are going through a hard time right now, and I understand how you feel. I mean, his sister can be a bit- y'know...much. But it's best if you just try your hardest to get used to it. They're stubborn. She is stubborn."

-Long story short: A breakup would not go over well!

-Ryan is the type to follow you to the bathroom. This man does not care!! He cannot leave you alone istfg. He'll also sit on the toilet while you shower, telling you all about his day and what he has planned for the two of you.

Rebecca & Joshua love being spontaneous when it comes to the way they gift give, it leaves you constantly on edge around them but in a good way. You'll be woken up by the both of them pressing soft kisses onto your slightly warm skin as Joshua says, "c'mon wake up, sleepy head. We need to be at the airport by 12." With the amount of times they've surprised you with randomly announced trips, you've become used to being in an entirely different part of the world one day and across the sea the next.

They're both extremely good at knowing exactly how to comfort you when you're not necessarily feeling your best. Despite how much they're known to joke around and wear shit eating grins, they can easily switch from practically being a comedic duo to a carbon copy of your therapist in a split second. Joshua often times has to excuse himself from the room for a quick moment because he can barely contain his overly violent tendencies when he sees your eyes well up with tears. You, his baby, his angel, were hurt so badly you're fucking crying. For now, he'll allow for Rebecca to rub his arms in an attempt to console him and he'll hear not listen to her whispered pleas for him to quiet down. Not now, she says, not in front of her will you act out.

He'll cradle your head against his chest as Rebecca runs her manicured fingers along your tear stained cheek, cooing at you to tell them what happened, what's on your mind, who do you want them to hurt? Joshua would cook you your favorite dinner whilst Rebecca fixes you a bath filled to the brim with cherry scented bubbles. Rebecca wraps your body in a freshly washed robe as she softly whispers words of reassurance into your ear.

"it's going to be okay, baby. You know we'd never let anyone hurt you without consequence, right? I'll make sure you know how far we're willing to go for you."

They're constantly taking you shopping despite the fact that they're well aware you have an incredible paying job and can take yourself on shopping sprees. Do they care? no! If anything they hate, hate, HATE the thought of you spending your own money.

Joshua brings up the idea of all three of you getting matching tattoos, and if you're a bit hesitant towards said idea he's not afraid to persuade you in some way.

Rebecca LOVES baking and would drown you in never-ending affection if you show any sort of interest in her hobby/wanting to help her. The two of you have made fruit sandos, chocolate croissants, apple pie, tiramisu, eclairs, moka, strawberry shortcake, croffles, etc.

sex toys are greatly involved in your sex life and you couldn't help but shiver when Joshua first introduced them to you in the bedroom. "I know what my body likes, so does she. Let us make you feel good, baby."

I recommend for you to not tell them if a friend or family member of yours offends you because they will immediately tell you to cut them off. Even if it's a seemingly small dispute that you had with a friend, the both of them take this as an opportunity to blow it way out of proportion, seemingly getting angrier than you & making that friend of yours sound like the reincarnation of Satan himself.

Rebecca will throw a fit if you tell them that you'll be heading out with friends alone. Joshua and Rebecca are similar in the way they constantly overthink about all of the dangerous things that could happen to you if you go out without them to be with your group of friends. They'll let you go of course but not without trying to find every little excuse to get you to stay home, and don't forget about the look of pure disdain they receive from Joshua when they arrive to pick you up.

Every time the three of you cuddle in bed it ends with you being spooned by one of them with soft, fleeting kisses being planted onto your neck as the other kisses you leaving you vulnerable to feeling nothing but the sloppy wetness of their slithering tongue, an occasional 'pop' being heard after they finish suckling on your bottom lip.

Rebecca & Joshua have a shared notebook that is overflowing with Polaroids, sticky tabs, messy writing and dividers. What is in this notebook? basically an entire composition of writings about you, little habits they've noticed you have, your favorite films, favorite songs of yours, candid doodles Joshua has done of you & Rebecca, places you've mentioned wanting to visit.

They go ALL OUT when it comes to holidays but then against everyday that you spend with them feels like a holiday. They'll arrange for cute little photo shoots to happen on Christmas, Valentine's Day, Halloween. And of course you have to wear the outfits they picked out for you on the day of.

The both of them absolutely love doing sickeningly sweet domestic activities with you obviously. The sight of Rebecca and you cutting up fruits for breakfast makes Joshua's heart burst, confetti n all like he's a cartoon character. They love going grocery shopping with you, cuddling up with you on the couch, listening to Rebecca read lines from her current favorite book, going on picnics with nothing but delicious delights in your basket, adopting a pet together, creating a fort for your movie night, renting movies, going to bakeries at 7:00 am to get ahead of the line, baking together, the two of them spraying your perfume on their clothing.

You already know that the paparazzi are making a shit ton of money with the intense amounts of cute photographs they have of all three of you.

Honestly, some may find it as a surprise that the three of you haven't been the laughing stock of an snl skit as it's the early 90's and polyamory isn't necessarily...something you see all that often. But, the truth is you're applauded by many people in the entertainment/music industry and no one has anything negative to say as neither of you are 'shoving' your relationship in anyone's faces. Several artists/celebrities have been interviewed and spewed nothing but words of admiration.

"I mean, all three of them are incredible artists and definitely know how to make a successful record. So, all three of them together? Beautifully deadly, mate. I'm not sure how the three of 'em aren't constantly butting heads on creative ideas."
