Cringey ass fanfiction that is so nauseating, it makes me wonder why the hell I began writing in the first place

Really emotional fanfiction that I pour my heart and soul into because I make my character relate to me in an emotional level, that writing her is so much easier for me.

Also them: I fucking hate kids. Like, if one was in front of me, I'd push it down like in that vine.

She was beauty. She was one of those girls you'd never want to lose. She was everything I had ever dreamed of.

The town was dark, her and I out after hours. The curfew didn't apply to us. We stumbled onto one of the parks. The one we played at during primary school and hid from the class because they were too obnoxious for the both of us to handle.

The plastic slide and metal bars were the only two things that were still standing. The swing set was thrown across a tree, the bent metal shining with the light of the moon.

She dashed ahead of me and climbed up the bars. I followed, as she pulled herself on top of them.

We both sat there, looking at the town we had both grown up in. Absolutely destroyed for no reason. I reached into my jacket pocket and pulled out something I knew she'd like.

"Is that...?" She brushed locks of her jet black hair away from her hazel eyes.

"Yes. It's the plushed animal from when we were kids."

"Dani, where'd you find this?" She took it from my hands.

"I kept it. I didn't want anything to happen to it. Especially since--"

"Shh." She put a hand up as the crunching sound of Autumn leaves started.

I slipped down the bars and started running. She quickly followed suit, catching up with me pretty swiftly. She turned down a one-way street between the old stores.

We paused to catch our breathes. She looked at me and smiled.

"That was fun." She whispered.

"Yeah?" I raised an eyebrow. "I don't know when running away from someone became fun, but whatever suits you." I tied my violet hair up and sighed.

"Well, you just have to be chased more."

"That doesn't sound like my idea of fun."

"I could make it a bit more fun."

"How?--"

She smirked and pushed me against one of the exteriors of the store. Her lips met mine. It felt... Right. Like two pieces of the puzzle that finally got put together.

"Now, for me to have my fun." She said. A shiny object was in her hand.

*Boom*

I felt a piercing, sharp pain in my chest. "W-What..." I felt blood on my hand. "Kira, you--"

She walked away, not giving me a backwards glance.

Thirteen years ago, I met her. I bonded with her. I found trust in her. Thirteen years ago, I was not bleeding out to death over someone I loved. She was my first crush. The first person I told everything to. But she was the last person I'd expect to do this to me...

I panicked, dropping the pills onto the ground rapidly. I hid my arms and stood there.

"W-What were you doing?" He leaned on the frame.

I turned away and sighed.

"Why are you up so late?"

"I just had a headache, so I was getting some ibuprofen for it--"

"So why are your arms bloody?"

"Oh? Are they? I didn't know!" I tried to not break down.

"Lana... Were you trying to kill yourself?" His voice cracked.

I nodded, tears welling up in my eyes. "I'm... Sorry. I know you probably don't want to be with me anymore... I'm sorry for wasting your time--"

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. "It's okay... It'll be okay. I promise."

I began crying. "Is she really gone...? Is my mom really gone?"

He looked at me, wiping my eyes. "...I'm sorry."

"It's too soon. I'm not even 18. She can't be..."

"Look at me, okay? Yes... I know you're upset, but you have to stay strong. Lana, baby, promise me you'll stay strong."

I looked down at my arms. "I... I don't know if I can..."

"Well, if you ever feel... In a slump, please tell me. The last thing I want to do is lose you when I just got you back."

"Can I tell you something... More like everything, but can I?"

He nodded, sitting on my bed. I reached under my bed and grabbed the notebook he had given me 6 years ago. "You kept it...?"

"Yeah..." I opened the first page. "Where do I even start?"
