Can anything ever live up to the #hype? Well, no. But Samsung has gotten very close, by taking almost every risk and learning from every mistake (Note 7, lol) to create one of the most beautiful pieces of technology today. So let's read it's spec sheet: Snapdragon 835, Adreno 540 GPU, 5.8"/6.2" Infinity display, 4/6 GB RAM and 12mp rear camera. On paper this is an extremely powerful phone... And it sure is. With a layer of TouchWiz over android 7.1, the phone still runs buttery smooth. The display is absolutely beautiful and can only be appreciated once used in person. It's great to see Samsung included expandable storage, ip68 certified resistance and wireless charging coupled with a USB-C i/o port. I've been personally using this phone for a month now, and I have no regrets. Samsung have pulled off a great product. Bixby on the other hand... Is okay. It's not as good as Google Now, and is still in its developmental phase, but the button itself can be remapped using a third-party application. Of all the phones I've used, this is one of the best. Of a rating, I'd give it a 9/10. I definitely recommend it to those looking for a new phone or phone contract.

Huawei Google Nexus 6P Graphite 64GB. I’ve been using this phone for about 3 weeks now, and it’s been nearly a flawless experience. It has a great battery, giving me an average of 4 - 4.5 hours of screen-on time, and a ridiculously good standby time. Coupled with the new USB-C port, it delivers a fast charge, 0-100 percent in 90 minutes. The 5.7″ Quad HD OLED display has been amazing, during the night it can be dark enough to sooth the eyes, and it gets bright enough during the day for decent visibility. The new fingerprint sensor or Nexus Imprint, has been extremely reliable and a seamless experience. The front facing dual loudspeakers are perfect, good clarity and extremely loud and is perfect for media consumption. The camera is good, it has a brilliant lens and a good laser auto-focus system, but the Google camera app lets it down. It does take great photos but the app itself is very buggy and slow with not enough camera features, and at some points I have to restart the phone just to get the app working. Android Marshmallow is perfect with it’s hardware and this phone runs buttery smooth. Everything is snappy, fast and the 3GB of memory can handle any task. Games are crispy and clear and media consumption is great. This phone has a strong aluminium build from Huawei, and this graphite colour looks perfect. This phone can be quite hard to handle in one hand but it is still possible, with extra caution. So I bought the 64GB version, which on the Google Store costs AU$999, but I managed to buy it for only AU$640 on a discounted price. In conclusion I would recommend this phone to everyone. It’s beautiful, powerful, has a clean software and worth every dollar.
