" Look out for me, Tsuki !! “ Lev sounded his enthusiasm in a soft yip before the silver haired fox ducked through the bushes. His hair bristles as he quickly summoned magic, calling to the near by spiders of the wood.      ‘ Make a home of those clothes, my friends !! ”  He sang, swishing his tail left and right as he guided them in. Caught up in his own chant, Lev almost overlooked the sweet aroma, blinking when he catches sight of a piece of under clothing. Pretty and embroidered- it belonged to a girl for sure. “... !! I want this ! “ Lev’s pupils were near dilating as he prowled toward his prize. 

It was a gnawing need in the back of his head, scratching with increasing intensity to settled over him like a second skin. “Lev…” Tsukishima breathed his name like a chant with each kiss, wanting to hold on to this feeling and make sure Lev felt just as good.

Lev breathed low into the kiss, a quiet sigh as he presses himself flush against him. Close, warm. Safe. Each time Tsukishima called his name, the heat pooling in his belly only continued to pool as he littered kisses against his neck, his fingers dipping into the collar of his shirt, tugging it away to reveal the rosy skin underneath it. Tracing against the skin there, he suckled a bruise into his shoulder, muffling the sounds leaving his mouth as he rolled his hips down against him.      — “ Kei. Can I touch you, Kei? Can I see you? “ He breathed, fingers already tugging tugging at the hem of his standard issue pants. This wasn’t the time to be completed naked, although it mattered little for him. Should something happen, they had to be ready. He mutes the voices of worry in his mind in favour of pressing his lips against Kei’s, kissing him deeply as he palms him through the fabric. 

“Thank you for finally joining us, Father Vincent,” Claudia said curtly, turning away from Lev as she spoke, her voice once again cold.

“ Oh right.. I guess I’m good for going through crowds, huh? “ 

          “It’s cold…” It’s no wonder. Sweat having gathered on his backside was likely chilled from the air condition by now, but could that be the only reason for him shaking. He wasn’t sure, but he wanted to believe it was.

Lev handled his paper work as quickly as he could, reciting particulars he knew about the other boy from memory and nodding quickly as the nurse briefs him of the procedures and waiting time. He returns quickly to revert to Hinata, frowning when he returned to the room.      — “ Hinata-san...? “ He queried softly, looking for a blanket before he wraps it over him, adding his own jacket for good measure. He looked like he was entering shock, this wasn’t good. “Hinata-san, do you want to tell me how you’re feeling?” Lev extended his hand, holding his in order to provide him some sort of grounding. 

   when told to drink his soup, he nodded some and pushed him-    self up into a sititng position again, grabbing at the bag luka     had brought he pulled out the bowl, and opened the soup. he    took a deep breath, inhaling the smell slowly with a groan. ❝ this    smells so good.. thank you, брат .. ❞

“ You’re welcome. It does, doesn’t it? Having bland food really changes how normal food tastes.” He contemplated quietly as he leaned against his brother, laziness finally sagging in after a long day of school.      — “ Did you know? Kuroo-senpai took Kenma-san’s PSP after he nearly got caught in one class. He was grinding levels for some sorta contest. It was funny to see him mad.”

Tsukishima froze. He hadn’t thought about that. In fact a side from escaping together, the most he’d done is worry if they’d be able to get out together. Or would it only be one of them? But this thought? This line of thinking was some how much more terrifying. Cupping Lev’s face, Tsukishima gently tugged it up until he was the one kissing Lev, promises pouring from his lips in between each one. “Yes. I won’t let them separate us. You’ll stay with me. We’ll find a place.” Lev was the one protecting him in here. Tsukishima would protect Lev out there.

Lev’s eyes flutter shut as he leans into the kiss, holding him close as he kisses him back gently, agreeing softly which each promise. How lucky he was to have him. His mind may have been broken, his memories before this nothing more than phantoms and shattered pieces never to be placed together in whole. But Kei was constant, Kei would always be here.       — “ I love you, Kei. “ He murmurs against his lips, deepening the kiss. Closer, he wanted to be closer. “ We don’t have to leave now, I’ll make you feel good. “ He promises, littering breathy kisses against his jaw and neck. This wasn’t the time or place, but he didn’t know better, he would never know better.

Nekoma Atsume

“Lev.” He answered just as quietly almost afraid it would break the peace they’d found. This time Tsukishima was the one seeking out Lev’s lips, kissing him tenderly, a stark contrast to the environment they dealt with daily. “Can we stay here?” An impossible solution. They couldn’t stay in the vents forever. Eventually someone would get wise and start messing with the temperatures or worse follow them in. For now though it was their safe haven. A place where it was just them.

     — “ We can’t,” Lev’s response was quiet, hesitant as he pressed his forehead against Tsukishima’s. “ Not for much longer, we have to rest up and go. “ They had to escape, no place was going to be safe for long after all. HIS fury was unforgiving, relentless, he would truly destroy when the moment was right and Lev knew. “When we go, when we leave here, will you stay with me? May I go with you?” Lev queried, canting his head. His eyes were glassy, fearful of his response. They were not family, would they be separated? Lev held on to him a little tighter, burying his face in his shoulder. 

            There’s a tilt of his head, sweaty locks sticking to his skin from the humidity and dried blood. There’s a gash near his brow causing crimson tears to form as it drips into his left eye. Making no effort to stop Lev, dirtied hands wipe the blood away and they linger there covering his face so he’s not seen in this shape by anyone other than Lev. “…It hurts,” he whines, doing his best to keep the tears at bay. Everything hurt. There wasn’t a muscle in his body that wouldn’t feel sore the following morning.

Lev found himself in silence as he continued to walk to the clinic. Every question he asked had not been answered or acknowledged, he assumes the worst as he tries to soothe him gently. “Be strong, Hinata-san. We’re almost there.”  A nurse notices him approaching the glass doors of the clinic and opens it for him. Lev ducks his head as he eases into the clinic, quickly kicking off his shoes. The nurse directs Lev to the medical gurney where he lowers him slowly. “ Hinata-san, I’ll handle your particulars.  You stay here, okay?”
