Obvious Stereotype

I learned from the pain. Maybe I learned to well, I’m scared, now that I know more pain will come. Afraid I won’t be able to deal with more heartbreak like this. I cry over things that haven’t happened yet and miss people that are still here.

Seeing you smile cures all the heartbreak I’ve ever felt. Hearing your voice warms my heart. Your arms around me break down my walls. You make me who smile the way I did before the world hurt me.

In my mind my hands have travelled every inch of your skin, crossing borders and passing every mark.
