Why you should stop everything and go stream Fantasy:
They used Beethoven’s Moonligh Sonata and managed not to make classic music lovers want to kill them.
They make tons of vocal layers, and if you don’t know what those are, go listen Bohemian Rhapsody and you’ll understand how complex it is.
The vocals start with one of the main vocals (Jaehwan/Ken) singing something way too low for him, but he sang it perfectly. Yes, that’s how amazing this song is vocaly.
It starts almost too slow, and the build is musicaly amazing.
It has trap and slight hiphop sounds, but it also has some epic/instrumental influence and it never sounds like it is too much.
It has an amazing line of strings.
The chorus is almost too high, but it makes an amazing contrast with the low notes we have before.
The vocal production is amazing. The first verse sounds like Ken is singing right to your face, then they make the voices sound like they are at a concert hall, and then, the last verse by N sounds again like it’s right in to your face.
Vocal layers, I know I’ve said it tons of times now, but there are very little verses that are “clean” of other voices.
This could easily be part of a movie soundtrack, of a big budget movie soundtrack, a main song.
It ends with N’s unique voice color, bringing you back from the heights, the same way it started. It’s musically beautiful, aesthetic.
It is a complex song to write, compose, record and produce so please, don’t listen to uploaded versions on youtube or other music videos that are not from RealVixx.
