I've been cold with my mom since the morning 'cause when I asked if I can go to the brit foyd concert she said no 'cause "it's late in night" which is bullshit 'cause it ends at 11:30 which is the curfew of any 13 in america.
and today when she finally realized that I'm upset she said flat out that even tho I'm 19 years old I'm never gonna be aloud to go out at night "'cause I'm a girl"
I hate this so fucking much, I hate being treated like a child just 'cause I'm female, my brother used to go out and not come back till the next day when he was 17 but she didn't give a shit "'cause he's a boy"
this is utter bullshit, I'm a college student who can't even go to a fucking concert.
I was so fucking angry. She moved out of her parents house when she was 22 and went to fucking russia when she was 23, but I can't even go to a concert with my sister and friend.
so I told her flat out that when i finish college I'm moving out and she's never gonna see my face again 'cause she ruined my teenage years for me and now she's gonna ruin my college years for me too.
I've never been anything but a good daughter, I had amazing grades in school, better than she or my brothers could dream of, i went to a college that I hated and was too difficult 'cause she can't afford to send me to a private college and study something that I didn't want to do just because it bring good money.
I read, I have better knowledge in everything more than her, I've never been shallow to chase boys like my friends did when I was in high school, I've never smoked or did drugs, I've always been polite and witty and made her and everyone in my family proud, like when my principle and teachers said to her "you have amazing daughters, smart and polite", I've never lied to her or talked back.
I could have been allot worst.
