Give Lilly Wachowski Her 10 Fucking Million Dollars To Make A Movie What The Fuck Is Wrong With You You Stupid Cunts Like Hello She Made The Matrix Are You Dumb? Do You Not Like Good Shit?
Also inbetween The Marix and now they made this
Not that I dont like the movie. I do. But it did loose $100 mil.
Also Sens8 was amazing but probably didnt make back the budget. I wanna see more from them as well but I understand where hollywood is coming from here.
She, she she she, not them, are you fucking stupid?
Not only are you misgendering a trans woman director, you dont have a fucking clue how movie production, budgets, and studio approval works. Maybe you don't know what the fuck you are talking about, maybe you can just shut the fuck up and stick to posting fandom AU bullshit.
Sorry. I was unclear. I meant they in reference to the sisters, not in an effort to misgender them. If english had a female second person plurel I'd have used that.
I'll happy delet this thread if you want? Deleting sometimes makes it worse so like whatever you recomend in this case. Sorry I upset you.
It's fine, you can delete the posts if you want, but I think you aren't absorbing the point. You and many others in the comments aren't absorbing the point.
Whether or not Lilly Wachowski 'deserves' to make this movie is not really the issue, she is obviously an extremely capable director and knows how to make a movie.
The issue, is that cis male directors are allowed to put out abysmal dogshit movies year after year, they get chance after chance to make their dogshit movies and never EVER face the kind of stonewalling that Lilly Wachowski is facing in regards to this movie. 10 million is fucking PEANUTS and she can't even get that.
There are idiots in the comments talking about whether The Matrix is good or not, if a cis man made that movie they would have a golden ticket to make whatever the fuck they wanted for the rest of their career. Like, what the fuck are we doing here.
Nolan made a dogshit reactionary adaptation of the Odyssey and it's probably going to make bank and get accolades despite it all. I don't think "directing capabilities" is the sole factor for determining film success. Perhaps there is some sort of systematic bigotry that affects trans women or something at play here
