"I think thereβs like a sort of βhomeβ feeling that we have with each other where itβs like, I feel very grounded working with Sam and I hope that he feels the same way as well. Thereβs something thatβs like, whatever chaos going on around us, we can rely on each other. And weβve neverβ¦ something that feels really rare about it is when youβre an actor, particularly men, some people can be so competitive and it all becomes about them and what theyβre doing. People literally talk about winning a scene. And me and Sam have never worked together from a basis of competition and I think that that is like, thatβs what feels so special about it because weβve built something together. And then when we get back together again and start working, then we have this kind of really specific collaborative support system for each other. So no matter how emotionally taxing or chaotic something is, we can look at each other, on cut, and either check in on each other or just laugh. A lot of time we just burst out laughing like, what are we doing?"
