Odpad Kreativity

Or at least, he was, until about three years ago, when he was sent off to do mandatory Work for the Dole at a volunteer organisation. He'd done a lot of Work for the Dole in the past, of course, and like most people who are forced to do a shitty job under the threat of starvation, was neither enthusiastic nor particularly useful. But in this particular place, he was given a job that he could do better than anyone else (he was one of 2 men working with a legion of elderly women, and the only person able to easily haul around the heavy goods that the organisation works with). He quickly found himself with a job he could understand, he could see the clear utility in, and that his coworkers greatly valued him for. He started arriving on time every day, putting in the effort, getting shit done. He started caring about the results. And when his Work for the Dole time was up, he kept volunteering.

If the manager or whoever is in the higher position falls into the category of Theory X they see their employees as lazy and responsibility-avoiding which fits to the first half of the original post.

In Theory Y the manager believes that employees love doing their job and thus they give them more trust and responsibility so they could be more creative or clever with solutions.

I feel unsafe in my own home, not sure if or when it's all going to be taken away from me after threats made by my father. who's decided to pull the rug out from under my whole family, we're fighting how we can, but i want to get out of all this. We're trying to hopefully handle this with legal means, stops his threats in it's tracks, but my living situation feels deeply unsafe and it feels like I'll need to back up everything and run any day now, my sleeps been a mess, and I've been a mess of anxiety while this all goes on. the support has been helping me get some piece of mind, but i'm REALLY looking to ge the hell out of all of this drama that's been my life and ge tas far away from that man as possible. he's hurt me throughout my life and I'm so tired of it, I just want to move away, do something else. start my own life without this looming shadow over it. you've all supported a ton, and I'm beyond greatful. you've spread the word, and it's been wonderful for keeping me safe in the moment, but any further support will be actively put towards me getting the fuck out. if everyone who saw this donated a single dollar, i'd be practically half way to my goal,
