It's so funny to me that Colm's dad voice worked on Kaz dirtyhands Brekker. Like this boy has killed and done all sorts of awful things but when a father figure scolds him for fighting he looks away guilty.
In Crooked Kingdom, it mentions that Jesper had grown up speaking Zemeni and Kerch, but his father's Kelish was reserved for his singing. Do you guys think this is because in The Wandering Isle slaughtering Grisha for medical purposes was normal, and Colm wanted absolutely no part of that culture in their household, because of Aditi? Because other than that, I don't remember Jesper having any distinguished culture roots. The only part where it's mentioned he's Kelish at all is because of his gray eyes.
Maybe I'm WAYYYY overthinking this, or I'm forgetting some other moment, but I found it interesting. I'm sure there's some aspect to Kelish culture Colm would be proud of, but so far I feel like we know very little about the country.

I reread chapter 24 of crooked kingdom and I can't suffer with the scene between colm and jesper (also because I feel personally attacked for certain things) and then scream and laugh at what comes next with jesper, wylan and kuwei
