Sydney being able to cook the most over the top, delicacies of meals and then saying that theyโre nothing like what Matthew makes is hilarious, and since Jedidiah is the only one who seems to think that Sydney truly is cooking better than Matthew, likely a nod to the difference between the old world and new one, but also, with the food as a metaphor for love symbolism found throughout the entire show, it just clicked for me that it also means that Sydney can cook the most extravagant meals, and no one will truly appreciate it, and he can never eat it himself, so heโll never know what it tastes like. Sydney can give so much love, but no one around him will ever appreciate it the way that he needs, and he can never love himself, because he cannot eat anything but buttered bread, only the simplest things, he cannot handle any more augh
why are why are you breaking my heart in a whole paragraph.. I love Sydney so much, and the symbolism in The podcast is insanely good. this podcast really is life changing
