The Whanganui National Park is a unique place, where nature provides surprises in every corner. waterfalls are falling from the banks, birds are singing everywhere, and at night the clear sky shows thousands of stars to shine.

During the 5 days trip there are no civilisation, cell phone coverage or wifi. Among the river, there are small camping areas, with water supply and a shelter to cook. This expedition surely a fantastic experience, 

At the foot of the mountain lies the Dawson falls area, which is the most visited part of the Mt. Egmont National Park. There are plenty of walks in the surroundings, provide scenic view and beautiful natural environment. The routes winding around native forests, small bridges over the streams coming from the top, and fress waterfalls.

A Māori legend says that Taranaki previously lived with the Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu mountains of the central North Island but fled to its current location after a battle with Tongariro.

Once there were four sisters, but now only two of them are standing in the sea, thanks to the water and tectonic erosion which are continously forming the landscape. The rocks only reachable at low tide by foot, otherwise the waves dominate the area.

The magnificent White Cliffs located in the east side of New Zealand not far from the Three Sisters. The area only accessable during low tide, when a narrow sandline appears which allows to hike close to the rocks. Walking along the black sand beach, you can see small waterfalls, mysterious caves and rocks in any kind of shapes.

The region is also home of the highest waterfall of the North Island. Wairere Falls plunges 153 metres with two steps. It is surrounded by native forest with remarkable rimu and kairu trees.

The Redwoods was established in 1901 as an experiment to test the suitability of different native and exotic forest species for commercial planting, Whakarewarewa is home to a large number of native plant species as well as giant Californian Redwoods

The Omanawa Falls located in the western part of Bay of Plenty, next to Touranga. The waterfall is only accessable from an adventureaus track, but the beauty of the small lake and the cave behind the falls definitly worth the route.

The streets of Mount Maunganui become more popular during the summer. As the weather becomes warmer, the ocean side popularity increases. The regio is one of the most visited holiday destination for the Aucklanders, and for the others, who are looking for some fun time next to the ocean.

Rotorua located on the center of the North Island, famous from its geothermal activity. In the region there are many hot pools, which are perfect places for resting after a long hiking in the forest around it. 

One of the highlights of the park is the Waterfall Track where you can see glow worms after dusk.

The summit of this iconic landmark provide a breathtaking panarama to the costline of the Bay of Plenty and to the endless Pacific Ocean.

Starts from the Mount a white sand surf beach stretches as far as you can see. In the seaside surf schools waiting for the beginners. Further away the area contains lot of awesome houses, some of them for holiday home, others for permanent use. 

The land is covered by native forest, reserves and several streams. This area were traditionally known to local Māori as Te Wao Nui o Tiriwa (The Great Forest of Tiriwa).
