“Should I be preparing syllabi for the fall semester, yes. Am I? No. Instead I found it more beneficial to break open a bottle of wine and binge some netflix shows.”

“I don’t do well when I’m sick. Being basically banned from the office these past few days has not done well for me. I can just imagine all the messes I’m going to have to clean up once I go backin.”

“So I started getting stuff ready for classes this year. Lesson plans and stuff for the classroom. I’m interested in seeing if I get another lecture this year from the highest ranking female official about ‘appropriate’ work attire for someone of my… build.”

“I think the time has come for me to get another tattoo. The real challenge now is deciding on one from the hundreds of ideas I have in my head.” 

“Moving is…expensive. Fuck. And I swear to god, if Adrian shows us another bougie ass apartment, we’re going to be down a roommate.”

“Well, apparently I just lost my job to a dog, which means I can 100% cancel my return ticket home and live here in Hawaii for the rest of my life.” 

So, a week from Friday is opening night. but guess who is still sitting getting braids in her hair just so i won’t have to get them done during hell week

“Real talk though, this trip is just what I needed to recharge. I can just kick back, relax, and not have to worry about anything. Well, anything other than a shark eating Isaac and Petra, but of that’s my biggest worry, I think I’m doing pretty good.”

“So, this Hawaii trip…day one and it’s already showing me that Petra and I are super different. I just want to catch some rays, drink some alcoholic drinks of coconuts and what does this girl want to do? Give me heartattacks by signing up for all sorts of intense activities. Hang-gliding, jet skis, she’s insane.”

“So, trying to convince my mom that I should be allowed to try out for the wrestling team my senior year. She’s said no like three times already, so pretty sure it’s time to go ask my dad.”

“So the allergen test wasn’t as bad as I expected. The worst part is that my back still itches like a bitch.”

“Do people really call it the walk of shame anymore? Honestly that’s just ridiculous cause honestly, I didn’t feel any shame, not one bit, so -”

“Really need some suggestions for going away presents for a boy who is impossible to shop for. I did consider getting him one of those candy penis lollipops - and might still - but I should probably get him something serious.”

“Mark my words, I am never going on another blind date as long as I live. Of course, technically I didn’t end up even going on one tonight as he stood me up. I’m just over the awkwardness and annoyance.”

“So, was meeting with the faculty supervisor of our paper in their office today. Nothing serious, at least that I expected, just general overview of plans for this semester and presenting works that we’ve been donig this supper. He then wanted to discuss some of my ‘more out there’ leads and highly suggested that I let certain stories die this upcoming semester unless I wanted someone to take issue with them. So, yeah, that’s been my day. What’s up?”
