Some Ironjawz I did for a friend not too long ago.
My custom handmade Malevolent Moon for my Gitz army is completed! To make this cursed object I started out by using a Halloween skull resin mold I found in a hobby shop. I then built up the moon shape first with a wire armature and filled it with air dry clay.
I covered the clay with miliput to get the shape more final and make it more durable (pic 2).
I then used green stuff to sculpt in the details of the face and build up some of the skin areas (pic 3). Then it was a case of painting.
This is one of my first forays into hand sculpting and it was an absolute blast!
Painted up something a little different recently. And Ork Howitzer from Kromlech. My aim is to play Bolt Action using some Rogue Trader Ork models for more Weird War vibes.
Model is from Kromlech

I took some time off painting this past few months because I moved house. Now I'm in my new home and all set up, I'm back at it!
Finished these up to get them ready for home games of Warcry, DnD, or new AoS. Sometimes really enjoy painting scenery to break up painting lots of little minis. Can really go messy with them.
You just came up on my dash, and I've got to say, your Stormcast Eternals are incredible, I'm in love with the paintscheme.
If you wouldnt mind, could you tell me what paints/techniques you used for them, because im heavily considering the purple/dark metallic vibe for my own Eternals.
Thanks so much! I'm really glad you like my paint scheme! I did them as a practice run for my Lethis City of Sigmar scheme and I refined it a little over the course of doing it. More than happpy to share my process with you:
Prime all black.
Airbrushed Led belcher silver all over not caring to be neat but making sure the armour is all covered.
Then Used Vallejo Black dip wash (but brushed on) as an all over wash on the armour. Now this wash is heavier than nuln oil and leaves a bit of a dirtier finish (which is what I wanted) but a good black shade wash would also do.
I then drybrushed the armour in downward motions with Led Belcher silver to catch the edges and make it less dirty in places where too much of the dip wash settled.
I then layered on Army Painter Shining Silver on bits like chest plates and the edges of things.
For the purple parts, do these steps after all the silver:
Base with Barak-Nar Burgundy
Nuln wash the Barak-Nar Burgundy parts
Layer Barak-Nar Burgundy over the top, leaving recesses black and dark, to begin to bring definition and shape to the area you're painting.
Layer 50/50 mix Barak-Nar Burgundy with Screamer Pink (this was like 2-3 thinned coats), continuing to build up the shape of the area you're painting.
Layer Screamer Pink.
Then highlight 50/50 mix screamer pink and Vallejo German Camo WW2. This is to be done sparingly and if the transition is too harsh, wash over it with a watered down Screamer Pink.
Rust on the armour: I watered down to a wash consistency some Doombull Brown and applied it on parts of the armour where rust would appear. Like in gaps and around bolts.
Hope that helps, happy painting!
Don't care that they're going to Legends, that won't stop me from painting and enjoying them on the tabletop. Say yes to #legends
Having some fun with some Stormcast Eternals. I never used to like them until I painted a few models, and now I'm kinda fond of them. These are a few of my faves.

Been painting alot of old miniatures lately. A bit of Gorkamorka, bit of Rogue Trader, and the best model ever made the Screamer Killer Carnifex (oh metal one!)
Some snooty Vampires for my slow grow Soulblight army. Really love these miniatures. For me Soulblight are my painting project army, with not a huge intention to really play them.
Do you have any armies for any games that are just painting projects? Let me know!
Kitbashed my own Corpse Cart. No idea why the inspiration struck me but it did and I just went for it. I don't even really have a Soulblight army but I guess this is the start of it.
I have begun work on my Cities of Sigmar army by painting a model from the game Warmachine (Hammerfall Siege Engine) to use as a Steam Tank. I wanted to practice the colour scheme a little with this one before starting on the rest of the army proper.
Ice to see you...
Mantic Snow Trolls I'm going to use as some Yetis for a thematic Ogor Mawtribe army.

Glory to the Grandfather the Glottkin are done! Had some fun with the base on this one, even though it's mostly covered up with the towering monster.
Had some fun painting up these minis for my Star Wars Legion army. I chose the Shadow Collective purely because I wanted to paint some Mandos.
