in honor of pride month i bring you my most insane, crackpot headcanon, that Ben Tennyson is aromantic.
Now yes, he has had girlfriends in the past, but we can't forget how he managed to accidently break up with Julie over the phone and not realize, which leads to my first point.
Ben isn't a very good boyfriend, as his relationship with Julie showed. When going to the movies with Esther, she tried the "oh wow its so cold in here" and Ben, without taking his eyes off the screen, just handed over his jacket, so I really don't think he was locked into the fact that he was on a date.
Speaking of dates with Esther, she reveals at one point that she has seen the same Sumo Slammers movies seven whole times, which I take as her doing the equivalent of dangling keys in front of Ben to get him to go on dates with her.
And overall, I just don't think he's all that into most of the girls he meets (now if that's because he's actually into boys, that would deserve its own post)
