good ask!! i don’t particularly have a sweet tooth myself, so this took a fair bit of thought.

sam is very much an apple crumble type of guy. he’d make sure that all the apples he chooses are the best of the lot he’d grown on his trees. he’d have his own very specific recipe, absolutely top secret. i don’t even think frodo would know.

frodo is simple- he likes a good old victoria sponge. he savours all the strawberries in the middle, amidst all the cream. although, he prefers it fresh- absolutely not stored overnight.

merry likes a trifle. a good trifle seems to always be prepared at the very last minute (as simple as they are), yet it’s always a staple in a good party meal. merry can make a MEAN trifle, despite its simplicity. other hobbits reply on him to bring it at every hobbit celebration there is.

pippin, on the other hand, enjoys profiteroles. like who wouldn’t love a bunch of small pastries, all stacked in the shape of a small pyramid?

does he know frodo is like ten years older than him?
