To the conscience of the world,
To every person who believes that life is a right for all,
I appeal to you... I appeal to everyone who can hear my voice, to look at us, who are fighting hunger with emaciated bodies and weary hearts.
I am one of the sons of Gaza, and this is my message to you from the heart of hunger and deprivation.
My family hasn't eaten in days... no food, no clean water, no electricity, no basic necessities of life. We sleep to the sound of bombing and wake up to the pain of empty stomachs.
My children ask me, "When will we eat?"
And I find no answer but my silent tears.
My mother is sick and has no food to sustain her body.
My brothers are young, their faces pale, their eyes searching for anything to satisfy their hunger.
Oh world, we are not asking for the impossible; we just want to live.
We want a bite of bread, we want to stay alive.
I send you these words from the rubble, from above our bombed-out home, from a merciless reality...
Save us. Don't let hunger kill us silently. Don't turn us into news stories.
In the name of humanity, in the name of mercy, in the name of innocent children...
Help us. Save my family from hunger. Save Gaza.
