im not good at coming up with super unique headcanons or storylines so while im getting sucked into this coltland fall guy au with starstruck on the side all i can think to offer is ryland grace hammered at karaoke singing "youre so vain" by carly simon alongside jody's "against all odds" and everyone pretends to agree when he says it's not aimed at anyone in particular at all

thinking about ryland grace looking back on his life- every triumph, every failure, every connection with others he missed and every opportunity taken and lost, and every time he may have felt lonely in the world- now with the context of knowing that rocky had been by himself on blip-a for the entirety of grace's life, and with all the circumstances and vastness of the universe, there was no real guarantee they ever would have met in the end.
