The Drawfee Magical Girl-Sonas episode was really fun and I had to draw some fanart of it. I just couldn't get the idea of Jocoba working so hard to tempt Nathany with an orange slice. Open in a new tab for full resolution and all the details.
I'm happy with how this came out.
I did try to make this quickly, but I decided I wanted to have fun with all the rendering.
I did struggle with the background, but I feel like I found a good balance of somewhat grounded with them on a bench, but with a shojoish tone background.
I don't usually do lineart this thin, but I still like it and it does the work I want it to.
Yall I finally watched The Elephant, and the behind the scenes on it. And the beauty and humanity of creating and making is hitting me.
The bleeding moon sets at last, and the Hunt comes to a close. Happy ten years to Bloodborne and to the Old Hunters DLC!

It's exciting that we're getting a new drawtectives arc and new outfits are always fun.
For this I like to imagine that Gma is standing on her tip toes even with the platform sandals. I had fun being indulgent with imagining York getting into punk and having fun with really thick smudgy eyeliner and eye shadow.
Compiled some basic information I know about drawing fat characters for beginners since I've been seeing more talk about absence of really basic traits in a lot of art lately.

I'm really proud of the way I worked on this. I had fun translating the simplified mii outfits to less stylized bodies. I did well in achieving the details I wanted with the line art, without zooming too much and worrying that it was 'perfect' down to every pixel. Additionally I nailed that hand coming forward! And all the other hands are solid. This past week has been really good for drawing for me, and I've had a few days where I've just been in the zone for several hours.

Seeing @yamujiburo on my dash always brings a smile to my face. Seeing her DTIYS for this inspired me to go ham and have fun with big chunky cell shading and fun rim lighting.
I'm already missing Frieren Fridays. In the meantime I decided to color one of the bonus illustrations of Serie & Flamme. I had fun trying a more traditional and softer coloring style.
I was going through my old files and realized I never posted this here. Ed has knack for flare and I thought he'd be great on stage. I still do.
I was and still am very proud of blend between the linework and the digital painting for image. Particularly all the metal rendered in the stage lighting.

The color wheel challenge has been good to push myself. I enjoyed planing out the poses for everyone. The only rule I gave myself was that each character had to be from a different show. I have the whole wheel and each section over in my red bubble, which is why you'll notice a bonus ladybug. Zag doesn't like fanart of there stuff so I subbed mars in.
