Once Buttoned, Twice Shy

…so it has been four years since newest adaptation of The Lorax and the explosion of a Once-ler fandom that soon followed…

and well…

I think…I may be starting to lose interest both in the fandom and my Once-ler ask/rp blog.

I feel really bad about it as I have made quite a few friends through this fandom, and in fact this fandom is what first introduced me to tumblr…

But even with that being the case, the drive I originally had for this fandom isn’t what it used to be.

I do not know if I will be leaving permanently, but I feel I need to at least take a break. I do not know how long.

I’m really sorry if this upsets anyone, but with my interest in this fandom deteriorating and having things I need to take care of and focus on in real life… I just feel my rp blog needs to go on a hiatus.

I’ll still be around on tumblr from time to time, just not roleplaying.

Mother Nature shifts her stare to Heat Miser.

She holds her own, and pushes back against him. A cheshire-cat grin spreads across her face even though her eyes glare daggers. Why was he so irritating!

“You’ve lost since day one, Heat Miser! You and your Fiery stubbornness and your Flaring temper! The Ice Age; the year of the drastic change from Summer to Winter; and even now in this room! It’s been your own doing! There’s been only one thing you’ve EVER won over me,” Lady Snow’s eyes soften, though the rage is not gone and it masks her change.

“But you have yet to claim such a victory!”

That damn smirk of hers! The fact that she practically never lost it drove him to the edge of an anger so forceful it encroached on madness.

His entire body now aflame, he shoves her away while slipping his foot to hook around her ankle then strikes at her wand again, throwing her to her back on the floor. Raising his cane high above him, the gem surrounds in a dangerous white-hot flame as Heat prepares to bring it down on Lady Snow.

“HEAT MISER!!!”

Buckets and buckets of downpour hit Heat square atop his head and soak his form, putting out his fire.

Heat is stilled and then ever ever so slowly turns his head toward the voice.

Mother Nature. And she looks angrier than he has ever seen her. Oh he is so dead.

Vines shoot from the floors, lock around his arms, and drag/throw him to the opposite side of the room, holding him there.
