Speaking of Dorian, I wonder how it felt for him seeing Rook’s companions inexplicably shake off The Blight like a minor cold after he had to watch his best friend Felix die slowly and in profound agony of the same disease only a decade ago.
The Blight was the very reason The Venatori even existed. Corypheus existed because of The Blight. Dorian’s own mentor only joined The Venatori because Darkspawn had killed his wife and left his son dying of Blight, and so desperate was he to save the only family had had left that it drove him to utter madness.
Dorian left Tevinter and joined The Inquisition, in essence, because of The Blight and its corruption threatening to destroy everything he loved.
And that’s only one character. The Blight touched everything and everyone. The Blight was all. The Blight was death incarnate. The Blight was so terrifying and unstoppable that even the Dreadwolf lived in fear of it. A single drop of Blighted blood in your system, and you’re as good as dead.
But sure, Rook’s buddies can just slop around in Blight goo like kids in rain puddles and then shower it off. No bid deal. No real consequences. Just grab some wet wipes and you’re all good.
Fuck this game.
The more I read about this game, the more I think the game itself is blighted and another piece of my soul shrivels up.

Please. This story is so messed up.
My Bullevelyan longfic with a twist™️ has received a long-awaited update… I give you Chapter 11. It took over a year to get this one done because I’m literally afraid of the next two chapters. It’s gonna get so bad. But the good news (I mean maybe?) is I’ve already written quite a bit of the next few chapters, so updates should be coming sooner than a year. Yikes.
To all of you who have kept reading, kudoing, subscribing, commenting: you are equally responsible for this mess being on the internet! I cannot thank you enough for your support. You are who I’m writing this for… you and a broken woman whose story deserves a happy ending.
Hey so uh
Chapter 12 went up last night. It’s not as polished as I wanted it to be, but it had taken three weeks already and I am determined to keep this story moving now that I’ve gotten somewhat back into writing. Especially now that September looms.
Next chapter: Dorian and Aevrienne read the letter and decide to confront whatever is waiting for him at the Gull & Lantern in Radcliffe. Her words and actions surprise both of them and a bond is forged. But things never go well for long in this story…

Wow, barely 5 months later and Chapter 13 is up? What? Is the perma-procrastinator in my brain starting to fail or something?
In all honesty, this chapter was proving nearly impossible to finish in its original form and I had to scrap it and start over. The good news is that a lot of what I tried to put in Chapter 13 ended up in Chapter 14 and maybe even 15, so with all my phalanges crossed, it should be even less time before those are up.
Thank you to the absolute darlings who have left kudos and keep leaving comments. You just… you have no idea how much I treasure you all.
Pneumonia, ear infections, emergency surgeries and those are just the highlights of the past three months.

Elgar'nan two games later: "Skill issue"
Do you think the Dragon Age fandom is going to die in several years? Do you think there's still a very slight hope to see another game or even new side medias ? Regardless of where I stand on DATV, my heart sinks at the thought that we may never have anything again. Especially as DATV felt like the final arc in a bigger story. Like if we were robbed of the First Arcs. In the Artbook, the ritual happens much later in the game.
It may shrink in size, but I don't think the fandom will die completely. Look at the Elder Scrolls for example; there is a game fandom that has been surviving for even longer without any new releases. And even if we don't ever get new DA media, we still have what we have, and there's nothing preventing us from enjoying it as it is. Or from new people discovering and enjoying it as it is.
Dats right. Dragon Age Fandom is BEST FANDOM! As long as there’s breath in my body, Dragon Age will have a fan. My kids are even Dragon Age fans!

The DA Transcripts Website is Live!!!!
It's alive!
But it's rough.
You'll likely notice that much of the site is full of links that go nowhere or lead to dead-ends. I haven't had the chance to reformat much to fit the site yet, but wanted to get it live and running!
Please be patient as I continue to work out the kinks in my webdev and html skills. In the meanwhile, I've made a very small, basically read-only discord where I will continue to post updates on the site's progress and you can contact me via submission form. Please use these to send QA feedback! These early stages are the most critical for me to fix problems such as accessibility or ease-of-use.
What does this mean for the future of the blogs?
They'll still be here, and I'll still update them! I'll still respond to asks and keep an eye on comments/replies, but the formatting will no longer be optimized for tumblr's layout, as it would be a lot of work to make both (and formatting is what has always taken the longest). I'll keep tumblr in the loop on site updates as well, and if you don't like discord, you can follow the DA Transcript bluesky for more frequent news!

Even though Davrin dwells on the world’s troubles, and the threat of monsters, and his belief that he could only be of help by giving his life… Assan only understood Davrin’s actions.
From watching Davrin, Assan learned, “We help others. We protect them. We feed them. We nurture them.”
