One of my coworkers left their notebook in the break room, so I left a little note in it for them. I don’t know them, so they won’t recognize my handwriting.

“Dwight just gave me a 20 minute lecture on the importance of emergency preparedness in case of a zombie apocalypse, and he was wrong about EVERYTHING. He must pay.”

  how can you squint all the way from philly ?? 

1) their morning routine is so in sync. they probably brush their teeth at the same time and jim will just reach over & hand her the tube of toothpaste & one of them always makes the coffee while the other makes toast & just yeah – they’ve got it down to a science. and pam probably also helps jim with his tie, even though he doesn’t need the help. she just does it. 2) they actually – have friends outside of the office that they hang out with & do things with. some are people they knew before they were together. others are parents of kids they’ve met though taking their kids to school / the park / whatever – but yeah, they have a pretty normal social life, whenever they can get a babysitter, which pam’s mom takes care of a lot of the time.3) they both really do their part in taking care of the kids, but they both can sense when the other needs a break. for pam, she’ll head off to the garage-turned-art-studio & jim will take care of all child-duties for a few hours. when it’s jim that needs a break, oftentimes pam will actually take the kids out to the studio with her & work on arts & crafty things, so jim can have some downtime.4) the two of them always try to surprise the other. whether it’s some big jim-esque gesture, or something smaller. it’s just a way to keep the other one smiling & that’s the most important thing to them – to be happy & for their kids to be happy. that’s really all that matters.
