thinking about ryland grace looking back on his life- every triumph, every failure, every connection with others he missed and every opportunity taken and lost, and every time he may have felt lonely in the world- now with the context of knowing that rocky had been by himself on blip-a for the entirety of grace's life, and with all the circumstances and vastness of the universe, there was no real guarantee they ever would have met in the end. dont let people headcanoning colt and ryland as twins fool you. you might think its a really fun and silly thing but now im teary eyed and thinking about brothers who were already near estranged having no way of ever seeing each other again
