               ❛  it’s crazy how much i love you.  ❜  sometimes he just looks to pam in awe, offers that little whisper of his normal voice, practically breathless with how beautiful she looks, and today is one of those days. god, he’s a lucky guy.

     Each morning she WAKES UP still in a state of disbelief. Never before did she think this level of HAPPINESS was possible -- was something SHE could ever achieve. This is her life -- & she couldn’t be more grateful. Jim Halpert was a game changer -- still IS. It’s funny how much can change when one finally opens their eyes to see what’s been standing in front of them all along.             “ -- shut up.” Cheeks heat up, brightening to a DEEP RED. She’ll never get used to it -- the way he looks at her. If only she could always see herself through the lens of his gaze. “I love you SO MUCH.” 

     Astoria offers up a grin, but she softens after a moment. “Fine. I’ll wait. Can I tag along and do my homework while you nerds paint stuff? Maybe my presence will inspire everyone and you’ll all discover that you’re the reincarnations of dead Renaissance artists because I’m there, being everybody’s muse.”

      “Astoria Greengrass -- center of the UNIVERSE. I’ll never feel joy ever again, UNLESS you’re present. I PROMISE.”     A laugh bubbles up -- clearly she’s teasing. She adores Astoria -- dramatic tendencies & all. It’s their DIFFERENCES that keep their friendship interesting -- it’s NICE that there’s someone around to drag her out of her shell. “ -- of course. We could ALL use a little inspiration -- & you can always try painting too, if you want !!”
