the one (perhaps only) thing i’ll always like about growing older and maturing is the never-ending opportunity to develop and refine your personal taste in pretty much anything. fashion, food, music, literature, art, design, furniture: the older you get, the more knowledge, insight and experience you acquire and it all adds up to a treasure of source material to create a new you from. carve, prune, distill, expand, sculpt, evolve - you can recreate yourself always and aging gracefully is all about endlessly enriching yourself through that recreation.

Things you don’t need to feel guilty about: eating, how you look, standing up for yourself, relaxing, sleeping in, taking a mental health day, saying “no.”

you’re going to find people that won’t leave. you’re going to find moments and hobbies you’ll keep going back to. you’re going to make a life worth sticking around for, i just know it <3.

It means that life is not about climbing a social ladder or becoming rich or famous or anything…. It’s about a comfortable bed and surrounding urself with people u love ….. literally why live for anything else than kindness and happiness and love. Literally what else is there . It’s only a shame how inaccessible it can be ….
