But what he did wasn't an attempt to maximize his revenge, as a victory! The moment he picks up those pages isn't about tormenting that rat, but about tormenting himself. He was torturing himself by torturing her memory, perhaps just to feel something. There isn't a shred of satisfaction in his eyes, only pain with every word that comes out of his mouth, and then... nothing!

This will probably have emotional consequences for him.

That’s why I keep insisting that the fandom need to support content creators who engage with IWTV/TVL, regardless of whether their opinions align with yours or not (and obviously when I say "opinions" I mean about the show themes, not hateful content) The same goes for not scaring away people... engagement is one of the show’s biggest advantages.

Saying we don’t need certain types of fans, the whole gatekeeping mentality, doesn’t pay the bills, the more people talking about it, the better. We all know the show TV ratings aren’t great, so growing online presence and building fandom loyalty are our best weapons to keep our vampires alive.
