DamiJon. Best friends who don't want to admit their feelings for each other incase the other doesn't feel the same. The only thing that would be worse than being shot down, would be losing each other. But damn-it if these feelings aren't strong.
Part 8 Part 9 Part 10

heads up about chapter:
violence
character death
HAPPY ENDING
âRobin! Take the shot!â Damianâs hands tremble as he looks through the scope. He was Robin, Damian Thomas Wayne, and Al Ghulâhe didnât hesitate, ever. He had a mission, and he would finish it. But then why had this been the third time someone had to tell him to pull the trigger. Maybe Damian was unsure of his position, maybe because the sound of buildings crashing around him, and the sound of his best friendâs death still rang in his ears.
Or many itâs because on the receiving end of the weapon was the love of his life.
âŚ.
24 hours earlier.
âWeâre going to be late!â Jon groans as he and Damian race through the tower to the meeting room where the Titans were going to be meeting the Justice league any minute.
âI believe thatâs on you, Habibi.â Jon rolls his eyes at DAmianâs comment. âTell me how this is on me.â As they round the corner to the end of the hallway, the two get in the elevator and are quick to push the top floor button.
âBecause, we were simply supposed to be working out and then you kissed me.â Jon gasps dramatically at Damianâs statement. âYou were the one giving me those stupid stupid kiss me eyes.â Damian shrugs, âI do not have âkiss meâ expressions, Jonathan.â
Jon sighs and nods, leaning closer to him and looks him over ending his gaze directly into Damianâs emerald green eyes, âYouâre right. Youâre just too amazing not to get lost in.â Damianâs throat tightens as he looks up, the blue of Jonâs eyes trapping him until heâs leaning forward about to connect their lips.
âAha! Kiss me eyes!â Jon jumps back pointing at Damian. Damian groans and pulls a hand through his hair, âFine! So maybe I happened to give you a certain look. I honestly didnât expect you to fall for me like that.â He ends with a smirk.
Jon huffs, âI was on the treadmill! You canât give me that look when Iâm going 50 miles per hour.â He rubs his side, where the bruise once was. Damian rolls his eyes, âYouâre fine, your super healing kicked in a few seconds after it happened.â
âFlying into the weight rack full force doesn't exactly feel like landing on a pile of pillows. Half-Kryptonian or not.â The elevator dings and they walk through, sighing in relief to see that the Titans were all sat, but the Justice League was not yet present.
âThere you guys are.â Dick spins in his chair, âI was about to send a search party.â Damian and Jon take their seats at opposite ends of the table, a situation they found kept their attention on the team members and not the other person. âJon flew off the treadmill.â Damian says, a smirk playing on his lips that only Raven catches.
She hides a laugh, Jon giving her a look. âDamian distracted me.â Starfire, ever the concerned leader leans forward, âHow did he do that? Are you alright?â Jon waves her off softly, âNot to worry Kori, it takes a little more than crashing into 1000 pounds of iron to take me down.â He says, purposefully avoiding the question of how he was distracted.
Raven leans forward, a mischievous glint in her eyes, âDid he kiss it better?â She asks, playfully. Jon and Damian both send a glare in her direction as Garfield and Jaime laugh. Luckily, the league members walk through the zeta tube at that moment, stopping the conversation.
They fill in the other side of the table, a hologram pulling up as they get straight to business. âBatman received intel that a group of criminals from Gotham have been making their way towards Jump City.â Superman says, all eyes on him and the rest of the League.
Batman turns to the Titans, âWe were able to stop Black Mask before he met up with any of the others, and he gave us the names of those he knows to be involved.â The hologram switches, showing Black Mask, Poison Ivy, Bane, and one more.â
Robin raises an eyebrow, âHe didnât give up the name of the last individual?â Wonder Woman shakes her head, âHe didnât know. Only Ivy was aware of this final member. They considered him the leader of this.â
Robinâs jaw clenched then he turned his head slightly about to say something else, but a stern look from Dick stopped him. Seeing this, Diana gives a small amused smile, âWorry not. We used the lasso on him. He told us things that werenât even about this group of theirs.â Batman nodded, grateful for the details and new information that would help him with some cases and possible leads back in Gotham when they were all finished.
âHe revealed that his part in this was to set up men around the city at certain points. Ones which they wouldâve told him once he arrived at their meeting point.â Superman starts. âObviously he didnât make it, but we need to figure out why theyâre in Jump Cityââ
Alarms sounding through the tower has all of the heroes jumping out of their seats. âBreak in at the Science and Technology institute in lower Jump City.â Kori announces, reading the report coming up on their screens. Dick nods, âThis is going to have to wait until weâve finished whatever the hell this is.â Superman nods, âTrust us we know. Go, weâll get to work here.â
âTitans, go.â Dick calls, the group racing off.
After they leave Green Lantern turns to his own teammates, âWhy donât we have a catch phrase when we leave?â Batman spins his chair to him quickly, âYouâre joking, right?â
âŚ.
In lower Jump City, the Titans arrive at the Science and Technology institute, the walls of the building blasted open, and smoke pouring out from inside, likely the dust and aftermath from whatever broke the wall open.
The team spreads out through the building, all of them already knowing their assignment. Garfield and Jaime find and get civilians out of the building. Raven and Donna, air support to see if there was any more structural damage. Dick and Kori working their way through the building in search of whoever, or whatever, they were trying to findâDamian and Jon following behind as back up.
The groups cleared the first three floors, and on the fourth Damian swept through the side rooms, eyes tracking every inch of the space, high alert. So far theyâd seen nothing taken or broken, all the equipment and projectsâincluding some very pricey objects were touched.
Dick quickly took note of this and began searching through his mind at whatever other meaning there could be for the break in. Then it hit him. Well, a pipe did anyway. Kori was at his side in seconds, Bane standing in the spot he had hit Nightwing seconds ago, launching him into the wall. âNightwing!â Damian raced over, only to be wrapped in a vine.
âNot so fast Birdy. I miss you back in Gotham ya know.â He spun, his katana-sword slicing through a vine of Ivyâs branch, âYouâre so much more fun to dance with than Batman.â She pouts, only to be flown across the room seconds later. Her back hits the wall before she realizes whatâs happening, blue eyes bearing into hers.
âIâm thinking you shouldâve stayed there.â Superboy tells her. She glares at him, vines coming up to wrap around his arms. Robin is quick to move his blade to her throat, âI wouldnât. Like you said, weâre not in Gotham. Different rules here Ivy.â
Ivyâs look turns cold and she sinks back, Jonathan bringing her hands behind her and wrapping one of the cut off vines around her wrists. They walk out of the broken plant-filled room, making it in time to see Dick and Kori standing over an un-venomed up Bane. âAsshole.â Dick groans out, hand coming to his neck. âYou good here?â Jon asks, the two leaders nodding.
Once they head outside the team hands Ivy and Bane over to Jump City police, quickly shoving them into armored vans, ready to ship the two back to Gotham. âThat wasââ Garfield starts, âEasy?â Raven finishes for him.
Donna shrugs, âWell, we got the ones weâve been looking for.â She smiles and lifts into the air, âI say we let the League know and call it a daââ Raven launches into the air, âDonna, watch out!â
The team watches, in what feels like slow motion, the Amazonian hit by a ray. Raven rushes to her, Jon taking off into flight as well. Dick spins quickly and his eyes narrow seeing Deathstroke with a gun that was definitely altered to do who knows what.
Before Raven or Jon could reach the girl, she fazed away, her body falling to dust and nothing. Raven let out a scream, Koriâs body feeling as if it was numb. The team all at once feeling the lost of their comrade. Of their family.
Dickâs head snaps over to Slade and he quickly races after him, âYou son of a bitch.â This mustâve been the last person. The final member of the villains from Gotham. But why? Why would Slade of all people be involved with such B-list villains.
Damian squeezes Raven in a hug once more then stands, drawing his katana. This time, heâd take Sladeâs life. Following after his brother, Dick and Damian begin fighting the past-his-prime assassin, each taking skilled swings. Their movements in sync from years fighting together. âWhy are you here!?â Dick yells, his fist nearly connecting with Sladeâs jaw.
âWhy are you fighting me? Iâm not your enemy, Nightwing.â Slade says, firmly. Damian and Dick began moving in staggered movements. Slade had never been able to hold his own like this with even one of them, let alone both. Slade spins, sending Damian flying into the wall, then turns to Dick drawing his weapon again.
Damian watches with more pain than he could ever imagine falling over him as Slade says something he is unable to hear, and Dick drops his escrima stick, the next thing that flashes in front of Damian being his eldest brother, reduced to dust, the same as his team mate. âNo!â His scream is throat aching. Raw and like it took all the life and oxygen from his lungs. After all, thatâs what it felt like.
Damian flies his sword out, missing Slade by inches. âYou need to listen to meââ Damian charges forward, not letting him finish his sentence. âYou will pay for this!â As he moves in a fight with Slade, angry and ragged movements. âRobin!â He quickly gets pulled back by Superman, âRobin we need to regroup! Your father is waiting to helpââ
Damian fights against her hold, âNo! He will die for what heâs done.â Superman is quick to pull them both out of the way from a shot. âYou wonât be able to stop him like this. You canât do anything, you arenât strong enough.â The words rang in his ear, almost louder than the sound of Dickâs scream. Or was it his? The death replayed in his head over and over, and the only thing that seemed to stay the same, the ending. His brother, gone.
Once back at the tower, Jon rushes over to Damian, pulling the ex-assassin into his arms. âIâm here. I know, I know.â Damian pushes him back, âI need space, I need to see Father. We need to figure out what weâre going to do nextââ
Jon pulls Damian to his room and back into a hug, âItâs just us, Dames.â Jon presses a kiss to Damianâs head and thatâs when he feels his walls fall. Damian collapses, almost to the ground if Jon werenât holding him close, as another scream tears through him, this time accompanied by shoulder shaking sobs.
âIâm so sorry, Damian. Iâm so sorry.â
After what felt like hours, but really only a few minutes of them on the floor of Jonâs room, Batman bursts in, and Damian falls into his arms. âHeâs goneââ Bruce nods, âI know. Starfire told me what happened to Nightwing. Iâm so sorry.â He whispers to the Robin. âIt was Slade. Iâm going after him.â
Batman nods, âI know, you need to be sure about this. You donât know what youâre walking into.â Robin stands up, wiping his tears, not even phased that heâs kept his domino mask on, or that his fatherâs kept his cowl on. He figured that both probably couldnât face seeing the pain in each otherâs eyes.
âI donât know what Iâm walking into, but it doesnât matter. Iâll go with or without my team, but one thing's for sure. Iâm killing Deathstroke.â
âŚ.
âThey what!â Superboy walked with the Commissioner for Jump City P.D. who had just explained that Poison Ivy and Bane had escaped their containment units. âThey completely broke through the cells and took out half of my station doing it. We were lucky to make it out of there to tell you.â Looking at the manâs disheveled state, Jon nods and tells him to get help before taking off into flight.
Once above the city, in the clouds where the only kind of contact he could have would be a plane, Jon lets out a loud scream. This day seemed to never end, and he had tried multiple times to wake up but it wasnât a dream.
As he watched the city he loved, the city he protected, down below Jonâs mind raced of what happened earlier. How could one small break in turn into two fallen team mates and Gotham metas being on the loose. He drops his head into his hands, only to be pulled back into the chaos by the sound of a crumble below him.
Jon swooped down, and his eyes widened. Jump City observatory was beginning to crumble. The walls were shaking and collapsing, large pieces of stone falling into the street and he quickly shot into action making sure that none of the debris hit civilians or caused more chaos to the surrounding area.
âSuperboy, come in!â Kori spoke over his comms. âIâm here Star, thereâs been a building collapse.â He continues his sweep around the streets making sure that there was nobody left in the area, âWe know! Weâre at the city bank now.â Jonâs eyebrows furrow. City Bank? âWhat are you talking about? Iâm at the Observatory.â
Robinâs voice came through the comms, âTwo buildings?â Jon paused for a second and closed his eyes concentrating. He could hear Damian on his motorcycle zipping through the streets not to far away. Jaimeâs voice filled his communication device, âMake that three. Jump City Orchestra Hall just got hit. I canât find whoeverâs doing this.â
He and Garfield were down trying to contain the crumbling infrastructure. âRobin, Iâm near your location, Iâll be by to help you and Jon with the Observatory.â Raven told the group.
They were all over the city. Their city. It was collapsing and they didnât know where to start.
A burst of light called Jonâs attention away and he raced over to the building closest to Robin, âRae! I need help containing this fire!â He began using his super-exhale (itâs 2 am, I donât know.) to lessen the flames. As Raven approached they heard the sound of Starfire and Jaime calling out for Garfield. âWhat just happened?!â Robin asks over the comms.
Jaime screams with a frustrated rasp, âBeastboyâs gone! Bane got to him, he shot him with something and Gar just vanished. Same as Wonder Girl and Nightwing.â Jonâs flight nearly took him off course straight into a building. Another team mate. Gone.
âWeâre going after Bane! I see him in aââ Two more rushes of static over the comms and Jonâs heart fell. Raven left the building, the fire now out, and flew to where they were last. She collapsed on the ground seeing starfires necklace crushed in front of her. âTheyâre gone.â
Damian rushes up to Jon whoâs finally let his body take control, and has collapsed to his knees, full force. âWhat is happening to our city?â He asks, pulling the half-Kryptonian into a tight embrace, the way Jon did for him. Jon cries against Damianâs shoulder and Damian runs his hand through his hair.
Seeing a flash of green, Jon looks up and stands, âIvy.â His eyes grow dark and his feet leave the ground. Damian looks back, seeing vines trailing an alleyway. âSuperboy,â he says, cautiously, âDonât do anything youâll regret.â
Hours ago he was ready to kill Slade. Hell, that was still on his agenda, but he couldnât let Jon fall to this also, he couldnât let Jon feel the pain he felt because of what was held over him.
âTrust me, I wonât regret this.â He flies towards the ally full speed, windows breaking in his path. âSuperboy!â Damian calls out after him, stumbling back slightly from the wave of force coming from Jon.
He races after him and picks up speed, if possible, seeing Ivy blowing red dust into Jonâs face, the half-Kryptonian breaking into a coughing fit. âNo!â He falls to his knees, and Ivy rushes to Damian who is now holding Jon in his arms, âRobin! You need to listen to meââ Damian is quick to launch his sword at her, but Ivy quickly dodges it, moving with a quickness and preciseness that heâd never seen from her before.
But that didnât even cross his mind. It didn't change any of it, all he saw was his boyfriendâs eyes fluttering shut in front of him. âN-no, Habibi, please donât leave me.â He breaks into a sob, not even caring anymore for Ivyâs presence. âY-you said youâd never leave, weâre supposed to watch each otherâs backs. How am I supposed to do that if youâre gone? How am I supposed to hug you and steal your hoodies? I need you, Jonathan.â Jon grips Damianâs hand, the red covering his body in a faint dust, until he begins fading away.
âN-no, no, no.â Damianâs hands grasp at the space his boyfriend once filled. He sees Ivyâs eyes glowing as the powder starts forming in one of the plants. Before he can draw his katana back up or reach forward to kill her in any other way he knew up, heâs swept out of the alley by Raven, as she pulls him to the ground in front of a now crumbling Titanâs tower.
âDamian, I donât know whatâs happening.â She asks through sobs. âNothing feels right, everythingâeverything is wrong. I canât thinkââ He pulls her into his arms, âNothing is right.â He rasps out. âWe need to find Ivy, Bane, and Slade. Theyâre going to pay. Then we need to tell the League, we need to tell them whatâs happened and theyââ He stops himself.
What could they do? They couldnât bring back their team. Batmans and Superman just lost their sons. Damian was grasping at anything he could, but there was nothing coming to his mind. Just, fear.
âDamian, we need to get to the league now. They need to knowââ A blast hits Raven, sending her flying back to the water. Damian spins, and his heart stops.
Jon, flying in front of him.
No, this wasnât his Jon, it couldnât be. His Jon just died in his arms. He saw it. Felt it. This was something else, something that just attacked Raven and is now trying to come after Damian. The League sprints down from the Tower entrance, all looking up at Superboy.
Raven emerges from the shore, and Jon flies towards her at a quick speed, the two flying out to the center of Jump City bay. Damian races for them but gets pulled back by his father, âRobin, you need to get inside.â
Damian shakes his head, âWhat? No! Those are my friends!â Well, one of them was. As he pushes his wary body towards the shore his ears fill with the ringing sound of Ravenâs scream, a purple shadowâa birdâconsuming her, until nothing is left but Superboy. âRae!â Damianâs voice barely makes a sound. Heâs called out the name of everyone on his team today. Heâs lost all of them.
Another step forward Damian kicks something at his feet. Looking down, he sees the weapon Slade used to take out his brother and Donna. âTake the shot, Damian.â He spun but saw the League gone.
Damian knelt and picked up the raygun feeling it power up, the energy rushing. âNo, I-I canât.â He looked up, Jon flying back towards him. âTake the shot!â he hears another voice, this one so familiar. Heâs heard it a thousand times but he canât process it. He canât process anything.
His hands trembled more and more until Superboy was standing right in front of him, âTake the shot, Damies.â He whispers. Damian shakes his head, âN-no. No youâre not real." Jon steps closer, the end now pressed to his chest. âLook at me. Look in my eyes, Dames.â
Damianâs eyes fill till he can barely see.
âWhat if I get replaced with a clone some day?â Damian runs his fingers through Jonâs hair as they lie on the roof of the tower. Jon chuckles, âThatâs easy, Iâd find the real you and weâd defeat the evil Damian clone.â Damian hums, âHowâd you know which is the real me?â Jon looks up at him, âIâd look in your eyes.â Damian leans down and kisses Jon. âWhat would you do if I were cloned?â Jon asks once Damian pulls away. Damian shrugs, âI could either find the real you and weâd defeat him, or I find the real you and have two Jonâs all to myself.â Jon laughs and wraps Damian in a hug, âNah, youâre all mine.â
âLook in my eyes.â Jon whispers one last time, kissing Damian. Damian melts into the kiss as his finger pulls back and the trigger goes off.
âBreathe!â Damian looks around quickly. âDamian, son breathe.â His father. His father was right in front of him, and the sounds that filled his ears were no longer the ones of building crashes and fights. âDami, youâre okay little bird.â He snaps his head over. Little Bird. âDick?â His voice breaks.
Dick nods, pulling his brother into a tight hug that is quickly reciprocated. âIâm here, Iâm here kid.â Damian holds his brother tight, âWhat happened? I saw you dieââ Bruce shakes his head, steadying Damian.
âHe didnât die, Damian. None of them did.â Damianâs eyes are now fully adjusted as his surroundings become calmer. His team, theyâre here. Theyâre all here. The fallen friends were all standing in front of him, IVâs attached, some leaning back in the Towerâs medbay beds.
âWhen we got to the Science and Technology tower the dust that we though was from the break in was really spores, mixed with fear toxin and banes accelerant. When we thought the final member was Sladeââ Damian nods along slowly, âIt was Scarecrow.â He finishes for his older brother, who nods in confirmation.
âSo whenever one of you was dying?â Superman walks up, âAn antidote we created. Once we figured out it was Scarecrow after you all left, we quickly came up with something and got to you as soon as we could.â Damian nods, and sees the look between Superman and Batman, âThen howâd you get me out? I didnât die.â
âThat would be me.â Damian turns, Jon walking up to him. âWe figured if we couldnât get you to accept what was happening, then something so shattering would pull you out. When me dying didnât do itââ
âSend me in.â Jon steps forward as they prepare to inject Dick with the fear toxin sample, âGive me the dose and Iâll pull Damian and Raven out. Sheâll know Iâm telling the truth through her empath abilities, and if itâs me, Damian will be pulled out.â
Damian nods, âMe being the reason did.â Jon rushes forward pulling Damian into a hug. âIâm so sorry.â Damian whispers. Jon shakes his head, âI am too. I love you.â
Not caring that both the Titans and the League are now aware of their relationship, Damian pulls Jon into a quick kiss. âI suppose the H.R. seminar on inter-team relationships will start next week.â Dick jokes, his heart full seeing his little brother happy.
âThis teamâs seen more than enough from you and Koriâandr, Grayson.â Damian huffs. Bruce steps forward, âIâm sorry you had to go through that Damian. I truly am sorry.â Damian hugs his father, âYou brought me out. Thank you. And I suppose Iâm sorry for not telling you about Jon and myself.â
Bruce and Clark shake their heads with smiles, âI have an idea we donât have to worry about anything.â Clark says. Bruce nods in agreement, âI do however owe Alfred a lot of money. If youâd only waited to tell us at Christmas time.â
âŚ.
Deciding to let the Titans recover, the League begins to head out moments later, âYou did good today Titans. We are all proud of you.â Superman says, following the group out as they step through the zeta tube.
âSo,â Green Lantern turns to Batman once back on the Watch Tower, âExactly how much money do you owe Alfred?â
Bruce sighs, âA lot.â
âŚ.
âIâm glad you trusted me, Dames.â Jon whispers. The two were currently cuddling on his bed, after a long shower and wrapped in blankets, sweatpants, and hoodies. âIâm sorry it took killing you for it to show.â
Jon chuckles, âThat wasnât great. This whole thing was testing and I may never forget what happened while we were,â He paused trying to find the right word, âlosing our freaking minds.â Damian finishes. Jon nods, âYes. Well, anyway, Iâm finally with the love of my life, my friends are aliveânot to mention they know about us.â
Damian kisses him slowly, âI love you, Hayseed.â Jon smiles, âI love you, Dames.â
Damian Wayne answers the internet' most asked questions.
Bat-Family Masterlist
This chapter really helped me get over my writers block I think. It might be a little all over the place but I hope you like it.
Chapter Text
âCâmon, Damian. We all did it.â Dick tells his youngest. He, Jason, and Tim had been trying to convince the 17 year old all week to do the most asked questions interview, with no luck. âItâs not my problem that you all pimped yourselves out to entertainment.â
Damian was not sitting next to Raven on the couch in the Manorâs movie room, and she watched the interaction with amusement, âDamian, you might have fun.â She says. Damian huffs, his arm draped around her on the couch, âDonât tell me youâre on their side now.â Raven tilts her head his way, âTheyâre going to wear you down eventually, Dami.â She turns her attention back to the screen, letting whatever happens, happen.
After another few minutes of Dick and Tim trying to convince Damian, the 2nd eldest brother steps forward and clears his throat. Dick huffs looking at him, âYou think youâre going to have better luck, be my guest.â
Jason rolls his eyes, âDonât be a bitch.â
âHi this is Damian Wayne doing the internetâs most asked questions.â
Jason smirks at Dick and Tim who are sitting next to him in the behind the scenes chairs. Bruce watches Damian with nervous excitement, waiting to see how his youngest son handles this, and just to be safe, brought Raven along with the group.
âAlright, letâs get this thing done with.â He looks over and his family gives him a look. Bruce tilts his head and Damian lets out a frustrated sigh.
âAlright Damian, youâll be on screen for a while and we want you to try a cover.â Damian shrugs, always ready for a challenge especially if itâs something he can prove heâs better than his brothers at. âI want to see how long you can hold the Wayne personaâŚâ
Giving Bruce a nod, ready to show his brothers that he could do this, and even maybe excel at it Damian picks up the first board, âDoes Damian Wayne eat mean? No I do not, I have a pet cow which seems like enough explanation. Iâm all about saving and helping animals.â He gives a Wayne smile, shocking his family who are sitting on the side, all but Raven and Bruce who knew what was going on.
Jason, Tim, and Dickâs jaws drop,
âWhat-â
âThe-â
âFluff.â
Jason and Tim look at Dick, âWhy must you censor us every time we finish each otherâs sentences?â Dick holds back his classic smirk at their reactions. âNext up, do I have a middle name? Yes I do, it is Thomas. Same as my father, it was his fatherâs name, and Iâm studying to be a surgeon like he was.â
âI bet heâs good with his hands.â Raven turns, her advanced hearing picking up on something one of the hair girls said to her friend who nods in agreement. Controlling her rush of frustration and anger, the half demon turns back to her boyfriend.
âDo I,â Damian tears off the next piece of paper, âSpeak Arabic? Yes I do, I learned it as a child because I lived in Nanda Partbat.â Seeing that his brothers were trying to figure out what was happening, Damian smirks. âAnd finally, do I like to draw? I love drawing, it calms me and I can put beautiful things on the canvas.â He looks at Raven, his all time favorite person to sketch or paint, loving the smile she has when he shows her the finished product.
âI will happily model for him.â Raven turns again and sees Kellyâaccording to her name tagâ leaning over to the blonde she met earlier, Dana who laughs, âGet in line. If anything, Iâm going first.â Ravenâs eyes narrow âIâll tell them where they can go.â
âWho is Damian Wayneâs mother? My mother is Talia Al Ghul. She raised until I was nine and came to live with my father. She wanted to make sure I had the knowledge ofâŚour heritage before I came to Gotham..â That heritage being the art of killing people and the plans to take over the world. Luckily his family and friends here have helped him outgrow that part of his life.
Bruce stands up and walks over to Raven, âHeâs doing good so far.â He says, keeping his voice low. Raven nods, an amused look on her face as she watches Dick, Jason, and Timâs eyes trained on their youngest brother in confusion and slight horror. âYes, I think he sees it as a mission and he has to carry it out to perfection like always.â
âNext up, who is my best friend? Well, heâs from Smallville and his name is Jonathan Kent. Heâs a great guy to hang out with and weâve been best friends since we were 10.â As soon as the words come out of his mouth, Raven looks down at her phone to see a very worried text from Jon asking if Damian is being held hostage. âThe next question leads into the best friend area. Who is my girlfriend?â He gives Raven an uncharacteristic wink and her face flushes pink, âMy girlfriend is Rachel Roth who is standing over there beautiful as hell.â She rolls her eyes at the double meaning.
âShe is my favorite person in the world.â He says, the girls on the side pouting. He said what he said. Raven thinks to herself. âAnd I mean it.â She jumps slightly not realizing that she accidentally said that to Damian through their bond. He smirks to the side as he peels off the final piece of paper, âAnd lastly who is my favorite brother? I have no favorites, theyâre all such amazing brothers and any chance I get to spend time with them, I will take it.â He finishes holding a hand to his chest.
âOkay, what the fuck did he smoke?â Tim whispers to Dick. âDid he find the brownies we hid from Bruce?â Jason asks, the three shaking their heads and Dick leans towards them, âNo, no Iâm pretty sure Alfred finished them.â
âThe next category on the Damian Wayne list of fun facts, what.â He tears off the new paper while, without looking, whips the last board towards his brothers hitting them all. âLittle shââ Jason groans while Tim and Dick flip him off. âWhat ethnicity is Damian Wayne? I am half CaucasianâEnglish and Scottish through my fatherâs side, and a mix of Arabic, Chinese, and French from my mother.â He smiles, listing each one off on his fingers. âPsh, Iâm Romanin.â Dick mumbles, still grumpy from the board attack. Damian makes a shushing motion in his direction, Bruce having to hold his eldest son back from launching forward at his youngest. âWhat is my favorite color?â Damian leans back into the seat, âGreen. Not much more to it.â
One of the girls on the side sighs in a charmed sense, âLike his eyes no doubt.â Ravenâs eyes narrow at her, âLike his eyes no doubt.â She huffs under her breath.
âWhat is my birthday?â Damian tosses the next piece of sticky paper behind his shoulder, âMy birthday is August 9th, 7 days before my second eldest brother.â Something that Jason had to admit wasnât a terrible thing. The fourth day, in the middle between both of their birthdays, Jason and Damian would spend the day hiking, sometimes in Gotham, sometimes in another country.
âAnd the last question in this category, what sport do I play?â Damian tosses the board down, âI played soccer in Gotham Prep and I continue to play in my free time.â Heâd been invited to play for Gotham Universityâs team but he decided against it, figuring that college and being Robinânot to mention trying to spend time with Raven and JonâŚand perhaps his familyâwould take up a lot of his time.
It took a few years, but Damian could finally admitâhe canât do everything. And thatâs okay.
âAlright. The last category, how. How bigâŚâ he breaks that part of the board and places it behind him, âThatâs not,â He clears his throat, âNext one.â The director raises an eyebrow. After all, questions like that were screened. Especially after Dickâs most asked questions interview. âHow did I get my pets, so much better.â
He begins counting on his fingers, âMy girlfriend gave me my great dane, Titus, as a gift when we were at boarding school together. Alfred our family grandfather figure brought me a cat from a shelter, believing that the energy from the anti-social pet would match mine.â He nods, proud, âHis name is Alfred the cat. And I have a cow named Batcow because it looks like a bat is on his forehead.â
Luckily after years of telling people that, and pictures that made it onto Damianâs rarely used social media, the public, thankfully, thought the name was cute and based off the cowâs birthmark, nothing more.
âAnd our last question of the day, how longâwho screens these?!â The director, already planning on cutting those two questions out of the video, points to one of the girls gathered on the side, âKelly and Dana do all our board set ups.â
Ravenâs eyes track them and she hands her purse to Dick, earrings to Jasonâwho seems incredibly excited for what is about to play out, and phone to Tim who starts recording though that wasnât her intention of giving it to him.
âThatâs it!â Damian rushes to sit straight in his chair, seeing Raven storming over and grabbing a blonde girl by the hair. Dick, Jason, and Tim nod, complimenting her form between the three of them while Bruce distracts the director from everything happening behind them, with a motion for Damian to wrap it up. âAh-this has been most asked questionsâthatâll bruiseâwith Damian Wayne. I hope it was entertai-ah fuck.â He rushes over scooping Raven over his shoulder, âWeâre leaving now.â
As they head out he turns his head and sees Raven with her head propped on her chin smiling that her boyfriend has been successfully claimed. Damian chuckles, âYou keep me on my toes, witch girl.â She smiles, âCanât make it easy for all the other girls.â
âWhat other girls?â
âBest answer all day.â
âŚ.
âThank you,â Bruce clears his throat talking to the director, âthis was, interesting.â Dick, Jason, and Tim grab all their stuffâas well as Ravenâsâand begin heading towards the door.
The director nods, with an oblivious smile, âWe all enjoyed having you here and the ratings for the videos are through the roof, if youâd ever like to come backââ
Bruce shakes his head, âI think the Wayne family will be keeping our interviews to a minimum for the foreseeable future.â

Literally no intro is coming to meâŚthe wrong Damian.
Bat-Family Masterlist
âGet him!â Batman yells, reaching for his son, while being trapped behind a pile of rubble. Damian was currently being pulled into a whirlpool of blue light and clinging to Dick and Jasonâs hands, âFuck!â He groans trying to fight against the pull of the energy.
By the time Bruce finally breaks through the rubble Damian has slipped through while Dick and Jasonâs hold has slipped. All at once they reach through and grab hold, sighing in relief when they grab Damianâs arm and manage to pull him through again. The Robin unconscious and falling into Bruceâs arms.
âWeâve got you.â He mutters to his son and they all race to their cars or motorcycles, Damian being slid into the passenger seat of the Batmobile. Once they pull into the Bat Cave, heâs rushed to the med-bay table and in the middle of Alfred rushing over, and Bruce starting to check his vitals, Damian shoots up straight, gasping for air.
Bruce holds his shoulders and turns him so that theyâre looking at each other, âDamian, youâre alright son youâre in theââ Damian does the most unexpected thing to any of the family members that were now gathered in the cave, and falls into Bruceâs arms hugging him. âBaba!â
Bruceâs eyes widen as he pulls his cowl off. Dick flies his hand out hitting Tim who has the same reaction, Jason stepping back terrified, âThe fuck?â Bruce pats Damianâs head unsure of how to react as the teenager pulls away, âWhen I got separated during the mission I didnât know what to do. Iâm sorry I just freaked out.â
Did Damian just use conjunctions and apologize in the same sentence? Bruce puts his ungloved hand on Damianâs forehead, eyes still wide, âFather, I promise Iâm okay. Just, tired.â Bruce raises an eyebrow, âIâm not so sure about that.â
Damian looks over and jumps off the bed hugging Dick, âI saw you take the hit from Ivy. Are you alright?â Dickâs heart stops and races at the same time. Heâs both terrified that Damianâs hugging him, and wants to scoop him up and go cuddle on the couch, âI-Iâm fine, Damian.â Damian nods, and pulls back, moving to Jason, but the older brother steps away, âNope, not gonna happen.â
âAkhi, are you hurt?â Jason shakes Damianâs shoulders and pulls his eyelids up carefully, âYou. Are. Damian. Wayne!â Damian laughs, all of them rearing back, âI know that, Jason. Iâm going upstairs, I think you all need a minute.â Which they definitely did.
Once Damian is upstairs Jason lets out a loud curse, âWho the fuck is that?!â Bruce runs a hand through his hair, âMaybe he hit his head.â Dick shakes his head, âNo, Damianâs had three severe concussions simultaneously and still managed to insult several Wayne Enterprise chairboard members.â
Alfred sits down and rubs his forehead, âIâm getting too old for this shit.â
âŚ.
Once theyâve all showered up, thinking that maybe Damian just needed a minute, they go upstairs and freeze seeing Damian on the couch in a hoodie and sweatpants, both which belonged to his boyfriend, Jon. He usually only wore them if it were late and he was truly exhausted, hanging out with Jon, or on the very rare occasion, sick.
A ring on the doorbell followed by quick knocking took their attention off of the teenager on his phone, and Alfred walked over opening the door to Jon and Raven, Jon having heard the drop in Damianâs heartbeat for a second, the two flying over right away.
Jon rushed in and straight to Damian who stood up and gave him a hug, which out of everyone present was the most normal of the hug recipients, âDames, what happened? I heard your heard get all fucked up and Iââ Damian laughs, âJon Iâm fine really. Hey, witch girl.â He says, walking over to Raven.
She smiles glad that her friend is okay and smiles as sheâs pulled into a hug, âHey, Damiaââ Her eyes widen as he pressed a kiss to her lips, his hands resting on her jaw and waist. Jon feels his heart freeze, as everybodyâs jaws drop. Raven stands in a trance eyes wide, confused and taken back.
âBeloved? Are you okay?â He asks, stepping back. Ravenâs jaw drops and she points to herself, asking in a dry voice, âMe?â Damian laughs and kisses her cheek, âYes.â While Jon knows he should feel upset, or hurt, he mainly feels confused. Why was his boyfriend kissing Raven? Bruce clears his throat, âDamian, are you sure youâre feeling, normal?â
Damian nods, âYes Baba for the lastââ Damian looks at the wall, âWhere are the photos?â Dick follows his eyeline, âPhotos?â Damian nods, âYes. The family photos, theyâre gone. And I wanted to mention, my room. All of my clothes are gone, thereâs a large collection of turtle necks and no sneakers.â Bruceâs eyes narrow then widen and he pulls Damian to sit down.
âDamian, how long have you lived here?â Damianâs eyebrow raises, âSince I was six, father.â The familyâs eyes widened. Thatâs 4 years sooner than Damian came to the Manor, to Gotham, and even met Bruce.
âAnd weâve known each other sinceâŚâ Bruce asked, Damian huffed, âSince I was born father. I stayed with Mother for 6 years and youâd visit every week. Why am I explaining this, you were there. You all were.â Everyoneâs hearts stopped.
This may be Damian, but this wasnât their Damian.
âŚ.
âYouâre telling me, that light switched me and your Damian?â He asks, having melted into the couch at the new revelation, âSo thatâs why the room, and the pictures and apparently how we all act with each other is so different?â
Bruce nods, âWeâll figure out how to fix it Damian. Multiple dimensions isnât something that is new to us, trust me. Why donât you tell us a little about your dimension?â Damian nods, and runs a hand through his hair.
Well, after I was born, Mother kept me at the League with her till I was six, and you visited every week, sometimes you would bring a brother or sister of mine, and thatâs when everyone reunited with Jason. I came to Gotham and trained to become Robin, while attending Gotham Prep, and made friends with Jonathan, best friends.â He turns with a smile, but sees Jon with a bouncing knee and crossed arms, a pout on his face. âAfter that, I stayed with the Titans for a little, because I wanted to improve on my teamwork skills,â Jason lets out a laugh, everybody but Damian giving him a look to shut up. âAnd there, I met Raven. At least I know thatâs stayed the same.â He says, taking her hand. She winces and slides down the couch, âActually Damian, weâre not dating in this dimension.â
Damianâs eyes widened, âWhat? Then who am I dating?â Jon raises a hand, âThat would be me.â Damian nods slowly, âI-Iâm dating my best friend? Did that not weaken our friendship? I consider you like a brother Jonââ Jon raises his hand with a fake gag, âPlease, please donât say that.â He slides his phone across the coffee table to Damian who scoops it up. Once it turns on he sees a picture of himself leaning back on Jonâs chest at what appears to be the beach, both smiling as Damian kisses Jonâs jaw. âYou look happy together.â
Jon and Raven stand up, âWeâre gonna go. It might be easier.â Damian nods and looks up at the two of them, âIâm sorry.â Jon smiles and shakes his head, âDonât be. If it werenât me, Raeâs the best choice.â
Once they leave Damian pulls out his phone and shows some videos to Bruce and the rest of the family, âHere. These might be helpful.â
Bruce watches a video of himsefâwell alternate himself, with Damian, younger than heâd ever seen his son. He mustâve been three or four, and in the video Bruce scooped him up kissing his forehead, Damian bursting out in giggles, âBaba!â Bruceâs heart tightens. Heâd always wondered what it would have been like to know Damian as a kid, but this? This made him wish he could do it all again, not that heâd ever, ever, trade his Damian for the world.
The next video showed Damian in the pool with Jason and Dick, being tossed back and forth between the two, Bruce and Thalia being heard in the background, âDonât drop him.â Dick smile and nods, âWe would never.â Damian laughs as Jason launches him up and he splashes down in front of Dick, being scooped up quickly.
Dick smiles at the video, Jason feeling one come to his face too. There are videos of Damian running around the manor, playing soccer with a Gotham Prep jersey on. Reading with Tim, cuddling with Dick, baking with Jason, coloring with Cassandra, everything.
They spend the next few hours going through videos and pictures while asking Damian about his dimension. âDick, you should probably get Titus out of the barn.â When Damian and the rest of the family were off on missions, Titus would often venture out to the barn and spend time sleeping in there, for some reason loving the presence of Batcow.
Once Titus runs in he sprints up to Damian but pauses, knowing that it wasnât his owner. He huffs and whines, running over to Bruce, âItâs okay Titus, I know itâs confusing.â
Bruce looked up at Damian and gave him a reassuring smile, âWeâre going to get you home, Damian. Donât worry.â Jason gives him a laugh, âIâd be more worried about how our little stab-happy demon is with this cuddle session family.â
Tim Drake answers the internet' most asked questions.
Bat-Family Masterlist
âHey, this is Tim Drake, and Iâll be doing the internet's most asked questions about me. Letâs get started.â
âFirst up, who is my favorite superhero? Well that would be Gothamâs very own Batman.â On the side where his brothers are sitting Tim hears a round of teasing, quickly stopped by Bruce hitting their heads, deciding he may have a new favorite. Tim smirks over to his brothers. âWho is Tim Drakeâs best friend?â He smiles, âMy best friend is Stephanie Brown, my favorite blondie.â Stephanie winks at him from the side and he returns the action.
âWho is Tim Drake dating? Well, my boyfriend is Kon Kent, and he is a ball of chaos that I love spending time with.â Tim says, his knee beginning to bounce. The Waynes on the sidelineâs eyes widen hoping that he doesnât start having more fidgeting. As soon as Tim stepped on set he was rushed into hair, makeup, and into the chairâwith no time for a quick three cups of coffee.
âAlright, who do I buy coffee from?â He tilts his head, âMmm, anywhere really. Thereâs a good spot near Gotham Museum, they have the most insane cup of coffee.â He however doesnât mention that they know him by name, order, and his photo is up on the wall as customer of the year.
Tim tosses the board to the side, pausing to hold his knee from bouncing, âNext up,â He smiles as the director hands him the next board, âWhat is Tim Drakeâs middle name? My middle name is Jackson, and my full name is actually Tim Jackson Drake Wayne.â He says, not going more into detail about his middle name gifted from his late birth parents.
âWhat is my birthday? Oh good, an easy one, July 9th. Best day of Bruceâs life.â He smirks at his brothers. âWhatââ He holds his head and launches the book that just hit it back at Damian, successfully hitting his ribs. âDemonbrat. What is my IQ?â He chuckles, â142, but thatâs not important if I donât give a fâ if I donât put effort into what I do.â He tears off the final pice of sticky paper on that board, âWhat is my favorite coffee? Umm, extra large. Next.â He ends with an innocent smile.
As they get the next board ready, his eyes track one of the interns whoâs holding two cups of coffee to hand to his friend. Seeing this Stephanie snaps her fingers and he looks over at her snapping out of his coffee trance. âRight, next boardâdoes.â He runs a hand through his hair, âDo I own Starbucks?â He sighs, âSomeday, someday.â Bruce facepalms. âDoes Tim Drake have any pets?â He shakes his head, âNah, Damianâs pets are enough to fill the Manor and perhaps a small zoo. Thank goodness Bruce made him return the tiger.â
âDo I live in Wayne Manor? Why yes I do, it has great wifi and Alfred is the best person to talk to about your issues." He smiles and pulls off the next paper, needing this interview to hurry up so he can get some sort of caffeine in an IV drip. To be fair, he had been up for 36 hours working on a case about Killer Croc. âDo I have a spleen?â How the fuck did they know? âUm, no I donât. I had a medical issue so it had to be removed. Worry not, I am in tip top shape.â The medical emergency having been that he was jumped by a member of the League of Assassins.
As they handed Tim the final board he felt the end of the interview and a giant monster energy drink just in reach. âFinally, how many bikes do I own? I own 3 custom bikes that I love.â He peels off the next piece not covering that the bikes are indeed his Red Robin bikes, âHow tall am I?â He rolls his eyes, âIâm 5â10 unlike Bruce and the others. Luckily Iâm still taller than Damian for now.â
âHow was I adopted? Well after a lot of paperwork, Bruce took me in. I was the last one on his adoption punch card so he got Damian for free, and unfortunately couldnât return him.â Damianâs hand his held back from the closest weapon to him by Bruceâ âAnd finally, how much coffee do I drink?â He smiles, âThatâs unknown for now. This has been the most asked questions with Tim Drake, hope you enjoyed.â
As soon as the cameras are off Tim races to the crafts table and grabs a monster from the end downing it while the director walks over to Bruce and the others, âShould anyone be concerned about the amount of caffeine related questions he had?â
Damian and Jon are just friends, right? They've been friends forever, best friends. But what happens when their families start to catch on to some new feelings or things?
Part 7 Part 8 Part 9
âSuperboy!!!â The team calls out, as an unconscious Kryptonian is lifted into a plane and jetted away. Donna, too weak from the fight, is unable to race after him while Raven is still unconscious. Some form of magic, the group that attacked them, was brought. Robin raced down the streets of Jump City back to Titanâs Tower, with one goal in mind. He was going to find the people who did this, kill them, and get his boyfriend back.
The attack came out of nowhere. What they thought were simple robbers breaking into Macware Industries turned out to be a trap for the Teen Titans. They seemed to have everything that could take out their biggest team mates, including Jon.
It wasnât easy to take out the Kryptonian, but a giant metal bludgeon to the head would definitely do it. By the time Damian noticed his partnerâboth on the field and offâwas no longer with him, Jon was already being loaded onto the small plane that they hadnât noticed landing near the fight.
âDamian, calm down, we need to figure out where he went first.â Dick says, trying to get his youngest brother to stop rushing around his room. âI know where he went.â Damian says, grabbing his katana and lacing his boots tighter, as if preparing for a climb. Dick nods, âWell, would you like to share that information with me?â
Damian stands up, âIâm telling you this so you know not to follow me. He was taken by the League of Assassins. Jon was taken by my mother.â
âŚ.
âWhat theââ Jon wakes up in a chair, his head pounding. Looking around he sees stone walls and candles lighting the room. âApologies for the methods of reaching out to you.â Jon groans, âYour methods are fucked.â He mumbles out, still unsure of who the voice was. His eyes felt like they didnât want to open, and his pounding headache didnât mind.
After another twenty minutes he hears a door open and heels clicking across the floor. âI apologise for my assassinâs rude greeting. A hit to the head wasnât how I planned to start this.â Jon looks up, his eyes now used to the darker lit room. âAssassins?â
A woman sat in front of him with a nod, âYes. Iâm sure you know about them, after all. Youâre in a relationship with the prince.â Jon looked around and his mind became less of a fog, especially with the help of this woman, âIâm in the League.â
She gives him a nod and leans forward cutting the ropes around his wrists with a knife, then slips it back into her boot. âI tried to tell them those werenât necessary.â Jon looked at her, giving her his attention to try and figure out what was happening.
Giving her a once over, he stopped at her eyes. Familiar emerald eyes that heâd looked into as much as he could, and could never forget. âYouâre Damianâs mother.â His eyes widened. âTalia.â She says with a small smile, one that did little to comfort him. âNow, letâs talk about you and my son.â
âŚ.
Pulling himself up onto the shore of Nanda Parbat, Damian dropped his diving equipment on the rocks and took a deep breath of the cold air. âHayseed, if you can hear me, Iâm coming.â He whispers, praying that Jon could hear it. He ran to the opening entrance of the mountain where heâd grown up climbing for training since the age of four.
He skillfully climbed with a familiarity, knowing exactly where to step and what rocks to grab, and what ledges would have patrolling assassins, not that he wouldnât hesitate to take them out. Anything to get to his boyfriend.
Landing in the center temple of the League he was greeted by several assassins whose eyes widened and instead of beginning a fight, they bowed and Damian huffed, âEnough of that. Whereâs my mother?â They all gave each other a look. Of course, Damian was their prince, but Talia was, well, Talia. Seeing their hesitation, Damian pulled his katana, âIt only takes one arm to point, and one person. So we can do this the easy way, or the bloody way. And considering youâve all taken something thatâs mine, I wouldnât mind doing it the bloody way.â
Knowing that he was telling the truth, that he would hesitate to take off a limb or eight, one of the assassins led him down the hallways, âTheyâre inside, Prince.â The assassin whispers. Damian nods and waves him to go, not sure of how things would turn out. Damian cracked the door in and seeing shadows along the wall, reflected by of one of the candles, he storms in and draws his sword, only to drop it at the sight in front of him.
âYouâre absolutely right he doesnât wear enough green.â Jon says, an ankle resting over his other leg as he sits beside Talia, both holding cups of tea. âI tried to raise him to have better taste in how he dresses but it didnât take.â She says.
âWhat the fuck is happening here?â Damian says, walking more into the room. Jon smiles and stands up setting his tea cup down and hugging Damian, who despite being severely confused, hugs him back. âAre you alright?â
Jon nods with a smile, âYes. Your mother and I agree that you need to focus more on recovery training after fights. Youâre just going to wear yourself out going from fights to static.â Talia nods, âHello, Ibni.â Damian walks over and kisses his motherâs cheek, âYou kidnapped my boyfriend.â
Talia waves a hand off, âThe assassins did. I wouldâve preferred to send a letter but I doubt you wouldâve responded.â She stands up, âI approve of who youâve chosen Damian. Heâs good for you.â
Damianâs eyes narrow, âYou stole JonâŚto get to know my boyfriend?â Jon nods, âSheâs been great, Damian. He speaks highly of you Ms. Al Ghul.â Talia smiles, âPlease, Jon, call me Talia.â Damian takes a deep breath and kisses her cheek one more time, âMother, this has been incredibly confusing and I need to take him home before several groups of highly powered individuals storm the base. Next time, send the letter.â
As they leave, using a plane offered by the league, Jon holds Damianâs hand, âIâm sorry you had to go through that just to meet her.â Damian whispers. Jon smiles softly, âIt was alright after the headache passed. She was welcoming and said she liked me for you. She did threaten me about if I ever hurt you but we both know thatâs not going to happen.â
Damian smiles and kisses Jon, âSo, howâd you enjoy where I grew up to be the way I am?â Jon kisses Damianâs forehead, âYou grew up here and in Gotham. You are many combinations, Dames. You decided who you would be. But the cookies were nice.â
Damian laughs, âIâll get you more cookies, Habibi.â
Damian and Raven are leading the League after the war for Apocalypse. How are they dealing with life now?
Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
âMama!â Richard sobs as Raven rushes him through the league hallways, Damian meeting them at the end of one, âHis fever went up.â She tells her husband as he takes Richard into his arms.
âBaba Iâm cold.â Damianâs heart shatters, âI know, Ibni, but we need to get your fever down.â He opens the door to the infirmary where the leagueâs head doctor is waiting. Richard buries his face against Damianâs chest , letting out soft whimpers of discomfort and sniffles. Raven sits next to Damian, holding their sonâs hand.
Her eyes glow and the aches settle, but as they learned in the beginning, since Richard and Alessia shared lower amounts of her powers, their sick times couldnât be fully healed by magic. It broke her heart the first time she tried to take away Richardâs cold, with no success.
Damian brushes Richardâs hair back, and holds him close, âI know it hurts Ibni.â Richard looks up at his father and gives him a nod, âI donât like this, Baba.â Raven grabs an ice pack and brings it to Richardâs head, who quickly whimpers and tries to push it wavy, âNo, Mama. Cold.â Damian unzips his hoodie-jacket and Richard melts into his warmth, which allows Raven to apply the cool cloth.
The doctor walks over and checks Richardâs lungs and throat, ears, fever, trying to figure out what the poor 4 year old has. He hands a spoon of medicine to Damian, but Richard shakes his head, âBaba, sore.âHe raps out, pointing to his throat.
Dammianâs eyes grow glassy and Raven focuses all her powers, feeling her energy drain and her head fog up, but manages to take away the pain in Richarâs throat long enough for him to take the medicine and eventually fall asleep.
âWhereâs Alessia?â Damian asks his wife, in a hushed tone, âDoes Father have her?â Raven shakes her head, âNo, heâs off base with some of the Justice League members. Your brothers offered to watch her.â Damianâs head snaps to her, âAnd you said no, right? Right?â Raven pats his arm, âDami, what could possibly happen? Theyâre both adults who love her dearly.â
Damian raises an eyebrow, âAdults? Do I have other brothers Iâm unaware of?â Raven gives him a look, âDamian, itâll be good. Sheâs in perfectly safe and loving arms.â Damian drops his head back, âYou better be right.â
âŚ.
âSo after nap time itâs a snack. No problem.â Dick says, sitting on the couch next to Jason. They look over at Alessia whoâs in her transportable nap bed. Jason nods, âNo big deal. We can handleâfuck, whereâd she go?!â
They jump up and race to the now empty sleep set up. It had net walls in case she rolled over, so where was she? Dick begins pulling blankets aside and Jason grabs the pillows. âJaja.â They both jump and turn, âI up.â
They both sigh in relief and Jason walks over, scooping her up, âYes you are, princess. Howâd you get out?â She shrugs and plays with the white strip of his hair. Dick laughs and they walk to the Leagueâs dining hall to get her a snack. They sit down with Alessia on Jasonâs lap and Dick begins cutting an apple, âYou want an apple, kiddo?â.
Alessia looks at it and hums, âLergic.â Dick and Jasonâs eyes widened, âDid you know she was allergic to apples?â Dick whispers loudly to his younger brother who shakes his head, âOkay, princess, how about we get you something else?â Alessia smiles and nods, then they both move to the pantry looking through it.
When they turn around to see if Alessia wanted an orange they see the seat empty, âLessi?â They rush out of the pantry and turn to see her in the sink, âWhat are you doing in here?â Dick asks, scooping her up. Alessia points at the soap, âWashing hands.â
Jason clears his throat and nods, âYeah, yep that would be a good idea before snack time. Good job, princess.â After she washes her hands they set her on the seat, âWill you stay here while we go get you a snack?â Jason asks, and Alessia smiles big while nodding.
They sigh with relief and way too much benefit of the doubt for a 2 year old. As they go through the pantry they look at all the bags of food and snack bins for Richard and Alessia which are in the corner, âPerfect.â Jason tries to open the bin and groans, âDude, itâs stuck.â Dick rolls his eyes, âOr youâre just weak, step aside.â Jason holds his hands up and moves back, âBe my guest.â
Dick starts trying to pull the lid off and grits his teeth, âSon of aâis this thing bullet proof?â Jason shrugs and pulls a gun from the back of his belt line, âLetâs find outââ Dick holds his hand out, âJason! No guns.â Jason huffs and puts it on the top shelf of the cabinet.
When they turn around to check on Alessia their eyes widen seeing an assassin handing her apple slices as she eats and hums. They rush out and grab the assassinâs hand as heâs about to hand her another one. âWhat the hell are you doing?!â The assassinâs eyes widened, âI-itâs snack time.â
Alessia looks up at her uncles with a nod, âAlessia, princess, can you breathe okay?â Jason starts looking her over to see if sheâs breaking out or her throat is swelling up, âYeah, Jaja.â She mumbles, taking another bite. Dick looks at the assassin, âWhy are you feeding her an apple?â The league member clears his throat, âShe always has an apple during snack time. An apple or banana chips.â
Jason looks down at Alessia, âPrincess, are you allergic to apples?â She nods and takes another bite. The assassin nods slowly, âAh, sheâs um, allergic to pineapple.â Dick drops his head on the dining table, as Jason nods slowly, âPineapple.â Alessia waves at the assassin as he stands up with a chuckle, handing Jason the rest of the apple.
âSneaky one.â Jason says, kissing Alessiaâs head. After finishing the apple Alessia stands up and walks over to the sink, Dick stands up to help her reach the faucet but both brothers freeze as she starts opening the utensil cabinets and climbing them then reaches the turned on faucet that a maid was using to fill a basin and begins washing her hands.
âHuh, thatâs definitely Damianâs daughter.â They then watch as she tries to turn off the faucet and ends up kicking the drawer shut as she leans into the sink and her head runs under the water. Alessia huffs and slides into the sink and turns the faucet then smiles and turns to Dick and Jason with her arms up, âI did it!â
The two laugh and Dick grabs a towel picking her up and wrapping her in it, âYes you did, kiddo.â They walk back to her and Richardâs room, and go through the closet looking for new clothes. Alessia looks in the mirror at the towel that is now resting on her head and she smiles getting an idea, âAlright, howâs the puppy shirt LessiâLessi?â Dick drops the shirt and smacks Jasonâs arm, no toddler in sight.
âAgain?â They sprint out of the room and split up, each going down different directions of the hallways. After five minutes of searching, Dick sees a cape drift down one of the corners, âB! Bruce have you seen.â When he turns the corner he starts laughing, bending over to rest his hands on his knees.
Jason runs up, stopping quickly, âDid you findâoh my gosh.â Alessia smiles, now in Bruceâs cowl, incredibly oversized, with the cape dragging behind her, âIâm Ba-Man.â Jason smiles and pulls out his phone taking a few pictures while Dick catches his breath. âYou are Ba-Man!â He says, in a playful tone.
âCome on, letâs put this back in Grandpaâs room.â Jason says, picking her up. When they walk back to Bruceâs room they smile at the girl whose eyes are currently covered by the mask, âHowâd you even get this, princess? I thought Bruce kept itâŚâ
They stop once opening the door to see chairs knocked over, a lamp broken on the floor, wet foot prints lining the ground and the platform that Bruceâs cowl and suit was on now half broken hanging off the wall. Dick covers Alessiaâs ears as Jason pulls a hand down his face, âFuââ
âŚ.
âLessi, donât pull the curtainââ Jason calls, pulling her away, leaving Dick to drop the couch, âDamnâJay!â Jason groans and puts Alessia on the couch as they pick it up and move it to the other side of the room. Somehow, while cleaning the glass off the floor and rehanging the hooks for the cowl, not to mention the broken wall sconce, Alessia managed to catch the rug on fire, and Dick jumped to put it out with one of the couch cushions.
Alessia turned out to be more of a challenge than Uncle Jaja and Uncle Riri had imagined she would be.
âOkay princess, weâre gonna play a game. You wanna play a game?â Alessiaâs eyes light up and she nods quickly, âYeah!â Dick nods as she responds excitedly to Jasonâs question, âOkay, youâre gonna sit here and think about your favorite things while Uncle Jaja and I fix the carpet so Grandpa doesnât find out.â
Alessia makes a shushing motion and they nod, âExactly princess, no telling Grandpa.â She smiles and lies down on the couch starting to talk about her favorite things, âBaba, Mama, RickyâŚâ She continues down the line as Dick and Jason shift the carpet to hide the large burnt hole marks.
âOoh.â Jason and Dick spin quickly, having learned earlier that when she found interest in something, that ooh brought some sort of chaos. âLessi, not the paint.â she turns, the jars already open, Jason and Dick dive forward as she looks at the Batsuit, obviously Grandpa needed some new colors.
âŚ.
âHis fever has gone down to a good amount. Howâs your throat, Richard?â Richard, whoâs lying on Ravenâs chest, tired and drowsy from medication, but feeling much better. âItâs not sore. Thank you.â He mumbles, eyes drooping. Raven and Damian stand up after the Doctor leaves, âWhy donât you put him in bed? Iâll go get Lessi and she can stay in our room tonight.â Raven nods and carries Richard down the hall, as Damian goes down the separate direction to Dickâs room.
When he knocks the door opens quickly, and Damian bursts out in a rare stomach tightening laughter. There were his two oldest brothers, one covered in blue paint and the other in red. Dick had bubbles on his head and Jasonâs hands were covered in flour, stickers covering their shoes. âHey at least, she got the colors right.â Damian says, laughter lessening.
âShe got into everything.â Jason mumbles out, head dropping against the door frame, âWe couldnât even open the freaking snack box during her second snack time and she wouldnât eat the bananas.â Dick walks back falling onto the couch, âOh but donât worry she found the cheeto puffs.â He gestures to the orange power covering the counter and making a trail to the bathroom. âShe got cleaned up then opened up the bag Rae packed for her, and well,â Dick held his sneakers up, now decorated with fruit and flower stickers.
âShe had a bath, in pajamas, and I fucking hope sheâs still asleep.â Jason sinks to the ground. Damian walks into the bedroom and sees his daughter asleep in the center of the bed. He smiles and picks her up as she melts in his arms, her eyes flutter open and she looks around when they enter the living room.
âBye bye, Uncle Jaja. Bye bye Uncle Riri.â She says with a small smile. Jason and Dick smile and kiss her head, âThank you both.â Damian says, with a genuine feeling of appreciation. âAnytime, little brother.â Dick says.
After Damian leaves Jason leans against the wall, Dick falling face first onto the couch, âCute kid.â Jason mutters. Dick nods, âAdorable.â They sit for a second then Jason stumbles to the kitchen, âI need a drink.â Dick holds up two fingers.

Damian and Raven are leading the League after the war for Apocalypse. How are they dealing with life now?
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
âGrandpa, come look. Grandpa, where's Gotham? Grandpa, when my Baba was littleâŚâ Richard seemed to never run out of questions to ask. And Bruce loved it. He quickly took to this role and wouldnât trade it for anything.
Answering Richardâs many questions, and playing with him in the league gardens. Holding Alessia and nodding along to her short worded stories, walking her to sleep when her parents were busy. He often would have to sneak the children away from Dick or Jon who were obsessed with being uncles.
Richard loved Dickâs jokes and endless energy that matched his own, and Alessia loved when Jon would fly her around. At low heights of course because Damian would kill him for anything higher than a few feet off the ground.
âFather give me my child, he needs to go to sleep.â Damian huffed, holding Alessia who had already nodded off in his arms. Bruce was holding Richard and reading him yet another bed-time story, âJust leave him here, Iâll put him to bed after this.â Bruce said, not looking up from the book.
âFatherââ Damian stopped himself, knowing he wouldnât win this fight, âBy 8, no longer.â He said finally and left to put Alessia to sleep in her bed. Bruce finished the story and began telling Richard about Damian when he was younger, those always being the four year oldâs favorite things to hear about.
âBaba got Titus from Mama. Titus runs fast, and Iâm almost able to run as fast as him, but only in the garden, because if I fall in the courtyard then Iâd get very hurt.â Richard mumbled out, eyes drooping. Bruce smiled and carried Richard to the small bed set up, which heâd done quickly once he found out his non-existent ability to want to separate from his grandchildren.
Two weeks later Damian sat up quickly and walked to the balcony seeing an assassin passed out on the floor. âRaven, someoneâs here.â He said quickly tugging on sweatpants as Raven shot up, âThe kids.â She said hurriedly running out of the room followed by Damian. As they entered the room closest to theirs they both paused seeing a figure slipping into the room from the window into Alessia and Richardâs shared roomâsomething he insisted as to not be separated from his baby sister for very long.
Damian drew a sword from the wall and stepped forward freezing when the figure was exposed by the moonlight, âTodd?â he asked, sword lowering. Jason landed on the floor with a soft thud, âHey Akhi.â He mumbled and looked at his niece and nephew, âHeard from Dick that you had reproduced and I had to come see for myself. Cute kids, I better be godfather to one.â he said walking over to his brother.
Jason had been there when Damian grew up in the league, and even though they threatened bodily harm on each other when they were living in the Manor at the same time, they still had a bond that was deeply unbreakable. âYou thought the best thing to do was to sneak into their room in the middle of the night?â Raven asked, pulling the blankets over Richard who had twisted and turned out of them in his sleep.
âWell, I was trying to slip into Dickâs room and maybe freak him out when he woke up, but this place is freaking huge.â Damian sighed and led Jason down the hall towards Dick and Koriâs room. Damian figured he couldnât stop Jason from what he was planning to do, the least he could was speed up the process so he could get back to sleep.
The following day had been one of the best in Richardâs lifeâin his opinion. Finding out he had so many uncles and a grandfather meant that he was surrounded by more family than heâd ever thought or hoped to have.
Alessia to everyoneâs shock and frustration had quickly taken to Jason and would run towards him whenever in the room. âWhat can I say, I always knew Iâd be the favorite one day.â Jason said, holding Alessia as she chewed on some fruit, Dick rolled his eyes and mimicked what Jason said, âWhatever, itâs just cause you act her age.â Bruce was glad to see his second eldest son and pulled Jason into a hug at the first sight of him.
âItâs good to see you, son.â Jason let a smile slide across his face, âYou too, old man.â Alessia leaned out of Jasonâs arms and into her grandfatherâs. Although it was clear she had a favorite uncle, she was attached to Bruce, âGrandpa, nanas?â She asked and Bruce smiles, picking up a banana from the table and walking around talking to Clark while Alessia took small bites.
Jason huffed and slid back into his chair beside Dick, âHeard from Tim yesterday. He said heâll come as soon as he gets time to. Heâs visiting Kon and helping out on Kent farm. His grandparents donât remember the invasion but they still feel the grief of everyone who does.â He tells them. Damian nods, âThatâs good of him.â
Though they had many, many, differences in the past, Damian and Tim had come in contact during the war. After the initial attacks and destruction, Tim helped Damian build a secure system for the League base, especially once Damian learned that Raven was pregnant.
Richard climbed into Damianâs lap and began playing with his fatherâs hands, âBaba, can I play with Titus in the garden?â Damian smiled and kissed Richardâs head, âOf course, letâs go.â He stood up and offered his hand to Raven who took it as their family, minus Alessia who was asleep in Bruceâs arms, walked outside.
âNot too fast Ricky, Titus gets excited easily, remember.â Raven tells her son gently. When Titus was around the children he was calm and would never try to hurt them, but when playing with Richardâespecially with chasing each otherâhe often got too excited and Richard would end up falling, granted he would laugh after it, but it did cause worry to race through Raven.
âI wonât run too fast, Mama.â He says with a small nod. Damian smiles and sets him down at the front steps, and Richard takes off, Titus following him. Damian and Raven stand on the steps, his arm around her waist, as they watch their son play with the great dane, giggling and screaming with joy. Neither of them had a childhood, neither had time to be children. Running around gardens or having bed time stories. Surrounded by family wherever they walked. Their children would have everything they didnât.
That was the promise they made to each other the first time they held their son. Even though they knew that was the case in their hearts long before he was born. Bruce walked up beside him, Dick and Jason following. Alessia was now awake and wiggled out of her grandfatherâs arms. She walked over to the puddles left by the rain the night before and started hopping in them, a smile wide on her face. âJaja, come!â She said, grabby hands pointed towards Jason.
Jason gave Dick a smirk and nodded, pointing to himself, âJaja.â Dick rolled his eyes and pointed to Richard, âNamed after me.â Damian rolled his eyes at his brotherâs antics but felt a sense of happiness and pride.
This, this was his family. He was raised an Al Ghul, an assassin that was prepared to take over the world with a new vision of it. But these people changed all that, they gave him a home and were the reason he met the love of his life, the reason he had children. He may have been raised an Al Ghul, but he knew one thing for sure, he was a Wayne.
DamiJon. Best friends who don't want to admit their feelings for each other incase the other doesn't feel the same. The only thing that would be worse than being shot down, would be losing each other. But damn-it if these feelings aren't strong.
Part 7 Part 8 Part 9
DCU Ships Masterlist
Jon was folding and putting away shirts as he listened to Damianâs recapping of the weekend away with his family. âShe really called them sex bruises?â Jon asks with a laugh, âI mean sheâs not wrong.â Damian groans, running his hands down his face, lying on Jonâs bed, âThatâs not the point Habibi. My older sister saw my âsex bruisesâ and my brothers noticed them!â Jon puts his final shirt away and chuckles, âIâm sorry, baby.â Damian huffs, âThis is not the time for pet names. I drove back seven hours to be here at sunrise so I could kiss my boyfriend when I arrived, only to be laughed at.â
Jon smiled and walked over falling onto the bed, more specifically onto Damian. âIâve been thinking.â Jon says, now starfished on his back across his boyfriend. Damian raises an eyebrow, adjusting to accommodate his boyfriend, âAbout what, Hayseed?â Jon lets out a sigh then looks up at Damian, âOranges cut themselves. Like, what?â
Damian laughed, knowing that if it were anybody other than his boyfriend, this would be a diversion from the previous topic. But no, this was simply Jonâs brain finding the next thing to talk about. âThatâs random. But yes, oranges do have a tendency to split when sliced.â
Jon tilts his head, âNature precuts our oranges?â Damian grins at the innocent question, âIn a way, yes. Itâs called citrus bifurcation.â Jon smiles and rolls onto his stomach, resting his head on his arms, which are propped on Damianâs chest, âOoh, say more science stuff.â
Damian smiles, enjoying when he gets to teach Jon something new, âIt happens because of the chemical composition of the peel. The acidity causes the cells to separate naturally. Kind of like how some fruits ripen and others donât.â Jon nods along, genuinely paying attention, âYouâre smart as fuck, Dames.â
Damian smirks proudly, âAnd donât you forget it. Now sleep, genius.â Jon shakes his head and settles against Damian more, âNah, Iâm up now.â Damian groans playfully, âYouâre impossible. What else do you want to know then?â Jon hums, âAnything.â Damian runs his fingers through Jonâs curls and shrugs, âHow about the difference between Kryptonite and Green Kryptonite?â He asks with a smirk.
Jon gives him a sarcastic laugh and Damian chuckles, âIâm serious. Kryptonite weakens you, and Green Kryptonite kills you. Happy?â Jon huffs playfully, âVery. Iâll make sure to stay away." Damian flicks Jonâs forehead gently, âGood. Now stay away from both, and especially stay away from the red sun lamps.â Jon laughs, âI happen to like those.â He jokes, flicking Damian back.
Damian catches Jonâs hand after the fact and huffs, âDonât joke about that, because I happen to like keeping you alive.â Jon looks away then back at Damian, âWould you move on?â Damian nods, âI suppose we can talk about something else.â Jon shakes his head, âNo, if I died. Would you move on?â Damianâs expression darkens instantly, voice becoming stern, âDonât. Donât even think about that.â
âDamesââ Jon tries but is cut off, âNo. No more talk of death. Understand?â Jon sighs, âIt was just a thought. I mean with our line of work.â Damianâs jaw clenches, eyes flashing wit ha mix of anger and fear, âThatâs exactly why I donât want to hear it. We face death every day, but we donât talk about it like itâs a casual conversation topic.â Jon kisses Damianâs hand, âIâm not going anywhere.â Damianâs grip on Jonâs hand tightens slightly, a rare vulnerability showing in his eyes, âYou better not be. Iâd hunt you down if you did.â
âI love you.â Jon whispers, kissing Damianâs fingers. Damian pulls Jonâs hand back to his chest, where he can feel his heartbeat, âAnd I love you. Now shut up and rest your throat.â Jon raises an eyebrow, âMy throat?â Damian gives him a look, âYouâve been talking a lot lately, Itâs getting raspy.â Jon huffs, âI know that look Damian. Iâm not sick.â Damian raises an eyebrow, skeptical, âYou sure about that? You sound a bit off.â
âI donât get sick.â Jon mumbles and his boyfriend smirks, âEveryone gets sick, even superboys. Even me.â Jon pouts, âYouâre not allowed to.â He laughs quietly, âNot allowed? Whoâs going to stop me?â Jon hums, âYour immune system and me.â Damian chuckles, âMy immune system is strong, but you? You canât control everything, Jon.â
Jon sits up slightly, âWhen it comes to you? Iâd move the fucking earth.â
Damianâs heart skips a beat at the intensity of Jonâs words, âYouâre ridiculous, but fine, Iâd let you try.â Jon nods and rests his head on Damianâs stomach, tracing shapes on his sides. Damian watches Jon trace, feeling the gentle pressure, âGet some sleep, Hayseed.â Jon may have claimed to not be getting sick, but Damian wasnât going to take any chances of that happening.
He turned to look at the time and saw 5:39 flashing back at him from Jonâs alarm clock. Nobody else from the team would be awake for at least another three hours. Perhaps Raven at 6:30, but they wouldnât have to worry about that, especially since she had Titus and would be taking him for a walk. And of course Dick was still back in Gotham, opting to drive back during the normal hours of the day.
He ran his fingers through Jonâs curls, feeling the Kryptonian settle down against him and looked down to confirm that he was indeed asleep, and his mind drifted to the events of his weekend at home. He had talked to Cassandra after her finding out from his âsex bruisesâ and told her all about him and Jon.
âIâm happy for you, Damian. Youâre happy.â It wasnât a question, or a suggestion. Cassandra had been raised to know body language before any other one. Hell she could tell if someone was guilty just by looking in their eyes. And her brother? Well his eyes were filled with peace and love. âPlease donât tell anyone. Iâm not ready for them to know yet.â She smiles and kisses his head, âOf course, just be safe. Protect your heart, little brother.â
He was grateful for her support, although he already knew he didnât need to protect his heart. It was in the safest place he knewâwith Jon. After all, Jonâs always had his heart.
âŚ.
âLetâs go on a date.â Damian looks up from his paperwork and meets Jonâs eyes, âWhy?â Jon huffs, âCause thatâs what couples do, Dames. They go on dates.â Damian smirks at Jonâs huff, âWeâre not most couples, Jonathan. You can fly and I know 17 different ways to kill someone without using my hands or legs.â
Jon stands up, âIâm going to ignore that last part. Come on, I wanna go on a date. Please.â He gave Damian puppy eyes and Damian tried to ignore them, but Jon placed his face right in front of Damianâs. âJonathan. No donât look at me likeâŚfuck. Where are we going?â Jon smiled, triumphantly and kissed his boyfriend. âBeach.â Damian couldnât help but give a tiny nod of approval to him. âBeach it is.â
Jon smiled and pulled Damian off his desk chair and to the bed, âTomorrow, weâll head to the beach on the far part of Jump City. Then we can get ramen, or tacosââ Damian chuckles, âKnowing you, itâs going to be ramen, and tacos, and burgers, and drinks.â Jon smiles, âSounds perfect.â He kisses Damian and wraps one arm around his waist, while the other rests on the ex-assassin's jaw. âBeach day it is, Habibi. Canât wait.â Damian whispers.
The next morning however, Jon had gotten a mixed mind at breakfast. âYeah, it was crazy. It sounded totally lame.â Donna starts, âJust a movie then they went home, like is one activity enough? Besides, she had to pay for her own ticket.â Jonâs mind began racing. Was he doing enough for his and Damianâs first date? Their first date! It had to be fucking awesome.
Damian walked into the kitchen with Raven, Titus circling their feet, âYou spoil him too much.â Damian tells her, pulling two tea-cups out of the cabinet. âI do not. Heâs just such a good boy he deserves to have a snack or two.â Damian huffs, âOr four? Heâs going to get sick.â Raven rolls her eyes, âHeâs fine, Damian.â She says, bending down to kiss Titusâs head.
âWhat are you guys talking about?â She asks, taking a seat beside Donna, âOh, just bad dates.â Damian took a seat besides Jon who didnât notice until a hand slid onto his thigh. He looked over and was met with Damianâs questioning glance. âEverything alright?â He whispered. Jon gave him a nod and a small smile, âY-yeah. Ready to go?â He whispers back.
Damian slides off the stool and finishes his tea with a nod, he leans in to whisper to Raven letting her know theyâll be heading out on their date and to cover for them if anyone else asks, âDonât make him fat.â He finishes out loud, pointing to Titus who gives him a small bark. Damian pets Titusâs head as he walks out, his and Jonâs bags already in the car from the night before, not wanting to be stopped by the team with any extra questions.
âNeed directions, Habibi?â Damian asks, sliding his seatbelt on. Jon starts his truck and shakes his head, âWeâre uh, gonna do a quick stop first.â Damian raises an eyebrow, âAnd where is this stop?â Jonâs head races with places he could go. What would be good enough for Damian? Stupid question, nothing. Fuck what wouldâ
âArt museum.â Damian raises an eyebrow, âJonathan, weâve been to the museum a hundred times. I thought we were going to the beach today.â Damian asked in a gentle voice, genuinely curious and confused.
âWeâre just going to walk through the museum first. Stop one of our first date.â Damianâs eyes widened, âStopâŚone?â Where the hell was his boyfriend taking him?
âŚ.
Museum, which Damian had already memorized from his many occasional trips there. Observatory, which Damian had to admit was odd since it was the middle of the morning and no stars were out. Desserts, drinks, snacks. Everything Jon stopped at, and still no beach.
It wasnât that Damian had his heart set on going, but he was so confused as to why Jon was dragging him all over Jump city with random events. âSo this place does a small firedance, I heard itâsââ Damian pulls Jonâs hand, stopping him in his steps, âJonathan, why are we going all over the city. Itâs already 4, and by the time we get to the beach there wonât be much sun, and itâll be crowded.â
Jon huffs, âI thought that we could do more for our first date, not just the beach. I have to make it special.â He was by now frustrated. Not by Damian, of course not. But the fact that he hadnât prepared enough, that this day wasnât enough and it wasnât going to be. âMaybe we should try again tomorrow. Or next week, I heard thereâs a Cirque du Soleil show, and maybe I can get reservations somewhere orââ
âJonathan, stop! Why are you freaking out about this?â Jon runs a hand through his curls, âI-I just wanted our first date to be special, to mean somethingââ Damian holds the sides of his face, âIt does mean something, Jon. Itâs us together.â Jon huffs, his feelings growing and unlike usual when Damian calms him down, Jon is too in his head to take a breath, âUs together isnât enough!â Damian freezes, and Jon does too. Fuck, he shouldnât have taken that back. He wishes he could, maybeâno. He canât take that back, just like he canât take back this day.
âLetâs just go back to the tower.â He whispers, and Damian nods, walking back to the car silently, pulling a curse from Jon. Once in the car Damian stares out the window, and Jon canât even begin to think of how to apologize. Meanwhile, Damian was having an internal meltdown. What did Jon mean when he said that they werenât enough? Was he regretting this now that they are together? Now that they are an actual couple.
When Jon pulls into the tower, they donât say anything to each other, and simply walk up to their rooms. Jon goes into his with a final look to Damian and proceeds to sit on the floor at the edge of his bed, with his head buried into his arms on his knees.
Damian, instead of going to his room, went further down the hall to Ravenâs. When he walked inside he saw Titus on his back as she rubbed his stomach, âI swear I havenât fed him that manyâwoah. Whatâs wrong?â She stands up quickly, Titus moving to the edge of the bed where Damian is now sitting. âWhat makes you think anythingâs wrong?â He asks. Raven sits next to him with a soft laugh, âIâm an empath, Damian. I can practically taste how upset you are.â Damian huffs and leans back, resting his head on Titus. âDid your date not go well? I didnât think youâd be back from the beach for another few hours.â
âWell, we might still be there, if weâd ever even gotten to the beach. Instead, Jon dragged me around the city all day doing random activities, and seeing things that I know bored him.â Raven sighs and lies back on the bed, âMaybe he was just nervous.â Damian shrugs, âI figured his nerves would be calmed by sand and spaghetti. Not fire dancing or going around a museum. And you wonât believe what he said before we ended the whole thing,â Damian turned to Raven, âhe said,â
âBeing together isnât enough.â They both gave each other confused looks and sat up looking at the door, the voice that said the sentence being on the other side. âThat, was freakishly correct.â Damian and Raven stood up and walked across the hall to where they saw Donnaâs open bedroom door, as she floated above the ground on the phone.Â
Damian rushed over and took the phone from her, hanging it up, âHeyââ Donna is cut off, âWhat did you just say?â He asked quickly, and she dropped to the ground with a huff, âHello to you tooââ Damian put the phone back in her hand, âWhat did you just say on the phone, Troy?â
âThat being together isnât enough? What about it?â Raven walks over and pushes a hand on Damianâs chest to make him step back, âWhy were you saying that, Donna?â Donna sits on her bed and shrugs, âI was telling my sister about this date that my friend went on. Guy took her to the movies and thatâs it. Literally no nice dinner, not even flowers. Just them, and them together, thatâs notââ Damian pinches the bridge of his nose, âNot enough, yes, we heard you the first dozen fucking times.â
Raven smacks his torso, âDid you tell anyone else about your friend?â Donna hums thinking, âI told Kori at breakfast.â Damian sighed, realizing that Jon overheard, and overthought. âThank you for nothing, Donna.â He says and storms out.
Damian sprints down the hall and puts in the code to Jonâs door walking in, âJon?â He looks around then steps into the bathroom and opens the shower door, âJon.â The Kryptonian jumps and spins, âFuck! Dames, you canât do that to me, I almost had a heart attack!â Damian rolls his eyes and strips, stepping into the shower, âYour heart is too strong for that.â He closes the door and pulls Jonâs face to him.
âDonna is an idiot.â Jonâs eyes drop knowing what Damianâs talking about, âMaybe, butââ Damian shakes his head, âNo, maybe. She doesnât know what sheâs talking about. Together, we certainly are more than fucking enough. Please, never ever listen to Troyâs relationship advice. I doubt the Amazons taught much about being in love.â
Jon nods and a tear slips down his cheek, which Damian kisses away, âI just wanted it to be perfect. So fucking special for you, Dames.â Damian tip toes and pulls Jon into a hug, guiding Jonâs head to the crook of his neck, âYou make everything special, Hayseed. Everyday is a fucking experience with you. I donât care about running around the town, all I want is to be with you. I donât care if weâre on a mission in space, or just cuddling in bed.â
Jon hugs Damian tighter and nods, âI love you, Dames.â Damian smiles and kisses Jon, âI love you too, Hayseed, but the water heater is broken and Iâm not standing in this fucking cold water any longer.â
Jon laughs and carries Damian outside after wrapping both their waists in towels. They put on sweats and Damian rests on Jonâs chest, as his own personal weighted blanket. In the morning, Jon looks down glad to see that Damian is still there, still in his arms. He kisses Damianâs head then glances at the timeâ2:46. Jon kisses Damianâs cheek then rubs his back, âDames, Dames get up.â Damianâs eyes slowly open and he looks up, âYouâre comfy, why am I awake?â
Jon rolls them over and tells Damian to get a hoodie on, âMeet me in my truck.â Damian raises an eyebrow confused but goes to his room to get a hoodie and make a quick check in on Titus, then heads down to the driveway where Jon is excitedly waiting in his truck.
âAlright, Hayseed, what is this about?â Jon leans over and kisses Damian then hands him the aux chord. âYouâll see.â Damian laughs and leans back playing one of Jonâs favorite playlists, thinking about where his boyfriend could be taking him at 3 in the morning.
Their drive was comfortable and as both of them saw it, perfect. Jonâs hand rested interlaced with Damianâs on the ex-assassinâs thigh, occasionally pressing a kiss to his palm. After 36 minutes of driving Jon pulls up to an all night hole in the wall spot and runs out. 5 minutes later he comes back and hands Damian a to-go bag, and Damian reluctantly puts it on the floor, wanting to know whatâs inside.
After another 20 minutes, they pull up to a secluded part of the beach, and Damian smiles, looking over at Jon. âItâs empty, and thereâs no sun, and the water is way too cold to swim in. But all we need is us.â Damian smiles and kisses Jon, âWeâre enough.â Jon smiles and nods, âMore than fucking enough.â
They move to the sand and sit down on a blanket that Jon threw in the back of the car while Damian was getting ready, and Jon sets down their water bottles. Damian opens the bag and drops his head in a laugh, âRamen?â Jon smiles, âThereâs a bag of Chinese pretzels on the side.â Damianâs head drops back and he smiles.
âYouâre perfect.â Jon smiles and kisses him then grabs his own bowl. They talk as they watch the waves, as the moon reflects off of them, and even though the wind blows cold air over them, they donât feel anything but happiness and content. They sit on the sand for an hour and a half, having finished their food a while ago, and were now lying back against pillows that Jon also brought, Damian between his legs leaning against his chest, and a blanket over the both of them.
âIâm sorry I let Donna get to me. I promise, the only people from now on who will have any influence on our relationship is you, me, and letâs be honest, Raven.â Jon whispers, arms around Damian. Damian smiles and nods, âI agree that sheâs a part of it. She might start invoicing us for solving our problems.â Jon laughs and leans back.
âSuns coming up, Dames. Wanna head back?â He whispers. Damian shakes his head and rolls over, resting against Jonâs chest. âI want to see the sunrise with you, then take the long way back so we can listen to music some more.â Jon smiles and kisses Damianâs forehead, âWe can do that, Dames. Sounds perfect.â
Jason Todd answers the internet' most asked questions.
Bat-Family Masterlist
The director walks up behind the camera man with a smile and looks past the screen, âAlright, cameras are good to go. Whenever youâre ready Mr. Todd.â
âHey, Iâm Jason Todd. Second adopted to Bruce Wayne, best looking, and Iâm going to be answering some of the internetâs most asked questions about me.â
Jason picks up the first board and tears off the piece of paper on the first line, âWhat is Jason ToddâsâŚmiddle name? My middle name is Peter, clearly not my doing, I prefer, Jason Badass Todd.â He smiles innocently, picking off the next piece of paper, âWhat is Jason Toddâs favorite Book?â
Jason leans back in the seat, one leg over the other now growing more comfortable and less tense in the situation, âPride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. I suppose the Art of War would also be up there.â Little did he know, that answer would win him some points with the women.
Jason rips off the next piece and reads off the board, âWhat is Jason Toddâs birthday? August 16th, donât remember most of it, but I assume I was fuâvery cute.â His brotherâs, dad, and best friend on the side let out a sigh of relief at his self-censor. âAnd finally, what is Jason Toddâs natural hair color?â His eyes widen, how the fuck did they know it wasnât black? âItâs actually red you mini detectives. Iâm actually Dickâs favorite red-head.â
Jason smirks and tosses the board to the side, âWasnât too hard. Letâs see whatâs up nextâwhoâs Jason ToddâsâŚthis is gonna get interesting, first up, who are Jason Toddâs parents?â His eyes fill with something for a quick second before he looks up at the camera, âMy dad is Bruce Wayne.â Bruce lets out a breath and holds back his tears, he can happy cry with Alfred later.
âWho is my best friend? Well, it was Roy Harper, before he left me alone on this Earth.â Roy, who was sitting on the side next to Dick here to support and or laugh at Jason, rolls his eyes, knowing Jason is still grumpy that he moved closer to Star City so that Lian is near Oliver and Dinah. âStop telling people Iâm dead!â He tells Jason from off screen, and Jason dramatically sighs, âSometimes I can still hear his voice.â
âIdiot.â Damian mumbles, rolling his eyes. Jason pulls off the next piece of paper and reads, âWho is the sexy Jason Toddâsâyes it says thatâfavorite superhero? Wonder Woman. Easy. She is an incredible heroine and I aspire to meet her some day.â He sends a subtle glare to Bruce who has yet to let him meet Diana, afraidârightfully soâthat Jason will fan-boy and best case scenario faint.
âMoving on,â Jason drags out the âonâ dramatically, âWho is my favorite brother?â Jason looks over at the group who are now staring at him directly. Jason lets out a long deep breath, âI have to go home and see them later so I donât really want to start a war. I like hanging out with Dick and grabbing drinks. Timboâs cool to grab food with, he knows a lot of spots, and Damian,â He pauses and Damian knows why right away.
It isnât general knowledge, even in the family, that Jason helped to raise Damian. That Jason often wished he could swoop his little brother up and carry him away from the League to live a normal childhood. Maybe even bring him back to Bruce. But they continued their closeness, even if their relationship consisted of a lot of bodily injuries and sarcastic insults flown across the dining table, much to Alfredâs disliking.
âDamianâs great for mountain climbing.â As they used to when they could get away for the day in Nanda Parbat to watch the sunrise and-or sunset. âKidâs always down for an adventure.â Damian gave him a subtle nod, âTheyâre all annoying as fuck though.â The camera crew winced and made sure to write down the time in the video that theyâd need to censor. Bruce runs a hand down his face, âHe was doing so well.â He mumbles to himself.
âAnd lastly in this category, who is my favorite author? That would be the brilliant Jane Austin. Next board.â He smiles with a wink to the camera and whips the board to the side, a groan of impact heard from one, if not more, of his brothers.
âAlright, does Jason Todd have any kids?â Jasonâs eyes widen and he lets out a huff, âFâI hope not! Wrap it before you tap it peopleââ Bruce groans from the side, âJason!â Jason rolls his eyes with a huff, âI do have a niece that is just a little tiny ray of sunshine named Lian.â Roy smiles and feels pride at his daughterâs impact on Jason.
âDo I smoke? I donât anymore. I picked up the habit when I was younger and lived on the streets or in between orphanages before meeting Bruce. Luckily I dropped itâterrible for the physique and now I work-out to blow off steam.â He smiles, proud of himself. âDoes the lovely Jason Todd bake? I do actually, my specialty is cookies, and Alfred gives me free range of the kitchen, but especially on Wednesdays. Iâm the only one in the house with that lovely privilege.â
Jason sends a smirk to his brothers who either roll their eyes, flip him off, or reveal a dagger that Bruce quickly covers. âDid Jason Todd go to Gotham Academy? Yes, I did in fact go to Gotham Academy, same as the rest of my brothers. Iâm pretty sure between tuition and paying for broken items, Bruce is covering the cost of any new building projects they may have.â
He tosses the board behind him and smiles, âOur last category is how do I make my cookies? Psh, the recipe. Folks Iâm afraid that recipe is going with me to the graveâŚagain.â He mumbles the last part for his family with a teasing smirk. âNext up, how many languages do I speak? A few different ones, Englishâobviouslyâ, Spanish, Russian, German, French, Italian, Arabic. I can read lips and I know sign language, as well as a few more things.â He sees one of the internâs jaws drop and he sends a wink her way.
âWhat does it take for Jason to shut up?â Tim asks from the side, and Jason sends him a playful and dramatic glare, âWeâve moved past the âwhatsâ Tim, now weâre at the âhowsâ. Are you even paying attention?â He shakes his head, âFor example, how tall is Jason Todd? I am 6â0â. Hate to throw Dick under the bus, but he is indeed shorter than Bruce and myself.â A board hits him knocking him out of his chair, the camera cutting.
As it comes back on, Jason is back in the seat, holding an ice pack to his head while Bruce hits Dickâs head. âWell, this has been the internetâs most asked questions about me, hope you enjoyed.â
I imagined this movie about the Wayne family and if they got together and kinda put together the trailer that I could imagine in my mind.
Like bro, just tell me if you can picture it.

A hand reaches out for one of the cookies on Alfredâs tray, and he quickly turns, smacking it with a spatula, âI believe you had a strict kitchen ban.â The camera changes to see Dick standing at the counter with an innocent smile, âOh, come one, Alfred. Just one?â
End clip.
Bruce walks down the steps and can hear Alfred from the kitchen talking to someone, âPut away the puppy eyes, I will not be giving in.â Bruce walks into the kitchen and smiles, âDonât you all have a ban from here?â He sees Dick, Tim, and Damian eating cookies at the counter, and Tim shrugs, all three of them answering, "Reunion Weekend.â.
End clip.

Damian huffs, âThis is stupid.â Dick smiles and looks through a wine shelf before grabbing three bottles and balancing them on the cake box, âCâmon, reunion weekend is great. Bruce and Alfred get to see us, even if they donât admit they miss us.â
End clip.
Bruce staring at a floatie on fire in the middle of the pool, âAlfred?â He stares at it, standing next to Alfred, âYes, Sir?â Alfred equally as unfazed, âWhereâs the fire-estinguisher?â Alfred hands one to Bruce, âI keep on in every hall of the Manor.â Bruce nods, taking it without looking.
End clip.
âItâs great to get back to Gotham every once in a while.â Dick tosses several greeting cards towards Damian, who catches them easily.
End clip.
Bruce sitting at the head of the breakfast table and all you see is him, with Damian standing over his shoulder looking down at a magazine, more specifically the cover, âItâs not that bad.â Damian mutters, with a wince and a groan, getting responses of painful and uncomfortable groans, âSo loud.â âStop talking.â âI can taste my lungs.â
End clip.
A group of criminals running down an alleyway, stopped by each of the brothers in their vigilante costumes then glaring at them and pulling out switchblades, âYou can still stand down.â Dick says. Damian smirks, âOr you can make it fun.â
End clip.

End clip.

End clip.
All four brothers sitting in chairs at Gotham Police Department icing wounds or holding an ice pack to their head, as heels click down the hallway. âYou guys look like hell.â They look up and see Barbara Gordon, âBabs?â Dickâs eyes widen.
End clip.
Damian and Dick in the store walking to the check out line, âAnd I suppose we wonât be talking about the fact that you ran into your ex-girlfriend mid-arrest?â
End clip.
Barbara and Dick standing close on a balcony, one of her hands on the side of his face while his eyes are closed, âYouâve been gone for a while, Boy Wonder.â She whispers and he smiles softly.
End clip.
Bruce sits and watches all his sons laugh and talk at the dinner table as his voice is heard in the background, âTheyâre my sons, Alfred. I love them, even when theyâre driving me crazy. Iâll take every reunion I can get as long as they come home.â Alfred is heard, âThey know this is their home, Sir.â We see hands on Bruceâs shoulders.
End Clip.
Bruce is walking down the life of his sons who are sitting on the couch, âDonât add to the population,â He points at Dick, âDonât subtract from the popuation,â He points at Damian, âDonât end up in the hospital or newspaper,â He points at Tim, âDonât end up in jail,â He points at Jason, a voice heard in the background, âIf you end up in jail, establish dominance quickly.â
End clip.
WAYNE FAMILY REUNION
Bonus clip: Dick and Damian start checking out their items as Tim and Jason run up to the line, holding up their items and slightly out of breath, Tim holds up a piping bag for frosting, sprinkles, and a pineapple, âI got the toppings.â Jason holds up his items, and Damian covers his face, none of the other brothers fazed as if this was a part of their normal shopping list, âI got the condoms and the diagram paper.â Dick looks at them then tosses them in the cart, âFlavored?â Tim shrugs, âIt was that or glow in the dark.â They all turn to the check out counter again.
End Clip.
I hope you guys liked thisâŚlet me know if I should make this into an actual book. I probably would release it once the entire thing is finished since I lowkey have most of it already planned out in my head.
The youngest Wayne comes home to an interesting greeting by his older brothers.
Damian walked into the manor and saw all his brothers sitting in the living room staring in his direction, all seeming a different type of on the edge of their seats. Dick's knee was bouncing quickly and his eyes kept shifting, something he only did when incredibly nervous. Jason looked cocky and like he was waiting to see some type of drama burst forth. Tim was smirking, like he had found dirt on someone, that he couldn't wait to share. Unfortunately, Damian had a feeling that he was the center of their emotions.
"Damian! Good, you're home. You should take a seat." Dick said standing up and gesturing to the couch.
Damian shrugged his bag off his shoulder and tossed it to the floor by the entryway table. "I don't know what's happening here, but I can tell it's going to be stupid, useless, and a complete waste of my time." He said, and turned towards the staircase.
Jason laughed short, "Just sit down. He won't give up until you talk about this." Damian rolled his eyes and took a seat on the couch arm, furthest from his jittery eldest brother.
"So-well Damian-there's a time, no, when you're at an age...fuck-how do-" He started fumbling. "Tt. Grayson, just spit it out."
How he wish he could have taken that back, "We found condoms in your room!"
Time seemed to freeze. Damian wasn't sure how long he sat in his place processing what Dick had just said. No idea how long Jason had been laughing and gripping his stomach, or when Tim got his phone out to record.
"W-what did you-You went through my room! You completely ignored my privacy Grayson!" Damian shot up furious.
Dick held his hands up, "I was just looking for the textbook you needed-" He tried to defend himself. Damian had texted him from school saying that there was a page diagram he needed from a certain book he had left at the manor, and asked Dick to take a picture. "It was on top of my desk. The-those, were in my drawer."
Jason shrugged, "Relax, don't go off on Dick, I'm the one that found them. Couldn't find the lighter that you stole from me, so really this is all your fault." Damian's face grew hot and he clenched his fists to stop himself for doing anything he'd regret.
"Damian, we can talk about all of that later, but right now we need to discuss, what your purpose...if they...I mean-" Dick stumbled over his words again, and Tim stepped in with some assistance, "Look, are you fucking or not?" He asked bluntly.
Damian went to answer but had found that his father entered at the worst possible moment. "I feel like I'll need some context here." He stated, closing the front door that he had entered from.
Damian had intended to divert the conversation and hopefully escape up into his room where he could hide out until the matter became uninteresting for any of them, but Jason beat his to it, "No biggie, Dick found condoms in the brat's room and flipped out." Bruce's eyes widened.
Sure Damian was 17 now and Bruce had been doing things around that age himself, but Damian isn't like him. Not in that department anyway. He had somehow always thought that he wouldn't have to worry about this situation with his youngest son.
10 years ago it was Dick, making out with Barbara on the couch of the manor when Bruce was supposed to be on a work trip. "Dick, the weather got too bad, I'll just have to postpone-" He froze upon entering to two half dressed teenagers. He turned around and they both quickly scrambled to put their clothes back on. "B-Bruce it's not-we weren't." Dick started but Bruce held a hand up.
"We'll talk about this later, Barbara do you have your car?" He asked and turned now that they were both fully dressed again. She nodded and Bruce looked to Dick, "Say goodbye Dick, after you walk her to her car we're going to have a little chat."
Bruce had tried to seem confident and like he knew what he was doing on the outside, but on the inside he was a complete mess. What the hell was he supposed to say? In the end he went over consent and the importance of protection. He had sighed in relief when the discussion had quickly ended and Dick sprinted upstairs into his room, where he remained until school the next morning.
Jason had been a completely different story, always the rebellious child. He straight out walked into Bruce's office in Wayne Industries one day and announced, "Hey Brucie, had sex yesterday, we were safe, figured we didn't need a repeat of what happened with Dick. Cool? Cool." He said then exited. It was definitely a shock to the investors Bruce was meeting with, but never the less Bruce continued the meeting, wondering if that were any better than his first go around with the topic.
Tim was by far the most interesting. It seemed that he had more to say than Bruce, "Did you know that most teenagers have sex by this age? That's crazy! They could be doing so much, studying, working, literally any other thing." Bruce had at one point wondered if Tim had any hope for a relationship in general.
But this, this was Damian. His youngest, the one who he had the most trouble with. They were so similar, almost too similar at times, even though they would often deny it. Despite how close they'd grown over the last few years of Damian living in the manor, they still had their fair share of awkward moments, or conversations that seemed to go nowhere. This was the one area he had thought Damian had differed from him the most.
Damian had never been very social, having few friends, and even then they were mostly his team mates. When Bruce started sending him to Gotham High School, he'd hoped that Damian would branch out and make some new connections. Yet, the last thing he expected was this type of connection.
"Well, Damian, perhaps there's a talk that-" Bruce began but his son cut him off.
"No. No this is not happening. I am not discussing this. Father, I'm not a child, I know all I need to know, and I have absolutely no interest in having a conversation about this with you, and especially not any of these idiots." He said, and finished by pointing towards his brothers. Dick gasped, Tim shrugged, and Jason muttered, "That's fair."
Damian stormed up into his bedroom and Bruce sighed then followed, intentionally telling his other sons to stay in the living room.
"Damian," He knocked and stepped into his room slowly. Damian was sitting on the edge of his bed on his phone. "Can I come in?"
Damian looked up and groaned, "You already have." Bruce stepped in further and took a seat next to his son. "Damian, I don't want this to be difficult, I just want to make sure that you know-" Damian stopped him, "Father please don't. I know what consent is, I know what protection is, why it's important. All of that. Trust me, we don't need a repeat of you and mother." Bruce laughed at his blunt answer and Damian smiled softly. "Alright then. If you do need anything-" Damian nodded, "I will ask."
Bruce nodded and patted Damian on the shoulder then stepped out and saw all his sons leaning against the opposite wall clearly listening in. "I trust none of you to give this talk, but I trust one of you the least" He stated and began to walk away with a smirk, leaving them to argue over who it was that he trusted the least.

smut warning
Jon pulls back, and looks at Damian, âWhat happened at dinner?â Damian shakes his head, âIâll tell you later.â Jon nods and pulls him back into a kiss.
He didnât know what the fuck happened in the last hour, but at this moment, he couldnât care less.
Jon pulls Damian into him, the kiss sending fire through both of them, "I'm never letting you go, Jonathan. You're mine, I'm yours. Fuck, I've been yours." Jon smiles and pulls Damian closer, "I love you, Damian Wayne." Damian laughs into the kiss, a sweet laugh filled with everything he's wanted to say for the past few months, "I love you so fucking much, Jonathan Kent." He whispers, connecting their lips again.
Jon pushes Damian back towards the desk, all the items on top of it sliding off, "Sorry." He mumbles with a laugh, Damian shakes his head smiling, "Don't worry about it." Jon's hand slides to the back of his boyf--wait, "What are we?" He asks, pulling back. Damian raises an eyebrow, "If you'd like to label us being in love, then we are boyfriends. But I don't care what you call us as long as you're mine." Jon smiles and rocks on his feet, "All I've wanted to hear for months." He pulls his boyfriend back into a kiss and starts tugging off his soaked suit jacket. "Did you run here?"
"Yes, I needed to see you." Jon shakes his head with a laugh, lips moving to Damian's neck, "You're going to get sick." He slides Damian's jacket off fully, and begins undoing the buttons of his white shirt, "Trust me?" Damian nods in response to Jon's question, "With my life." Jon smiles and tugs his own hoodie over his head, Damian's hands meeting his waist. If Jon didn't care about this being the most intimate moment of their lives knowing each other so far, he'd have hissed from the cold touch. Jon picks Damian up, the ex-assassin's legs wrapping around the Kryptonian's waist.
Damian's eyes narrowed in confusion when Jon walked towards the opposite direction of the bed, "Where are--" Jon kisses his neck, "Like I said, you're gonna get sick if you stay like this.â He walks into the bathroom next to Damian's room and pushes him against the counter, lips trailing down his neck to his chest, and Damian's head dropping back. Jon tugs off Damian's belt, then slides his sweatpants off, as Damian steps out of his pants, the two now bare and feeling like this was where they belonged. In each other's arms.
"Fuck, you're perfect." Jon whispers, looking over Damian's body. He could see the scars that have built up over the years, and made a mental note to kiss every single one. Damian let out a laugh, "If either of us were to be the perfect one, it's you, Jonathan." Jon spins them, kissing Damian hard and reaching into the shower to turn on the water, waiting till it turned hot enough to fill the room with steam.
As they stumbled into the shower, Jon's hand reached down and began lightly stroking his boyfriend's cock, Damian letting out a sound that made Jon's heart race. "F-fuck, Habibi." Jon smiles, "Say that again." Damian tugs at Jon's hair, glad that he can finally do it, after months of wanting to tug at his curls. "Habibi. Mine, my beloved."
Jonâs lips attach to Damianâs as he backs him against the wall, hand tugging lightly at his aching cock still as Damianâs breathing grows shallow and shaky, âYouâre so beautiful, Dames.â He whispers.
Damian bites at Jonâs shoulder and Jon drops his head forward âJon, p-please.â Jon takes his jaw firm but gentle and lifts it, âPlease what, Dames?â A whimper escapes the Robinâs throat, âFuck me.â He says, more as an expression but Jon smiles, âI can do that.â
Damian chuckles and rolls his eyes then gasps as Jon reaches down and pulls him up by the back of his thighs. Damian's legs come up to wrap around Jon's waist and he pulls the Kryptonian closer, as Jon's lips trail down Damian's chest, leaving marks and small bites in his trail. "So, fucking, beautiful." He whispers after each kiss. He slides a finger into his boyfriend's ass, Damian's head falling back on the wall, "Fuck, Jonathan."
Jon smiles and kisses his now exposed neck, "Good?" Damian nods, unable to form the right words. He figured that being with Jon like this would be intense and passionate, but damn, if he knew it would be this electric he would've told Dick to go fuck himself and his stupid rule--that he now knows doesn't exist--and jumped Jon the second he saw him. Adding another finger, Jon begins a slow motion of sliding them in and out while Damian lets out soft groans, his breathing shaky.
"Fuck, you're way too good at that." He mumbles out tugging at Jon's hair. Jon smiles and kisses Damian softly. He reaches down and wraps a hand around Jon's cock which is hard against his boyfriend's abs, pre-cum leaking from the tip, "Fuck, Dames." Jon's eyes meet Damian's and he slips his fingers out, guiding his cock to Damian's entrance. "Can I?" Damian nods quickly and Jon shakes his head, pulling his jaw so Jon can look Damian in his eyes, "Can I?"
"Yes. Please, yes." Damian says, verbally. Jon slides in slowly and Damian's jaw drops, Jon's hold on him nearly slipping as he tries to keep his balance, "Fuck you feel so good." He whispers beginning a pace. He pulls Damian back into a kiss, hot and full of want. The sounds of their moans echo in the bathroom, mixed with the occasional slap of skin, Damian's composure completely shatters as he loses himself in the sensation.
Jon's hips snap and meet the assassins with every thrust, Damian's lets trembling as he starts to lost his grip on Jon, "Faster, please." Jon nods and moans into Damian's neck, hips pounding into him at a faster pace. Damian's nails pull down Jon's muscles leaving marks as he cries out at the new pace. His eyes rolling back, tears forming from the overwhelming pleasure, "I'm close, Habibi."
Jon lets out a shaky breath and wipes Damian's tears, kissing his jaw while he whispers sweet words, "So fucking beautiful." Damian's breathing hitches again as Jon pulls him into another kiss, and whimpers one last time, his body tensing up as he cuts with a loud moan of Jon's name. He pants heavily, collapsing against Jon as he rides out his high, his cum spilling onto the floor and Jon's hand, Jon's thrusts quickening as he spills into Damian with a groan.
Both of the two releasing soft whimpers from the feelings, Jon setting Damian on his feet as he pulls out, "I love you, Dames." The Kryptonian whispers and Damian responds, "I love you more, Jon." Jon laughs and shakes his head, "I really don't think that's fucking possible." He kisses Damian on the forehead and Damian hugs him.
Once out, the two collapse onto Damianâs bed, both in sweatpants and one of Jonâs sweatshirts. Jon melts into Damian, his head on his chest and sighs with comfort. âYou wonât tell anyone you fucked me right?â Damian whispers, Jon breaking out into laughter, âDonât worry, Dames. Everyone can think youâve reached the level of top in this relationship.â
Damian smiles and runs a hand through Jonâs curls, sure that if he could do that forever he would. âWell, maybe, they donât have to know quite yet.â He suggests and Jon thinks about it genuinely for a minute, âNot that I donât want anyone to know, or anything like that. I justââ Damian sighs, âI lost so much time with you, with us, Iâd like it to just be that way for now.â Jon nods, âI agree. Plus sneaking around might be kinda hot.â
Damian chuckles and kisses his boyfriendâs head. âSo, what are we going to do about Dickâs rule?â Jon asks, bringing up what he thought would be the breaking point of them. Damian smiles, âIt wasnât his rule. He was writing something to a boss saying that was stupid. He doesnât care if team mates date.â
Jonâs head flies up to meet Damianâs eyes, âSeriously?â Damian nods, âSo we spent all that time not fucking for a typo?â Damian winces and nods. âYes. Iâm sorry, Habibi.â Jon huffs with a pout, âNow I have to fuck you double.â Damian smirks, âWell, I wouldnât say not to that.â
âŚ.
Raven knew. Of course she knew. Even if Jon and Damian hadnât told their best friend the next day, she would have found out eventually. The way they were with each other around the team hadnât changed much. They would still sit next to each other at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Still have each otherâs backs on missions or fighting C-List villains. Still sit next to each other during movie nights.
Except now, their hands were joined under the blankets. They made sure to keep their eyes on each other even more in the field. Breakfast was usually filled with side-ways glances with memories from the night before. Hell, lunch and dinner were often the same.
Today, though? Today was their true test. Sure they were able to keep their relationship from the Titanâs for two and a half weeks. Even from Dick! Heâd noticed something but he just brushed it off as them being back to best friends. Glad that theyâd made up. But today was their monthly check-in with the Justice League, and even worse, it was in person this time. âHeâs going to know.â Damian says from his spot pacing in front of his boyfriend. Jon was sitting on his bed, Titusâs toy in hand as they played tug-of-war. âHeâs not gonna know. We talked about this, weâll sit on opposite ends of the table, wonât look at each other, and wonât meet up until weâre sure theyâre gone.â
Damian shakes his head and walks over sitting on Jonâs lap hugging him, âMy father will know. I know he will.â Jon tosses Titusâs toy across the room, the dog running for it. âDames, he wonât find out. And even if he does, Iâm sure heâll keep it a secret until weâre ready for people to know.â
Damian nods and melts into Jon, âWe should probably get ready.â He whispers. Jon nods, âYouâre dad will definitely figure it out if you show up to the meeting in a Metropolis University shirt and I show up in your sweatpants.â Damian shrugs, âWe were stealing each otherâs clothes long before we started dating.â He says, Jon laughing. âThatâs true.â He rolled them so he was over Damian, the ex-assassin now smirking, âI suppose we can wait a little longer.â
He sits up and pulls at Jonâs jacket, the material sliding off the Kryptonianâs shoulders, as Jonâs lips attach to Damianâs. âYouâre going to get us in trouble.â Jon mumbles, Damian laughing into the kiss. âNever stopped us before.â
Jon pushes Damianâs shirt higher as Damian runs a hand through Jonâs curls, something heâs taken to doing at every opportunity he gets, pushing Jonâs jacket off completely. As they continue to pull at each otherâs clothes and lips drift over skin, the door to Damianâs room slides open, the two in their own world too much to care.
Raven walks in and leans against the wall clearing her throat, Damian and Jon jumping apart and looking over. âEver hear of knocking?â Damian asks with a huff. Raven laughs, âThatâs hilarious coming from you.â She stands straight, âJust thought Iâd give you a heads up that your dads are here. One of which has super-hearing.â Jon huffs and falls next to Damian on the bed, âWeâll be there in a minute.â
Damian groans and sits up mumbling something about his best friend being a cock-block. âAlright, time to pretend that I donât plan on fucking you tonight after dinner.â Jon says, Damian pushing him off the bed. âIdiot.â Jon hops back up, arms resting on the bed as he leans in towards Damian, âYour idiot.â
They quickly change into their suits and head out to the meeting room where they take seats on opposite ends of the table, Raven next to Jon and holding back her laughter as Damian glares at the front of the room with a subtle pout.
Turns out, pretending that your boyfriend isnât your boyfriend is incredibly hard. Especially in the early stages where all they wanted was to be by each other and hold hands. Everybody noticed that Damian was more, well, Damian in the meeting, unable to look at Jon though they didnât think anything of that part.
As Wonder Woman gave her briefing, Batman sent a message to Robinâs gauntlet, something that only heâd seeâWhatâs wrong? Damian huffed, and sent a message back, Nothing. This is how I normally am. Bruceâs eyes narrow as he looks over at his youngest whoâs now avoiding eye contact.
He looked over to Dick instead who was already looking between the two, and gave his father a shrug. Heâs been fine lately. Happy even. Dickâs message makes Bruce even more skeptical. Was Damian upset that he was there? Heâd been home the month before and everything was fine then he ran out at dinner. He was supposed to be at the Manor this weekend, and Bruce was hoping he wouldnât cancel.
After the meeting he quickly went up to his son, mission in mind. âDamian, youâll be home this weekend, correct?â Damian subtly winced. He had planned on figuring a way to get out of thatâa mission, a villain, a well timed injury, but so far he had nothing. His father would just get more suspicious if he said no anyway, so he really only had one choice, âOf course, Father.â
Bruce gave him a small nod. âGood, Dick will be coming home too, so you can just join him.â Damian shook his head. He knew that Dick was also joining them at the Manor, but he also knew that Dick would be leaving tonight, and he planned to have at least one more day with Jon before everything with his family exploded.
âIâll drive myself. There are some files here that I need to close out before I can leave. Also, Titus travels better in my car.â The dogâs head lifts from where he was lounging on the couch next to Raven, after hearing his name. âAlright then. Weâll see you Friday.â Bruce gives him one final goodbye then heads out with the rest of the League.

âJonathan!â Damian pulls his hands over his face, for what seems like the fifth time in that hour. Why did he think that Jonâs offer to help him pack would end with something actually getting done? So far, Jon had managed to get Damian to take a five minute cuddle break, twice. Unpacked what Damian had already packed several times until the ex-assassin finally noticed what he was doing. And was now lying across Damianâs bed with a pout, arms crossed. âWhy are you leaving? You went back to the manor only a few weeks ago.â
Damian rolls his eyes, âYes, because I missed the regular date to go home. Youâre being immature.â Though he wasnât really upset. He didnât want to go either, he didnât want to leave when he was in this perfect space between him and Jon. âIâll be back Sunday night, and we can go to the taco place you like.â
Jon lifts his head, âTacos?â Damian slides onto his lap and nods with a laugh, âYes, tacos.â
Leaning forward to kiss the other, Damianâs hips happen to slide over Jonâs the two groaning. Jon pulls Damian down more, hand sliding to the back of his neck. Damian melts into the kiss, but then pulls back with a playful glare, âJon, I have to finish packing.â His words, not holding any actual intention.
âYou wonât be leaving till 4 tomorrow. Pack later.â Jon whispers, pulling Damian by the back of his neck gently to be closer. Damian shivers at the whisper, his resolve weakening, âI suppose I could do that, but you know I like to be packed by 7 so I can take Titus on a walk.â Jon huffs out a laugh and sits up, hugging Damian close to him, âHereâs my offerâI can fuck you very deeply on this bed and possibly in the shower after I fuck you on the desk, or we can continue packing.â
Damianâs cheeks flush red at the bluntness, but he raises an eyebrow intrigued by the first option, âAnd what would be on the desk, Habibi?â Jon smirks, âMy cock in your ass.â Damian swallows hard, his grip becoming possessive, âOption one it is. Packing can wait even longer.â Jon smiles and pulls Damianâs shirt off, immediately pulling him into a kiss. Damian kisses back fiercely, tangling his fingers in Jonâs hair.
Damian smirks, pushing Jon back onto the bed, nipping at his jawline, âFuck, Dames.â Jon groans out. Damian grinds down against Jon, âGetting impatient?â Jon huffs, âYouâre teasing me.â âThatâs the point.â Damian says, grinding down again, as he begins pressing kisses down Jonâs chest.
âFuck.â Jon groans out and Damian smirks, reaching his nipple and nipping at it, âSay please.â Jon rolls his eyes, âPlease, Dames. Before I lose my mind.â Damian smirks, âGood, but I might still make you wait a bit more.â
Jon looks up at him, eyes darkening then flips them over, âNah. You had fun, my turn.â Damian lets out a surprised chuckle, his eyes sparking with challenge, âIs that so? Make me yours then, Habibi.â Jon smiles, âAlways do.â
âŚ.
At four the next morning, the same time as the last trip home for Damian, he and Jon were standing outside his car, waiting for Titus to go inside. âTitus, Iâm not giving you your squeaky shark. Alfred got you a non-squeaky one.â Damian sighs, head resting on the top of the door. Titus gives him a huff and a small bark. Tired of dealing with this for the last five minutes, Damian reaches into the front seat and tosses Titusâs favorite toy into the back, the great dane immediately hopping into the back seat and laying down while he chews at his favorite toy.
Jon let out a laugh and closed the door carefully, as Damian got in the driverâs seat. Jon leaned through the window, and unlike their last goodbye, kissed Damian softly. âCall me when you get there.â Damian chuckles, âYouâll still be asleep. Iâll text you.â He responds, kissing his boyfriend one last time.
The drive to Gotham seemed to drag on forever, Damianâs urge to turn around and climb into bed with Jon to cuddle seemed like the perfect thing to do, but he knew that his father was expecting to see him, and that he did in fact miss the Manor.
He pulled up to the gate and smirked, knowing that Alfred would have something to say about him being in a sweatshirt and sweatpants, again. âCome on, Titus.â Damian says, opening the back door. Luckily Titus knew not to squeak the toy while Damian was driving, but now that they were home he jumped out, biting it to his heartâs content.
Hearing the loud sounds, Alfred opened the door and raised an eyebrow at the dog, âDid I not get you a more silent object?â Damian chuckles, âI think he mainly brought it to put me on edge for the drive.â Titus walks into the house and trots straight to Damianâs room.
âMaster Damian, I assume your father cut you off from your bank-accounts.â He said, giving Damian a once over. A smirk comes to the teenagerâs face as he walks into the Manor âPennyworth, worry not. Father hasnât stopped my accounts.â Alfred raises an eyebrow, âThen youâve been mind-controlled. Or possibly lost a bet.â He mutters as he walks off into the kitchen.
Damian enters the living room and sees his father and all his brothers. âHey, you wanna tell us why you ran out from dinner the other night?â Jason asks. Damian had yet to explain the reasoning to his family, and simply hoped that they wouldnât call or text him about the topic. âI realized a break-through on an important case. I needed to get to the problem.â He says, a practiced steady lie.
Jasonâs eyes narrow. Heâs known Damian since the ex-assassin was a kid, and just like Dick was trained by Batman, so he could tell that there was something in his story that wasnât exactly the truth. âIf you say so.â He mutters, sinking back into his seat.
Damian slides his sweatshirt off, tossing it onto the back of the couch, making a mental note to take it with him upstairs before Alfred finds it and hides it. The rule being if anyone left clothes out, Alfred would find a new spot for it until the item was found. They may have all been skilled detectives, but none of them were a match for Alfred.
âDid the Titanâs have a mission after I left?â Dick asks, eyebrows furrowed. Damian huffs as he drops onto the couch, âNo. Why do you ask?â Dick gestures to the side of Damianâs shirt, âYouâve got bruises lining your torso.â Damian feels his heart race for a second, if only they knew what the actual bruises were from, his brotherâs would be on his case for the rest of the weekend.
âSparring.â Damian mutters, âIâve seen you spar with all of your brothers at once, Damian. Youâve never had bruises like those.â Bruce says, leaning forward. âIt may have been a fight. I donât see how this is important.â He was getting more and more nervous. Who wouldnât be with the Bat-family all interviewing him.
Cassandra, who happened to be on the couch next to Damian looks up from her book, âDid you hear about the fight in Gotham University? I think it was your old professor.â She tells Dick. Dick quickly gets distracted and nods, âFuck, it was. He was always an asshole, guess he finally lost it and punched the mascot at one of the school events.â
Damian let out a subtle sigh of relief as the topic changed, and his sister leaned over with a whisper, "Perhaps you hide your sex bruises better next time.â Damianâs eyes widen and she stifles a laugh, âIâm happy youâve found someone.â She says finally and he smiles with a red face. âT-thank you.â
Even though he was mortified that his sister knew what the marks running over his body were from, he was glad knowing she was in his corner. Now he just had to survive the rest of the weekend, which in his experience, would be hard as fuck.
