the first symbol of issac’s relationship with his father is sitting in the backseat. if condi had chose to sit in the front, issac would have found out much quicker his father wasn’t alive. but because of power dynamics and a lack of trust, he sits in the back. i forgot if there’s any physical abuse in their relationship but being in the back keeps him safe and disconnected. it can also be wrapped up to his older sister sits in the front, so he sits in the back, but that’s no fun. and also wouldn’t make sense given his sister isn’t in the car. if he had sat in the front, he might’ve been in a more crowded space where he could get safety. instead he’s in the woods.

the second showing of their relationship is how issac does not look at his dad for a while. eye contact with his father scares issac. eye contact might lead to physical contact. if he felt safe with his father, he might have realized the heterochromia sooner.

the third symbol is how quickly issac chose to accept his dads death. he took the first chance he could to run away. this could be chopped up to the fact that he knows lui’s grandma will not stop until will is dead, but you would think he would hesitate a little. it’s almost as though this has happened before.

a lot of these things could be shredded up to condi knowing this is a horror podcast and playing as such (similar to how quickly lui believed the rest of the upp about his grandma) but even if it is that, i think similar to that one guy on youtube who analyzes pixar films and how they’re all connected, even beyond what pixar themselves know, I know more than condifiction. checkmate.
