I thought I heard a rumor that there would be a new season of Cruel Summer finally. Is that true? It's probably true, and I'm, like, seriously behind times, and you guys are probably already done filming it, but I'm late to hear everything interesting, but if it is true, that's so wonderful because I loved Cruel Summer so much. I know you weren't in season two, but I really hope that if the rumors are true, you'll be part of season three, because I love seeing you on my screen! // @oholt

those rumours are true! it is back in development, and i'm returning as kate, which still feels a little surreal to say out loud. i'm so excited because i've missed that world more than i ever expected to, and getting the chance to revisit her story feels incredibly special. we haven't secretly finished filming without you knowing, though, so you're not that behind! thank you for saying you'd like to see me back on your screen. i've got such a soft spot for kate, and i think the fans deserve to spend a little more time with her, and we all obviously thought there was more to her story that we could tell. tell me about you! anything new you're working on? travelling? on vacay?

Now, that's always nice to hear. If I hadn't already have made these commitments before we started dating, you could have easily persuaded me to have stayed with you. We'll be together soon though, that's something I can promise and who knows, maybe this distance will make the reunion that much sweeter. Still, it felt nice to be surrounded by so much love and have you right next to me. I don't know how I got so lucky or what I did right to have you agree to be girlfriend, but I'm very glad it happened. You looked radiant. it has been pretty busy but i made sure to have days off in between cities and that's made all the difference. even so, i find myself on those days not wanting to do anything but with some good places coming up, i'm going to fight the urge to be lazy. i have july 15th open so as long as you guys aren't dark that night, i'll be there. have they? that's so amazing to hear. it's exactly what i was hoping for. of course, there's always a personal need to up the last one. are you the same way with your shows?

Its the first thing I do regardless day or night when I get back to the LA area is go down to the pier. It's a tradition for me. I mean its not against the la to be at the pier at 2am I looked it up. So I think this dude was just being rude to meet a quota. I'm Noah.

broadway? congrats! how long is your show running for? is this your first time doing broadway? appreciate you for always giving me grace. there's so many conversations happening in a day that it's a miracle i'm managing to remember everyone's names. i've been taking it easy these last couple days. enjoying a bit of time at home in la. also missing the crystal clear waters of a beach. pools just really don't hit the same.

yes! so exciting. tickets are on sale through october 18th, but i don't know if i'll be in it the entire run. it's my second time, the first was as roxie hart in chicago, and that experience will always have such a special place in my heart because it was my first taste of broadway. i was learning every single day, trying to take it all in without getting too overwhelmed. this time feels different in the loveliest way. i completely understand. i'm glad you've been taking it easy and getting some proper time at home. la's not a bad place to recharge, although i completely agree with you, a pool just isn't the same. i hope you get your beach fix sooner rather than later! looks like you've earned it.

a bore ? never. but in my world, i'll always support you being self-obsessed. even if you either weren't talking about it nearly as much as you thought, or i'm just exceptionally good at missing gossip. kidding, kidding. no, you're the cutest. and i'm glad you can enjoy it properly this time though. it really does come across when someone genuinely loves what they're doing, and i think that's what people connect with most. performers are all quietly having mild heart attacks backstage ? that's oddly reassuring. and it somehow makes the whole thing feel a lot more human. that said, i still think i'll leave the spotlight to you. i'll happily do my bit from the audience ― enthusiastic applause is definitely more in my comfort zone than remembering lines while hundreds of people watch me panic. i think we make a pretty good team that way. we can switch roles when it comes to something i'm actually good at.

see? that's exactly why i keep you around. everyone needs someone who's willing to encourage a healthy amount of self-obsession every now and then. but i really am too enthusiastic, i'm just grateful it never reached you or you'd have been sick of me. i think that's the nicest thing anyone can say about a performance, really, that they can tell you're genuinely enjoying yourself. it's funny because no matter how long you've been doing it, i don't think the nerves ever completely disappear. but we might be having a tiny crisis backstage, who knows... we like doing tiktoks so the nerves fade. and alright, deal. that sounds like a pretty perfect arrangement to me. but now you've made me curious… if we're swapping roles when it comes to something you're good at, what exactly are we talking about? i need to know what hidden talents you've been keeping from me.

ahhh, that's really sweet of you! it's a great night every single night, i wouldn't trade that feeling for anything! comfort movie?! this is the first time i hear that since it dropped, people liked the mix of horror and comedy but first to tell me it's their comfort movie! i always love when a film finds its people. from a horror lady to another, i have to say, i loved you in until dawn and hellraiser, as a fan of horror those two rank in my top 10. it made me even more excited to see what you do next.

Miami is great and being on stage is one of the greatest joys of my life. Yet, somehow, I keep thinking back to my sisters wedding. well, if we're doing confessions, then here's mine: i miss you just as much. i'm so happy you're having the best time on stage because i know that's where you're happiest, but selfishly… i'd quite like to steal you away for a little while. and stop it, you're going to make me emotional. i loved being there, celebrating your sister and in law with you. i remember looking over at you that night and thinking how unbelievably lucky i was to be the one standing next to you. i'll tell them i adore that idiot more than i can explain. hey, i'd still climb aboard in a heartbeat if it meant getting to steal a few hours with you. you'll just have to settle for me blowing up your phone every chance i get, because i refuse to let you forget how loved and how missed you are.

i've been asking the universe the exact same question! i'd happily let you sneak me into landman. if ainsley suddenly discovered she had a long-lost sister, i don't think i'd ask too many questions. or maybe we should stop waiting for the stars to do all the work and start putting it out into the world ourselves.

girl, don't give people ideas! i'll just have a really hard time saying no to a radio show. well, every medium scratches a different creative itch, so if i get the chance to bounce between stage, film, and tv, i'm going to take it every single time. especially if we're talking about broadway specifically, wouldn't ever in a million lives say no to that. you should come to a show! we'd even give you the special treatment.

not quite, twitter lied to you this time, and it will probably not be the last. i have wings, a skeleton, sparkles, and the word "always" added to my first ever two tattoos. and no, neither of them was for a role. they were personal decisions, which somehow made them feel a lot scarier than if someone had just told me i had to get them for a role. i don't trust myself to have your level of commitment. i think i'm keeping myself in check for now. i'll admire your ever-growing collection from a safe distance while i continue pretending i have excellent self-control... said the woman with six tattoos now. how many do you have? or have you already lost count?

who is your favorite character across all worlds of fiction? could be a tv show, book, or movie. any form of media is welcome! i tend to be one who has many favorites and ends up not able to decide on one so i become obsessed with one and then obsessed with another. it's a blessing and a curse. @oholt

i love this question, but i also change my mind every few months. i don't think i could ever narrow it down to just one. if i had to throw a name into the ring, though, i'd probably say tyrion lannister from game of thrones. he's endlessly fascinating because he's clever, flawed, funny, all at once. or daenerys... just because. that said, i'm exactly the same as you! i'll become completely consumed by one character for weeks, and then another one comes along and steals the title. it's a vicious cycle, but i think it's a nice problem to have. if you had to say one, who would you say?

So, I was out on the Santa Monica Pier at around 2am last night and a cop saw me and stopped me. He asked me what I was doing there and I told him I had just gotten back into town and grabbed a bite to eat. He told me that I needed to leave and yadda yadda yadda. So I left. He followed me all the way to the 101. LIke I didn't do anything wrong. Is it a crime to go for a walk at 2 am after a 5 hour plane ride? @limelightblvdstarters

I'd like to think the officer was just making sure you got home in one piece rather than assuming you were up to no good. Although I have to admit, being escorted after doing nothing more suspicious than going for a walk is pretty funny. I mean, I can't say that after a five-hour flight I'd be doing that. But I suppose sometimes you just need to stretch your legs and convince your body it's actually back home. Next time, though, maybe save yourself the police escort and go for the walk somewhere that isn't quite as deserted at two in the morning.

You know, I actually think so. Our paths kind of crossed a few years ago when you couldn't do Cruel Summer and I ended up doing it instead...
