I know my mind is a house that hasn’t paid its electricity bill in months. I know her hair is beautiful. I know her waist is an hourglass. I know you see the sun when she smiles. I know her words make your day ten times better. I know her mind is an art gallery filled with plenty of light. I know I’m the type of girl people get close to, but then they realize they should keep a distance from me. I know she makes you realize that good people do exist. I wish I could be more like her because now she has you, and I’m just here buried deep under a hefty pile of insecurities.
