I just finished my reflection on this book I recently read. It was a hilarious read (whether it be turkeys flirting with her, "Hoe masters", or sneaking zucchini into people's car during church) but it was really life changing. I'm not going to go to a farm and do what they did (at least not yet) but I do want to become a "locavore" and start eating healthier but also more real and more sustainable. I don't wanna preach or anything but it's a fantastic read, it's just so sweet and three family members wrote it. Follow a family's journey from Tucson to Appalachia where they grow and rely on local food while learning about themselves, it's just really great.
