“Up-close.” She retorted with a smirk. “I did say that, yes. But you’re the cutest brunette I’ve seen around campus.”

“Well, that’ll happen soon enough then.” She said with a wink. “Y’know flattery will take you anywhere.”

“That way you can come see my skills up-close.” She teased with a smile. “Good, you should. It’s not just anyone I break out my smooth talk for.”

“Up-close, huh?” She asked with a quirk of her brow. “You did say for cute brunettes. There’re a lot on campus, I mean. There’s you.”

“Like honestly I don’t even need a storm to stay inside doing nothing.”

“True, I definitely agree. But, hey at least I felt a little productive.”

“Next time you should come say hello.” She grinned. “Only to cute brunettes.”

“I will definitely do that.” She grinned with a nod, “I feel super duper special.”

“You’ve seen me play? — Wait, are you the cute brunette I’ve seen watching a few of our practices? I’m pretty sure I could figure out how to do it alone, but if saying yes to help means we get to hang out, I’m all for it.”

“I’ve been to a few, yeah. And I guess I can be that cute brunette you’re talking about?” She chuckled, “You’re definitely one hell of a sweet talker.”

“For a sorority girl I don’t think I’ve ever crafted more than a few times in my whole time being here. —Which kind of makes me sound bad because I’m an art major. I’m always too busy with football—- at least that’s always my excuse to get out of it.”

“I mean I don’t really blame you. You’re pretty great at it. But, if you need help crafting I could try my best. Even though I’m prone to hurting myself doing it.”
