“are you trying to say you’re already tired of my company auden?” jaslene asked, feigning offense, the expression on her face matching, before a smirk eventually pulled at the corner of her lips. “we could always head to a club downtown there’s usually plenty of excitement. though if we do i’m gonna have to get changed cause i’m definitely not club ready right now.” her current outfit a little more casual than the type of attire she’d normally wear on a night out. 

“yup! that’s exactly what i’m saying. i’m afraid our friendship has officially been terminated.” he playfully replied with a wide smile, chuckling afterwards. if anything, jaslene should be the one saying that as he was the one who invited her over with absolutely nothing fun to do. “sounds like a plan,” he was just about ready to get up when he saw jaslene’s lips were still moving and he caught the rest of her sentence. “oh, do you want to go shopping first?” auden asked her. he would’ve offered up his own clothes but they were made for men and wouldn’t fit her.

calvin had placed his legs on the thighs of the male as they let out synced sighs of boredom, trapped within the male’s penthouse. “you’re telling me, i mean we’ve done nothing for the entire day and you’re only just telling me you’re bored? what even goes on up there in that brain of yours?” he mused, leaning forward and tapping against his skull. “but please, get us out of here and into somewhere more active, i beg!” his words had been laced with a strong cry for help. 

“uh…rude! i don’t recall you complaining about that before.” he feigned offense with a hand on his chest, a scandalized expression on his face. while auden usually had a backup plan in mind for whenever he grew bored of staring at the four walls of his apartment, he hadn’t done it this time as he was still getting acquainted with st. abery. “well, that’s why i suggested a club or party. so do you want to go to one or not?” he asked with a chuckle, lightly hitting calvin’s leg.

“ is my stellar company and witty banter not enough for you, auden ? ” iver asked, in jest. whenever somebody suggested an idea, iver usually took little to no convincing before he had his coat on. there wasn’t much you couldn’t persuade him to do, not because he’s gullible or naive, but because he’s just as easily bored as auden apparently is too. “ let’s go downtown. ” he suggested, downtown st abery was always pulsing with life and chaos, no matter what time of day it was. “ i don’t have money for a cab, though, so we’ll have to get the bus. ”

he took a moment to pretend to think about his response before he said it. “it isn’t, actually. you’re awful company. why do i hang out with you again?” auden teased, chuckling afterwards. he was already aware that he had no one else to blame but himself since he was the one who had invited iver over to hang. he knew he should’ve thought of something much more fun to do, but he couldn’t think of anything off the top of his head at that time. “sure! you cool with what you’ve got on or do you want to change,” auden asked before he waved iver off at his next words. “nah, don’t worry about it, we’ll take one of my cars.”

“You’re such a baby,” Zola concluded with an amused smile on her lips as she watched him. It’s been only two months ago that she first met him on the roof while she was practicing yoga in the morning; and despite them coming from different backgrounds it didn’t stop Zola to befriend him - after all, she was always the type to befriend anyone who was nice enough to her in return. “I mean, we could - but you know I don’t drink,” she shrugged it off as it was the most normal thing in the world; which it was, at least to her, since she’d been avoiding it ever since she became a professional athlete.

“yes, a very bored one who’s sick of being inside all day and wants to get out.” he agreed, nodding his head. auden would let zola call him whatever she wanted if it meant that it would get her to go out with him. he swore if he had to look at the same walls for the rest of the night that he would go insane. “so? you don’t need to drink to go to a club. we can dance and enjoy the music, maybe even chat with some people if we get lucky.” auden had been to tons of clubs before without being the legal drinking age and still managed to have a good time. “what do you say? will you go on an adventure with me, zola?” he asked hopefully.
