Despite it all, we're still chugging along.

Tomorrow will mark five(!) years since this blog's first post, and five years of almost uninterrupted daily posts about linking characters in video games to Ryu from the Street Fighter. That strikes me as a lot. It probably is a lot.

And so, as is now firmly a yearly tradition, I will be taking a week off from regular posting and returning July 20. I will also remain available to answer any lighter questions, as I always am.

I'd like to use this space to thank @dorkshove, @owoshabae, @borntobeanartistsstuff, @froglord999, @kamayana, @oswald-the-moonsprite, and @crimsondestroyer for their post submissions over the past year, @kchasm and @skapokon for their contributions to Ryu Numbers writ large, and anyone else who's cared enough to send in a correction or update. To the extent that this blog has been anything more than some nerd posting about trivia, it's only been possible because of people like you.
