Sudan Solidarity Collective: supports emergency response rooms, which provide pop-up medical services in areas where the health infrastructure has collapsed

Displacement and Health Relief Network: provides food and hygiene packages for displaced citizens of El-Fashir, a besieged city that recently fell to militias

Basmat Wasl: runs community kitchens in the cities of Khartoum and Gedarif

Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA): provides food and medical support + volunteer medical training within Sudan and in Sudanese refugee camps in neighboring Chad

Summary:

Experts informed the UK over three years ago that genocide risk was high in Sudan. The UK intentionally censored this, preventing the word from even being used in reports, seemingly so it could maintain its close relationship with the UAE despite knowing that it was the one funding the atrocities

Since then, at least 2 ethnic cleansings have been documented by UAE-backed militias in El-Geneina and again in El-Fasher, with militias especially targeting Black non-Arab Sudanese. The UK continued to prevent the word "genocide" from being used in official reporting of these events

A former UK lead expert has stated that this is a pattern of behavior. When the UK was eyeing sending asylum seekers to Rwanda, it ignored similar warnings about atrocities being committed by the Rwandan government, who were funding M23 militias in the Congo

What: Nabiha DC has already been doing a weekly Palestine markets on Saturdays and is now adding a Sudan benefit market every Sunday. They’re still in the early stages so support is crucial.
