Do you guys think Éponine stood outside the Rue Plumet and watching Cosette and Valjean come home each day from their morning walks and wonder what it was like to have someone who cares enough to listen to your every word even when you had nothing important to say? Do you think Cosette saw that young boy outside the gates and wonder what is would be like if she could wander around Paris as she pleased? Do you think they both felt guilty for wanting something they could never have?
