“I’ve been there usually leaving my bullpen around 11 just to finish up paperwork or even a call too. That’s right Officer Noah Armstrong sir. So you’re the guy that sits in the courtroom and gets the bad guys to confess even more and put them away? God, I don’t even want to think about that possibility. He works just as crazy shifts though cause he’s a firefighter. I hope everything works out with your girlfriend though.”

“You have a grueling job that takes you away from your love too? We’re pulled thin as it is and considering that I’m studying and shadowing a detective because that’s what I’m striving to be it’s hard. But, to be able to spend more time with my lover I need that.”

“Why not. I haven’t been to one before and I mean what’s the worst that can happen? Im not going to jeopardize my relationship by doing anything wrong. Just a guys night out.”

"Zane, I promise that Ira won't get upset for us hanging out and catching up. But, if he knew that I was having some snacks without him then he might make me sleep on the couch. You're amazing. I always make sure that I got snacks for him when he comes home. So he will enjoy that.

“He’s not going to be mad with you. I promise, I’ll let him know that I’m hanging out with a friend. Ira will definitely be grateful for the snacks when he gets home from his shift.”

“How about both of them? They both sound like great options to me. Really anything to get my mind off missing my man.”

Noah rolled his eyes at Beau when he chuckled at him. He took a sip of his beer and played with the bottle running his fingers up and down it. “Working. You know officers have the long hours and even trying to become detective is hard work. Lots of studying and tests too. But then again I do spend all of my free time with Ira when he’s off and we got the day to spend together.”he said with a smile. “How about you? I heard that you got a man.” Noah arched an eyebrow at him. “No I’m not ashamed to bring him here or afraid. What I did when Ira was gone those months was something different.”
