Someone messaged me about an item I have for sale that I have significantly reduced the price on. First, she asked if I would take less than half what I had it currently listed for. I was like ok, that depends. Maybe if you pick it up like, tomorrow. Then she goes oh, I probably couldn't make it til late next week, and if I could help her move it. I told her well, I won't be here. So you're offering half my listing price then saying you can't show up for many days. So then she asked if someone else could be available to do the sale, while I'm not here, and if they could also help load the item, that she has offered less than half my asking price for.
Like. I'm not trying to make a million dollars. I'm just trying to make it worth my while to sell these things. And people show up offering half the listing price and going "also can you do me all these favors?" Fucker, absolutely not. I don't NEED to sell any of this stuff. So I'm not some desperate schmuck who so insanely needs $100 that I'd take your insane offer. No!
