I can't post my Z.A.T.O review on Steam,so im posting it here.

This review is going to sound pathetic. That being said. This game has made me feel more seen than any interaction with someone i have ever had. Asya's view of the world,along with the things that happened to her remind me of myself in a way i can't quite explain. That feeling of loving the world,the universe for being beutiful,as it inherently is is something i can resonate with deeply. Asya's love for the very world that she is apart of,her persevernce and stubbornes(i dont know if thats the right word) for still loving the world even as it is erasing everyone she knows is majestic.

I have never had a game fill me with so much hope and reassurence before. I'm not quite sure if the ending is supposed to be happy or bittersweet,but to me it feels like staring at the end and welcoming it with love both for it,and what has come before

I think what a lot of people who think Mikoto is good DID rep are forgetting is that he's a fictional character. If there was a real person in his situation and offhandedly mentioned that his parents got divorced assuming that has to do with how he developed DID.

However, fictional characters do not work the same way. With a fictional character you need to expand upon that trauma,how it was,how it made them feel, whatever. A fictional character only has the multitudes they show

Getting angry at ppl who think Mikoto isn't good DID rep due to the fact we were told he was a good kid from a good family and saying "oh but his parents got divorced,that's traumatic". Yeah,it could be,but the mv didn't tell us anything about it. Didn't show us how Mikoto felt when his parents got divorced or how his behavior changed. If you want to give a fictional character a disorder that can only be developed in early childhood then you need to actually show it. You can't just say "oh yeah his parents got divorced". It doesn't work like that
