Ok, so, this is actually only one of the ideas I had for the last prompt, meaning I think I might post another artwork for the same prompt tomorrow (if that’s ok).

Yes, the flower did come back to haunt Julie.

Yes, Wally will be watching the entire time.

Yes, my hands hurt from working on both pieces of art for the prompt at once.

I got extremely lazy, so, instead of full colors, just have this. This…thing.

So, like, I tried to shift it more towards Julie and Wally instead of the Joyfuls. I really tried 😔

Tradition

Idea/head canon: Julie likes taking Wally to apple orchards to pick apples every year because it makes him brighten up (apple lover) and she adores his happy expression. 🍎🥹

I’ve head cannoned that she can sense breaks in patterns, like any pattern. I mean, she IS meant to teach about patterns. Example: Sally is NOT dramatic in front of a neighbor but is a mile away or something and Adel KNOWS.

Basically, the day that Frank and Julie find that weird flower (I joined the fandom later on, about a year ago, so I’m making Adel exist a little later on in the show) Adel senses the unusual fight between the two and how Julie is unable to help a flower. She goes looking, since she’s curious, but only finds Frank just closing his shed where some people think it’s the flower inside while others think it’s Julie. To keep things canon for the actual plot (for now) Adel doesn’t open the shed, but spots Frank’s journal (yes, the same one he says he lost) on the ground and wants to give it back to him. She takes it/picks it up. But then she gets caught in a lot of stuff, she finds disturbing things in the journal, about the neighbors, even witnessing (not major, just unusual) things happening to the neighbors, and just everything in general. She debates telling the others, asking Frank, but is also worried about why no one has said anything yet. More patterns keep breaking, and she doesn’t know why. They never broke before.

It’s actually from a while ago, so…yeah
