His eyes narrowed over at him as he jutted out his bottom lip, and gently, he punched his shoulder. His lips though were turned up into a grin, obviously not mad at all. They never had once gotten mad at each other, and that sure in the hell wasnât going to be the thing that made it first happen. âShe just needs more practice, I think. Sheâd probably be better if she could actually focus on remembering her lines.â It really wasnât that hard if people practiced enough, at least not for him. Huffing, he stepped out of the car. âWell, probably still would have been a better show than what were gonna end up putting on.â His eyes flickered over to him and he rose his brows. âWhat happened to cheap, Ollie?â
Ollie just continued to grin, even as a fake groan left him at the punch. It was a playful one, and he knew it. Theyâd never had fights before, and werenât about to start now. âMaybe, but I donât get what sheâs doing with her time then. I mean, donât take a lead role if you canât practice for it.â He and Teddy always practiced together, so Ollie was a little spoiled as far as that went. He felt a rush of pink tinge his cheeks at his bestieâs muse. âThatâs for sure the truth. Weâd knock it out of the park.â Opening the door to the cafe, he let teddy go in first as they sank into their favorite corner booth. âEh, I changed my mind; Iâm starving. And it is a Saturday night. Gotta treat you on at least a decent date,â he joked, eyes scanning the familiar menu.
